Kolby Crooks in an Oklahoma Archery Champion. He has been shooting a bow since 4 years old and most of that time spent at the top of the game. Kolby shoots for Hoyt Archery, Black Eagle Arrows and Conquest Archery. This past weekend he won the Oklahoma State Archery Association Field State Championship with a score of 841. These guys own and operate The Tru Hunting Experience - Deerman The 3d guys. This group has been around since the early 2000. Their way of scoring a 3D target and style of 3D shoot is not what the standard is. But they are trying to reset the standard and you can hear the passion and ownership in this conversation. They are proof that there are many ways to shoot and score 3D animals.

Dallas is Oklahoma's big game biologist for Oklahoma Department Wildlife Commission. Dallas explains what goes into decisions it takes to to maintain Oklahoma's deer heard. It's not just guess work picking the dates for the hunting seasons. I was very interested when he gets into how the deer population is counted for the upcoming season. He admits he has a really great job getting to see the how deer react, move, and grow with all the programs the ODWC has. Everyone knows Neil is our new ASA State Rep for 2024. Before he gets to his 1 year anniversary he pulls together the ASA shooters and shows the ASA Federation office some staggering numbers with shooter count, range sign ups, and memberships. He goes on to let everyone know that this has been a team effort from all the host ranges, friends, family, and fellow shooters. He does take time to talk a little for next year and what it will look like. He brings up that this year isn't quite done, because they still have a directors meeting nationally and he is organizing a Oklahoma State wide meeting in September. Jeremy give us his take on the Redding Shoot and the Western Trail Shoot. This was his first trip out to shoot those and we are privileged that he has agreed to come on and tell us about his trip. Oklahoman's has a new place to purchase outdoor gear. In this episode we are talking with the Archery Manager Kyle Mullins. The name of the shop is Martin's Outdoor and Tackle located in Owasso OK. No one can deny that Total Archery Challenges (TAC) events have become a destination spot for archery enthusiast.
