Its time to expose a myth about Christian singleness, and discuss what "gift" Paul is actually talking about in 1 Corinthians 7.  

For years I've read books and heard sermons that say "singleness is a gift" and steward "the gift of singleness".  All the while, my singleness never felt like a gift. SPOILERS! When I read God's word and understood the biblical definition of a "gift from God"... singleness or being unmarried don't quite meet that criteria.
