Summary: The first creatures God made after He formed this earth with its atmosphere, lands, seas, and plantlife, was fish and fowl – from the greatest whale to the smallest hummingbird. Any life of any kind that lives in the water is made at this point. The language allows that this may be the time God made flying insects as well; however it is possible they were made on Day 6. All these creatures are made with the ability to perpetuate their species by reproduction. The creatures made on Day 5 are the first creatures blessed by God. This is perhaps one of the best descriptions of the what Church should be about these days. Singing praises, praying, praying for and confessing to one another, and receiving forgiveness and healing. Chip reads and offers encouragement on a couple of passages pertaining to the topic. James 5:13-16 13 Is anyone among you suffering? Then he must pray. Is anyone cheerful? He is to sing praises. 14 Is anyone among you sick? We're all hypocrites! In Matthew 7, Jesus talks about logs and specs. But in 1 Corinthians Paul speaks about the supremacy of love.
