I'm joined by Jeff Garlin, a man with a big heart and a lot to say. You'll know him from Curb and loads of other stuff. I had this chat a little while back. I'm never truly sure why I go months without doing a show. I think it has a lot to do with the fact nobody reaches out to me to talk to me about the show in anyway at all and for the amount of work I put into the pod verses the love I get back it's not worth it. This will likely be the last show for another long while. I'm only doing this one to support my friend Tristan who has got a great short filn coming out more of that now. Tristan is the first guest on the podcast. We talk about his involvement with Kingsdown. Kingsdown is a short film that takes aim at the immigration crisis currently unfolding across the southern shores of the U.K. It's a fantastic short film. The film comes out weekend 26th Oct and do search for it and support it. @limehousepod thelimehousepodcast@gmail.com

However Mark did and does. He's been there from touring with Blur to breaking some of the coolest most musically inspired bands of several generations. He's had the highs and lows that really makes for a bloody brilliant story. He's currently writing his ass off so find his work! He's got an awesome unique ear. @limehousepod - twitter If you like the title music then check out The DIY Cravings on Soundcloud Take care and enjoy what's left of your sanity. This week I catch up with Julian Sancton. Julian has written a remarkable book about the Beligica exploration 1897 and the journey she and her crew went on in search of the magnetic south. This is a story of triumph over disaster and disaster over triumph. Julian wrote part of this during lockdown so it's quite a fitting read at times. Also it's not a hard sell this book; it simply romps along bringing an entirely new dimension to exploration that has yet been told. It's cinematic in its scale and mind blowing in its brutality. I had to read this book after Michael Palin told me too and I'm glad I did. If you haven't then I do recommend HMS Erebus a book about a ship by Michael Palin and also Endurance the story about Shackleton's truly heroic escape from the jaws of Antartica. It was a heroic age with men from so many different backgrounds and mindsets.

So it was a complete pleasure speaking with Kelly from start to finish. Kelly is presenter for Sky Sports and BBC 5 Live. She's worked as a presenter for many years now and still provides fresh and interesting coverage. We crossed many different subjects from Sexism, homophobia and racism to presenting for Sky Sports in a very masculine industry. It's less a talk about the tactics of the game{ football} and more a focus on her life and her thoughts of the industry in which she works. The final, the finale , the very end, the last part in the three part Tom Petty Deep Dive series. I've saved a wonderful, kind ,warm and intruiging man for the last episode. Mr Paul Zollo, music journalist and author. He spent a year interviewing Tom every Saturday at Tom's pad in California for his utterly compelling 'Conversations with Tom Petty book. He was given access to some really very personal and candid accounts of Tom's life and much more. We had a beautiful talk, he's a lovely guy and you'll get plenty from it. It's been a real privilege bringing you this mini series and I hope you've connected or re-connected with Tom's work just as much as I have. Here is your second installment of the Tom Petty deep dive mini series. This time it's a far more reflective chat about Tom with his official biographer Warren Zanes. His book 'Tom Pett'y is one of my favourite reads. It's honest and pretty hard hitting. Warren spent many years off and on interviewing Tom and generally hanging around, touring with Tom and the band. He is also a solo artist himself and has many a cracking tune! I loved this chat and I think we generated quite a good vibe between us. WWW.SOMEDAYSAREDIAMONDS.CO.UK @limehousepod WE ARE ON INSTAGRAM! THE LIMEHOUSE PODCAST!

This week I'm joined by my very old friend Dan Howard. Dan and I go way way back further than time itself. That's not true, it's probably about twenty years. ANYWAY Dan is the presenter, founder and man behind YouTube channel Camp life Bushcraft. So for roughly an hour we talk about modern day business strategy, no we don't. We talk about the outdoor life! It's amazing. It was great to listen to a man that's so relaxed and in love with what he does. It's back to nature once again. Enjoy and DO NOT FORGET to check out his YouTube channel Camp life Bushcraft @limehousepod thelimehousepodcast@gmail.com
