This podcast was created to encourage, inspire, & remind ya to always have a healthy perspective on things. Most of these recordings are just spontaneous, a freestyle podcast if you will. I share my daily life, thoughts, faith, love for sports, and anything else that comes to mind . I share my experiences, things Ive learned in life, and even mistakes Ive made so maybe you can avoid em. I just love ppl, so I wanna do what I can to help anyone in any way. I hope u enjoy. just a random tangent from the heart before bed. the words point to the answer for any negative thing in our life, no matter what it is, whether internal or external…. the answer is JESUS. i get it … cliche right ? but He truly is the GOD of all Encouragement (2nd corinthians 1:3). That same verse calls Him the Father of all COMPASSION. The Lord wants to uplift us all. HE has the ability and willingness to bring life to dead things. fleeting hearts, broken minds, shattered relationships, can all be RESURRECTED. May we be humble enough to experience it, experience HIM. be blessed
the PARABLE of the Prodigal Son is famous for revealing the AMAZING LOVE AND COMPASSION OF GOD for all of us. a parallel of a people who have gone astray and seeked for life away from HOME. only to end up at a dead end. But this parable also reveals and exploits the negative mindset and prideful heart of the elder brother. The one who didn't have any compassion. the One who was Self righteous. it's sorta wild how the elder brother that “stayed by his side”, was actually just as lost as the younger brother . the Good news is, GOD still calls both of them “son”. So no matter how we feel, whether feeling guilt in the pigslop, or self righteous sitting with perfect church attendance and “have never done wrong”… there's mercy for both parties. God is good. take a listen as i relay some of Tim Kellers words and thoughts on this parable of Jesus, in Luke 15.
this morning I just kept picturing GOD like a fire after trekking thru the cold dangerous wilderness. a place to warm ya up if u will… but then i was like wait, He's more than just the fire to keep ya warm… He's more like a cabin. with warmth. food. shelter. companionship inside. warm clothes for the journey ahead after ya refuel…. the cabin to protect us from the wilds beasts out there, those wolves and bears of depression and fear and anxiety and whatever else that's negative that wants to plague us…. GOD is the ultimate place of warmth for soul, peace of mind, and safety of life…. be blessed.
“if ya stay ready, ya ain't gotta get ready”!a great bar and line from the theologian andy mineo in the song ‘KNOW THATS RIGHT'… (just kidding, he's not a theologian… he's actually a christian hip hop artist. that phrase tho is true… the parable of the ten virgins is a reality of the future… that moment is gonna catch a lot of ppl off guard. BUSYNESS and DISTRACTION is a common problem among todays believers. we easily can get sucked into a form of “sleeping/slumbering”, aka focused on the wrong things. let it be far from us! the parables in matthew 24 and 25 are there to keep us in check. keep us in line. sometimes those “scary” verses, passages, can be really good for us, in this life, and for all of eternity …. eternity… eternity…. aka FOREVERRRRRRRRRRR . click play, let it ride. be blessed

met someone with a ton of anxiety/fear about the state of current world situations. i have some empathy cause i know what anxiety can feel like… but at the same time, we sorta can just be doing it to ourselves by focusing on the wrong things, neglecting GOD, and having our priorities outta whack. GOD has CRAZY peace for us… but if we don't allow GOD in, n shift our focus to Him, peace will be elusive, and it'll be sought in forms of alcohol , drugs , and/or xyz, which only comatose…
just finished a 36 hour fast. so i hit on that. also, i just got done reading this Phenomenal book “practicing the Way” by John Mark Comer. i talk just a tiny bit about the book. it was very insightful. i loved Comer's writing, his humor, and his raw honesty. the dude has incorporated great wisdom thru out time from many people of the faith. i believe His book will help any believer on their journey of faith. it'll help cultivate a stronger and true genuine relationship with God, and possibly shake off the religiousity that some folks might be living. i hope this recording can bless u in some form or fashion…. but honestly , peep the book !

a moment with my baby girl eliza just now, reminded me of How deep GODS FIERCE LOVE is for us all. this moment of deep love and gratitude inspired this random tangent. I once learned an acronym from an old pastor… “TAWG” . TIME ALONE WITH GOD, and how VALUABLE IT IS. i also briefly hit on the idea and importance of finding that solitude , and using that quiet space for Prayer and LISTENING to the Scriptures. also, a quick breakdown of the famous “LORDS PRAYER”. in a busy, distracted, fast paced world … its still important to BE STILL and set your FOCUS on the GIVER OF LIFE AND, the GOD who is LOVE. “be led by still waters, lie down in green pastures…(psalm 23)… the FATHER has everything we need, whether that be peace and strength, hope and healing, comfort , we just need to learn to tap in more often. …. May we give him the time of day so we can receive whatever He has for us….
this book i'm reading “Practicing the Way. BE WITH JESUS. BECOME LIKE HIM. DO AS HE DID” by John mark comer has been great. and what he's written Hits a lot on the head…..the RED LETTERS are clear when you study them. and it's important that we are not self deceived. there's a lotta “christian's” apparently in the world….but how many consider themselves HIS APPRENTICE?! HIS STUDENT? HIS DISCIPLE ?? what a privilege it is for real …. all the benefits of FOLLOWING THE CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE…. FOLLOWING THE WAY…. it's more than beliefs…. it's more than do's and don'ts…… it's A WAY OF EVERY DAY LIFE…. HIS HAND IS AVAILABLE TO WHOEVER WANTS TO TAKE IT…..
2024, and the past is over. we only have the Present, which dictates our future (on earth and eternity). let the new YEAR bring in the NEW you!! a NEW PEACE, a NEW real tangible JOY, a NEW PATIENCE, a NEW KINDNESS… some NEW STRENGTH, a NEW PERSPECTIVE, some real HEALING, whether it's in your heart, mind, body, or relationships. most of all, may you experience a NEW LOVE!!!! a new love for yourself , for others, but most of all, a new and deeper love for GOD. my prayer is that you embrace the CRAZY NEVER ENEDING LOVE that GOD has for you. breathe it in every morning, evening, every week, all of 2025 , and every year after all the way thru eternity!!! be blessed. i love ya world ❤️

had to clarify something from the youtube short #2 .IF we receive HIS light… it'll naturally reflect to those around us. but if we are in the darkness, there will be no fruit, and nothing will get done for the Kingdom. nothing will be done for eternity. what did He mean “shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life ?” could darkness be idolatry ? pride ? slothfulness? …. and what does it look like to have “the light of the life?” fruit of the SPIRIT? be blessed

i let part my new favorite song play in the beginning (Hard fought hallelujah by Brandon Lake). the lyrics are very fitting for my family & I, as we go thru this rough szn of life. i don't think there's anything harder in life than to watch your loved one's go thru suffering. sometimes ya gotta fight thru the pain n suffering and questioning, and just find a reason(s) to PRAISE GOD, cause HE doesn't change. i will never stop prayingX never stop believing for the good outcome. i appreciate the recent prayers of all friends and family . side note: there is some serious peace in His presence. be blessed. love ya world ❤️
just got the news that mom dukes now has cancer too. i won't stay stuck on the problem, the obstacle. i will trust God to see her thru it. may the Lord get us all thru all of the B/S life throws at us. our faith will be tested, but GOD is right beside us, every moment of every day, now and FOREVER .

still branching some thoughts off the “Fear of the Lord” as i read this book. It goes hand in hand with the idea of HOLINESS. may we not be like most ppl who are so non -chalant about the ALMIGHTY GOD. may we be people striving to Live a clean and pure and holy life, as He calls us to. be blessed
life's got curveballs for days….. and without God, i can see how it can get bleak, dark, and hopeless… BUT WITH GOD, there is TRUE PEACE, TRUE LIFE, TRUE HEALING, DIRECTION, and even the darkest of situations can get brought back to life. a walk in the erie canal, yes in and not on, got me thinkin about the valley of dry bones in ezekiel 37. if the Lord can bring me , my marriage, and millions of other broken hearts/ minds/ relationships back to life, He can do it for anyone. always hold on to hope, and press into the Lord. He wants us all by HIS side✝️
may we NEVER be like them pharisees… giving off a Projected image to have a nice perceived image, all the while knowing the ACTUAL IMAGE wasn't as Godly as it looked. always be authentic with GOD, self, and others.

All over the Word we see it, but do we understand it ? do we Fear God? there really is NOTHING to fear outside of Him… the WORD says “the FEAR OF THE LORD is the Beginning of Wisdom” . may this recording help unpack it a little. Pops said this one pastor said DEVOTION is the thing GOD cares most about. i thought that was interesting. I woulda guessed Obedience, but after doing a little googling and searching, it makes sense . Cause Obedience will stem from our Devotion if it's real. if it's not real, it's just rituals/ goin thru the motions/ smoke n mirrors . choosing to OBEY outta love, not duty. be blessed ✝️

I was reading some parts of psalms , some of the gospel, and some Ephesians this morning, and this passage sorta resonated with me…. putting off the former self, and putting on the New self… aka , allow God to clean our hearts n minds, change some habits, and then put something different inside us (HIS Holiness and Righteousness, Fruits of the Spirit, Truth….and more) be blessed world
A divine encounter just now with a stranger, which is CRAZY IRONIC considering the message i listened to today, which was derived from Luke 10:25-37. take a listen… and embrace the CHALLENGE, of living like the GOOD SAMARITAN to those around you, and those you encounter. “HELPING OTHERS”….. JESUS was about that life… and I hope we are too. You will be blessed and rewarded for living like that. 2nd Chronicles 15:7 “ But as for you, be strong and do not lose courage, for there is a REWARD for your work.”
