Episode 4 - Self-Writing - gratitudes, action lists, ideas, challenges, & visions In this episode I talk about how carrying a journal has improved my stability, my clarity, and my confidence. There is something really powerful about writing down your thoughts and feelings all in one place. This really helps with practicing flow and bringing balance to your life. It allows you to mentally floss your mind. Keep track of your ideas and inspiration. Defeat negativity with positive affirmations and so much more. This is a super power. And I am here to share my experience with you! Includes ideas from Sadhguru & Michael Singer.
In this episode I share my experience with this idea of Letting Go. Letting go is about using the "Yin" principle of using spontaneity and allowing life's challenges to be all for our betterment. Its about the idea of safeguarding against too much over-thinking and punishing ourselves with our negative self-talk, and using the power of allowing oneself to be in the moment to perform and live a better life. This idea of surrender or letting go is what allows us to play better sports, tell better jokes, write better, & live more joyfully. Its the idea that life is a dance rather than a game, and that solving our problems externally is not the best route to sustaining flow and happiness. I talk about my own experiences as well as ideas from David R Hawkins, Echkart Tolle, Oprah, Tim Gallwey (The Inside Game of Tennis) via Steve Kerr & Steph Curry, Ram Dass, and Michael Singer (The Untethered Soul, The Surrender Experiment).
In this podcast, I discuss my personal journey in creating clarity in my life and my business plan. I document my ups and downs dealing with different levels of depression as I lacked a clear focus and consistency to create that sense of purpose and dedication that feels really good. I talk about my process of narrowing down different opportunities in real time. I talk about how one has to make their own decisions, following their own intuition and subconscious mind. Jordan Peterson and Tony Robbins spend a great deal of time and emphasis specifically pointing out the phenomena of dopamine and momentum, and making progress as an essential source of joy. I also discuss how Jeff Bezos, David R. Hawkins, and Steve Harvey talk about appreciating your own gift or passion. I spend time talking about the nature of balancing money and meaning. With major ideas from Gary Vaynerchuk around planting your flag and betting on yourself, as well documenting versus creating as it pertains to social media. Finally, I talk about anchoring ones plan in one's own priorities and beliefs. And as Simon Sinek would say, "start with why?" and work yourself down.
Episode #1 - Understanding my subconscious mind, emotions, memories, and making peace with the past to move forward (ft: Guy Ritchie, Dr. Joe Dispenza, Dr. David R Hawkins) Includes tips on how to forgive yourself and work with your own past so you can be that much more free to pursue your dreams. I mention ideas from Dr. Joe Dispenza, Dr. David R Hawkins, Guy Ritchie, and Julien Himself
