Terry walks through the Scriptures showing that God's covenant with Abraham is everlasting and still active today.Understanding God's covenant promises will strengthen your faith and help you stand firm in the days ahead.FEATURED RESOURCE
“Jesus was not filled with a thing. He was filled with a person.” In this message, Filled, Sent, and Accountable, Pastor Chad Everett teaches how Jesus was filled with the Holy Spirit, led by the Spirit, and sent with authority to bring good news to the brokenhearted, the captive, and the oppressed. The same Holy Spirit that filled Jesus now lives in every believer. Because of that, every follower of Christ is sent with a purpose — to preach the gospel, pray for people, and bring the hope of the Kingdom of God wherever they go. Too often the Church has shifted from “go and preach the gospel” to simply “come and attend.” But Jesus' command has never changed. The Great Commission was never meant to become the great suggestion. Jesus has given His followers authority and power through the Holy Spirit. The question is not whether we are equipped — the question is whether we will say yes to being sent. This message will challenge you to stop living as a spectator and begin living as someone filled with the Spirit, sent on mission, and accountable to God. The Roads Church: https://theroads.church
Send us your feedback — we're listeningPsalm 91:1 — Jesus, Cover My Midnight Hours With Your Shelter and Push Back Every Fear That Tries to Rise in the Dark. Live From London, England São Paulo • Porto • Luanda • Praia • Mendoza Themes: sombra protetora • descanso seguro • coragem na madrugada protective shadow • safe rest • courage in the night Psalm 91:1 (NIV): “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” Luke 10:19 (NIV): “…I have given you authority… to overcome all the power of the enemy.” Jesus, as this new cycle opens and the midnight hour settles around us, we stand beneath Your shelter, beneath that sombra protetora where fear loses its voice. The night often brings its own weight—quiet worries, rising shadows, thoughts that wander into places we do not want to revisit. Yet Your Word says that those who dwell in Your presence, those who stay near Your heart, find descanso seguro, a safe rest deeper than anything the world can offer. Tonight we draw near. We rest in the truth that You have given us autoridade espiritual, authority to stand, authority to resist fear, authority to declare peace over our own hearts. Push back every shadow that tries to rise. Silence the voice of dread. Bring coragem na madrugada, courage in the midnight hour, into every listener in São Paulo, Porto, Luanda, Praia, Mendoza, and across the nations where this prayer moves. Jesus, we trust that Your presence is a shadow that covers, protects, and steadies the restless soul. Let the heart that lies awake find softness again. Let the mind that spins find stillness again. Let the person who feels alone discover Your nearness—tão perto, tão presente—so near, so present, so faithful. Where fear has tried to grip, break it. Where worry has tried to rise, calm it. Where the enemy has whispered lies, silence them with Your truth. Tonight, Jesus, wrap us in the gentle strength of Your shadow. In Matthew 10, Pastor Karl highlights a pivotal transition in Jesus' ministry, where the disciples move from merely observing and admiring Him to being sent out as active participants in His mission. Jesus calls the Twelve, empowers them with authority to heal, cast out demons, and proclaim the kingdom of heaven, and then commissions them to go first to the lost sheep of Israel. This chapter marks a hinge point in the Gospel: following Jesus is not just about learning His teachings or attending gatherings—it demands responsibility, urgency, and full participation in sharing the good news.Jesus is strikingly honest about the cost. He instructs the disciples to travel light, relying completely on God's provision rather than personal security or contingency plans, emphasizing that dependence on Him is central to discipleship. He warns of inevitable resistance: they will face opposition from culture, religious leaders, and even family members, as allegiance to Him can divide households and bring persecution. Yet, Jesus promises divine help—the Spirit will speak through them in moments of trial—and calls for wise, innocent endurance, urging believers to flee persecution when possible not for self-preservation, but to reach more people with the gospel.Ultimately, Pastor Karl challenges the church: a faith that costs nothing accomplishes nothing. The true disciple pledges exclusive allegiance to Jesus, accepting the responsibility to live as radical image-bearers of Christ in the world, no matter the personal price. This message confronts comfort-seeking Christianity and invites every listener to decide if Jesus is worth the cost of true following.Watch all our sermons on our youtube channel "Flipside Christian Church"Join us in person 8:00am, 9:30am & 11:00am every Sunday morning.37193 Ave 12 #3h, Madera, CA 93636For more visit us at flipside.churchFor more podcasts visit flipsidepodcasts.transistor.fm

Beatty explains why faithful believers can pray for years and remain stuck, and how confusion about spiritual authority, repentance, and the legal structure of healing can quietly block progress.Rather than chasing hype, this discussion walks through how healing unfolds step by step within a biblical framework. We also explore:• Why healing prayer sometimes feels ineffective • The difference between demonic influence and wounded parts of the human soul • Why treating those two realities the same causes confusion • Authority-based healing vs. gift-based healing • The role of repentance in restoring freedom • Challenges in the modern Church's approach to deliverance and healingIf you've ever thought, “I pray, but nothing changes,” this episode will give you clarity, language, and a practical path forward rooted in Scripture.➡️ Get Beatty Charmichael's book here: https://theprayeroffreedom.com/❤️ SHOW YOUR SUPPORT - LINKS BELOW...Email me: https://www.karlgessler.com/deliverance➡️ DONATE ➡️ Join our team!https://www.givesendgo.com/karlgesslerfamilybandhttps://www.patreon.com/karlgesslerhttps://cash.app/$KarlgesslerSocial Media➡️Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100089357625739➡️Telegram - https://t.me/FaithoftheFathers➡️Truth Social - https://truthsocial.com/@UCLOvq6O4aIXLrkKxwXkq3uA#repentance #healing #deliverance #prayeoffreedom #beattycarmichaelSupport the show
How did Jesus function when He walked the earth — and what does that mean for us today? In this message, Chad Everett walks us through Luke 4, Luke 9, Philippians 2, and 2 Corinthians 4 to answer a crucial question: How did Jesus operate — and how are we meant to live now? Jesus was fully God. Yet He chose to empty Himself of divine privilege and function as a man anointed by the Holy Spirit. He moved in dunamis (power) and exusia (authority), not independently, but in submission to the Father through the Spirit. He did not operate from self. He operated from relationship. Then He gave that authority to His disciples. This message centers on one powerful truth from 2 Corinthians 4: 7: “We have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.” The authority of Christ is not distant. It is not something we are waiting to fall from heaven. It is the reality of Christ dwelling within us. The question is not whether the treasure is present. The question is whether we are living from it. The Roads Church: https://theroads.church
Guest Speakers Lori and Barry Byrne from Nothing Hidden Ministries share on taking spiritual authority as sons and daughters of God.
Our culture has undervalued the significance of regularly gathering together for meals in our homes—something that impacts the spiritual formation of our families and the unfolding purposes of God. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses three biblical passages where Jesus teaches His audience "table manners": what it means to be a host or guest in someone's home. Hospitality, humility, and mercy are crucial components of expressing our faith, especially around the kitchen table, and Pastor Allen stresses the importance of valuing people and their invitations. God is inviting us to a more vivid faith—how will we respond?
Hebrews 13:17- "Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you."

Not emotional faith. Not borrowed faith. It's how to build a life the devil cannot shake.
“Are you going to return the same way you came, or are you going to return in the dunamis of God?” In this message from the Spiritual Authority – Restored In Christ sermon series, Chad Everett walks through Luke 4 and reveals how Jesus modeled spiritual authority through the power of the Holy Spirit. After confronting temptation in the wilderness, Jesus did not return the same — He returned in the power of the Spirit, operating with both dunamis (miraculous power) and exusia (authority and jurisdiction). This teaching shows how Jesus responded to temptation with the Word — “It is written” — choosing truth over the lies of the enemy that often come through thoughts and feelings. From there, we see Jesus teaching in the synagogue, rebuking unclean spirits, healing sickness, and demonstrating that spiritual authority is not theoretical, but active and practical. Chad also challenges the Church to guard against familiarity and religion that dulls spiritual hunger. The goal is not entertainment or information alone, but training — equipping believers with skill to walk in the authority Jesus restored through the Holy Spirit. This message is a call to return differently — not in human strength, but in the power and authority God has made available to every believer. Unless a believer responds to the nudge of the Holy Spirit and prays, God cannot intervene in a situation where Satan is seeking to steal, kill, and destroy. God must go through the church to work in the earth. In this message, Pastor talks about 3 things that Christians must do to exercise spiritual authority in their prayers.

This conversation is for Reiki practitioners, energy workers, coaches, activists, and anyone building something real in a world that wasn't fully designed for it. It's for people who can feel the gap between what's possible and what's happening, and who are ready to stop trying to riseabove the world and start actually integrating with it.We are being asked as energy workers to embody presence, wholeness, and sovereignty while living inside systems engineered for fragmentation. This isn't a personal failing - it's a structural contradiction that's impacting millions of Reiki practitioners and spiritual seekers right now.In this episode, we explore the five paradoxes that arebreaking Spiritual practitioners: the gap between witnessing wholeness and living in a culture obsessed with optimization, the collision between personal sovereignty and systems requiring external permission, the mismatch between energy literacy and a world built on incongruence, the tension between collective consciousness and radical individualism, and the impossible task of staying present in an infrastructure designed for your distraction. But here's what changes everything: these paradoxes aren'tproblems to transcend. They're the exact place where real transformation happens - if you understand them.Your spirituality isn't separate from your business. Yourauthority isn't granted by external systems. Your presence matters more than your performance. And the work you're meant to do doesn't require you to disappear whilst healing.By the end of this episode, you'll discover:-The Five Paradoxes Breaking Spiritual Practitioners -Why you might feel fragmented even though you practice presence, and how these aren't character flaws but structural misalignments between what you've been taught and the systems you're living within.-The Foundation Shift from Transcendence to Integration -How the old spiritual model of "rising above" the material world is actually keeping you stuck, and why real sovereignty is built in the world, not above it.-How Your Business Is a Spiritual Act - Why pricing well, setting boundaries, marketing your work, and building sustainable income aren't separate from your healing practice - they're extensions of it, and acts of reclaiming your authority.-The Difference Between Spiritual Bypassing and RealTransformation - How to stop trying to meditate your way out of real structural problems (I tried this for a long time!) and start building real, grounded structures that honor both your spirituality and your humanity.-What Reclamation Actually Looks Like - Concreteshifts in how you show up, how you build, how you claim authority, and how you create spaces where real consciousness can actually emerge - not throughtranscendence, but through integration.Spirit-led Reiki Pathway: https://www.reikiredefined.com/spirit-led-reiki-pathwayLifting the Veil on Reiki free workshop: https://www.reikiredefined.com/lifting-the-veil-on-reiki/Free community: https://www.reikiredefined.com/free-community/Get my free updates straight to your inbox: https://reiki-redefined.kit.com/6629991732You'll find me most on Tiktok @reikiredefined and the same handle on Instagram

Interviewed with great care by my wife, this conversation is not about outrage—it's about understanding, healing, and hope. She opens up about how she escaped that environment, how her faith was tested, and how God ultimately led her out and began restoring what was broken. Now, she's using her platform to help other women identify red flags, leave abusive situations, and reclaim their voices. This episode exists to remind listeners that abuse in the church is real, that silence protects predators—not survivors—and that God is not found in manipulation or control, but in truth, freedom, and healing.Listener discretion is advised due to the sensitive nature of this conversation. If you have experienced sexual abuse or sexual violence, please know this:What happened to you was not your fault.God is near to the brokenhearted, and He sees what others tried to hide. You do not have to walk through healing alone. What if the greatest obstacle to spiritual authority isn't the enemy—but ourselves? In this message, Chad Everett continues the Spiritual Authority — Restored in Christ series by addressing one of the most subtle and dangerous temptations believers face: the pride of life. Drawing from Luke 4, this teaching examines how Jesus was filled with the Holy Spirit, led by the Spirit, and trained through temptation—and how His response reveals the path to true spiritual authority. This sermon challenges a common mindset in modern Christianity: living independently from God while still expecting His blessing. Through the temptation narrative, Chad shows that the pride of life is not merely arrogance or boasting, but self-rule—making decisions apart from God, trusting our own understanding, and asking God to bless choices we never submitted to Him. A key focus of this message is Psalm 91 and how Scripture can be misunderstood or misused when it is separated from relationship and obedience. Satan himself quoted Scripture to Jesus, but left out the condition of dwelling in God's presence. This teaching calls believers to examine whether they are pursuing the promises of God or the person of God. The Roads Church: https://theroads.church

What do you do when spiritual advice about your relationship leaves you feeling anxious, confused, or afraid of getting it wrong? In this episode of When You Don't Know, we talk about the tension many Christians experience when church leadership doesn't support their relationship — not for biblical reasons, but because of feelings, preferences, or a perceived “lack of peace.” For many, this creates deep relationship anxiety and the fear that disagreeing with leaders means disobeying God.We explore:• The difference between spiritual guidance and spiritual control• Why anxiety often shows up when obedience to leaders is confused with obedience to God• How God actually leads His people — and why fear, pressure, and urgency aren't part of His voice• What healthy spiritual leadership looks like in dating and relationshipsIf you've ever felt torn between your faith, your relationship, and your own discernment, this conversation is for you. You're not rebellious. You're not faithless. And you're not broken for wanting clarity and peace.
This episode explores the biblical concept of the “secret place,” emphasizing intentional solitude and prayer as the primary arena where identity as sons and daughters of God is formed, drawing from Matthew 6 and Psalms to show that true spiritual transformation does not happen in public, but in hidden communion with the Father. The speaker contrasts modern culture's fixation on noise, self‑promotion, emotional validation, and constant stimulation with God's invitation to silence, obedience, and submission, teaching that the secret place is not for self‑care or emotional relief, but for dying to self and becoming like Christ. Through personal stories, Scripture, historical Christian voices, and psychological research, the episode argues that freedom from fear, clarity of calling, and spiritual authority are birthed through faithful, disciplined time alone with God, where trust is built, idols are dismantled, and God's will takes precedence over personal feelings or ambition
The purpose of prayer and your purpose are connected. God created us for fellowship with him, and to have dominion over the earth. Join us as we discover how our purpose as people and the purposes of prayer are connected. We discuss how spiritual authority works and how to use it.

What is the purpose of the local church? Not entertainment—but training. Church attendance is the door—but once you're in, there's training that needs to take place. In this message, Chad Everett lays out a clear mission: to enter people into the fullness of Christ and train warrior disciples—not just church attenders. Coming to church is the door. Discipleship is what happens after you walk in. Using Luke 4 as a masterclass from Jesus, Chad shows how spiritual authority is trained, strengthened, and activated. Jesus was filled with the Holy Spirit, led by the Holy Spirit, and anchored in the Word of God—and He models how to stand firm when the enemy questions identity, offers counterfeit shortcuts, and attempts to trap us through offense. You'll hear why biblical fasting isn't religious hype or church tradition, but normal discipleship: a time of consecration where we replace physical food with spiritual food—prayer and the Word—so our spirit leads instead of our flesh. And you'll be confronted with a defining truth: the enemy's strategy is deception, not overpowering. When we know who we are in Christ—and who Christ is in us—the enemy loses ground. If this message stirred something in you, respond to it. Ask the Holy Spirit where you've been listening to your flesh instead of following His lead. Identify any lie or offense that's been limiting your spiritual authority—and answer it with God's Word. Choose one place this week to say no to the enemy and yes to God. What does it really mean to walk in spiritual authority? In this episode, I sit down with my Aunt Ruth — pastor, counselor, and teacher — to talk about identity, intimacy with God, and living with confidence rooted in Christ. We explore why authority isn't about performance or perfect prayers, but about knowing who you are as a daughter of God. This conversation touches on unanswered prayers, singleness, disappointment, and learning to trust God even when life doesn't unfold the way you expected. If you're longing to walk boldly in your faith without striving, this episode will encourage and ground you. "We will be led by whatever spirit that we are full of." — Pastor Chad Everett In this message from Spiritual Authority – Restored In Christ, Pastor Chad Everett walks through Ephesians 4: 11–13 and Luke 4: 1 to show God's design for the local church: not to entertain people, but to enter-train them—bringing believers into the fullness of Christ and equipping them to live as mature disciples Monday through Saturday. You'll hear a clear, Scripture-based foundation for spiritual authority and why the key isn't willpower—it's being filled with the Holy Spirit. Pastor Chad traces a powerful progression through Acts, showing the Holy Spirit coming upon believers to empower them, and calls the church back to reverence, altar response, and real transformation—not just “a good service.” If you've been battling repeated patterns, unwanted thoughts, or feeling spiritually stuck, this message will help you see the issue differently: a “filled” problem becomes a “led” problem—and Jesus wants to fill you again. In this Christmas message, Pastor Chad Everett continues the conversation on spiritual authority by pointing us to the manger. This sermon traces God's plan of redemption from Genesis to the birth of Jesus and reminds us that salvation is not something we do, but someone we receive. Christmas is the moment God came near, and salvation has a name—Jesus. The Roads Church - https://theroads.church

Spiritual Authority-Error Vs Truth
When sexuality and religion overlap, it is easy to get stuck looking for the “right” answer from your church or leaders. If you have ever found yourself searching for approval about masturbation, sexual decisions in your relationship, or whether quitting porn fits your faith tradition, this episode will help you understand why that search feels so confusing. The real question is not what your church says. It is whether you feel aligned with God and with yourself. In this episode, I talk about developing your own spiritual authority instead of relying on external voices that often contradict each other. You will hear what it looks like to move away from black and white thinking and into principle-based living, where you get clear on the sexual values you want to live by and make decisions from integrity rather than fear. This shift opens space for nuance, compassion, and choices that truly support your wellbeing.
