Friends of the Wilson County Public Libraries will host a paint-and-sip party at Circle G Restaurant in Poth on Saturday, Aug. 17. Painting will be instructed by Rosie from Canvas Kids and begins at noon. Admission is , and includes a 9×11 canvas, an apron, paint, and brushes, as well as a prize drawing ticket. Tickets for the event, which is limited to 70 participants, can be purchased at the Sam Fore Jr. Public Library in Floresville.
