Many mistake the idea of Back to Jerusalem as a movement of the Chinese church to evangelize Jerusalem. However, Back to Jerusalem is the goal of the Chinese church to evangelize the unreached peoples from eastern provinces of China, westwards towards Jerusalem. Our organization partners with the church of China to not only evangelize the religiously oppressed areas of Asia, but to also train and send Chinese missionaries into the unreached regions of the globe. This podcast is a publication of the 501(c)(3) organization Back To Jerusalem and chronicles our experiences from the field.

    Ivy Insights

The Back to Jerusalem Podcast is undeniably an incredible podcast that has captured the hearts of many listeners, including myself. It's a much-needed voice in the Western Evangelical church and offers unique insight into missions, Christianity, the Middle East, China, persecution, and so much more. The host, Eugene Bach, brings an energetic and enthusiastic disposition to each episode that is both captivating and refreshing. His passion for spreading the gospel and supporting a persecuted church shines through in his conversations with guests.

One of the best aspects of this podcast is its ability to break down barriers and challenge listeners to take action. The mission perspective presented is both unique and cutting-edge, offering a fresh take on global Christianity. Through interviews and discussions with guests from around the world, we are given a glimpse into what God is doing on a grassroots level, providing rich insights into our current times. The episodes are filled with raw and down-to-earth content that keeps listeners engaged and eager for more.

However, there are some drawbacks to this podcast that should be addressed. Lately, there have been instances where the host dominates the conversation and doesn't give his guests a real chance to talk. While what he has to say is important, it can often feel repetitive as he reiterates points made in prior episodes. This leaves little room for guest input unless they interrupt him. Additionally, after each conversation, the host tends to do a monologue recap of his own thoughts without giving enough opportunity for the guest's perspective to be fully heard.

In conclusion, despite these minor shortcomings, The Back to Jerusalem Podcast remains an incredible source of inspiration and education for those seeking a deeper understanding of global Christianity and missions work. Eugene Bach's passion and enthusiasm are infectious, making each episode an engaging experience. I have personally learned a great deal from this podcast and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to expand their worldview and gain valuable insights into spreading the gospel in challenging circumstances. May Jesus be proclaimed to the ends of the earth through podcasts like this one.
