Alas, poor Phoenix, we hardly knew ye... seriously, though, will we ever get a good, faithful adaptation of the Dark Phoenix saga? Does it rise like a flame, or will it be snuffed out - the audience mostly took care of that last bit, but join Bry-Bry, Ben the Marvelous Iggy, and Tazer as they dissect the good and the bad from this film, one category claiming more than the other; don't shy away, though, as we also take this opportunity to talk about the celebrate the larger X-Men franchise that Fox produced - what did we like overall, what did we dislike, what will we miss... these questions and more are answered in this special review episode of the Mighty Warriors Three Marvel Podcast. Finally, in comic news, we're reminded that everything dies as we discuss Jonathan Hickman's impending cancellation of the entire line of X-Men comic books as sacrifice for his own creative vision, coming this July as House of X and Powers of X will be the only X-Men books on the shelves. Ho, ho, ho, loyal listeners of Asgard! If you're reading this, then you're listening to the latest episode of the Mighty Warriors Three Marvel Podcast - the last episode of the year 2018! That's right, interim host Bry-Bry, Tazer, and even Ol' Man Whirlyburger Jon show up to give 2018 the viking funeral that it deserves before entering the Odinsleep! We say good-bye to this year and, oi vey, what a year it has been - do you guys remember that Black Panther came out THIS year? It feels like it came out AT LEAST 2 or 3 years ago! But I digress... in this episode, we look forward to the year of 2019 with hope and glee, and discuss all the things to come that we're excited for in the new year! We review the trailers for Avengers: Endgame and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order! We talk comics - the announcements of Spider-Man: Life Story, Cosmic Ghost Rider Destroys Marvel History, Spider-Man: City at War (a new story adapting the universe of the PlayStation4 game's version of Spider-Man), and the forthcoming story arc in Amazing Spider-Man #16: "Hunted", featuring the return of Kraven the Hunter! We briefly discuss the announcement that The Punisher season 2 is to air on Netflix in January 2019, and cap off our news segment with a round-up of Marvel's presence on the awards circuit this year and in the year to come! In reviews, the boys get all-misty-eyed celebrating the forthcoming wedded bliss of Benjamin J. Grimm and Alicia Masters with Fantastic Four: Wedding Special #1! Then in individual reviews, Jon is won over through sheer force of violence in The Punisher #4, Tazer delves into the depths of confusion with The Best Defense: Namor #1, and Bry-Bry gushes about the artwork (and prays for a Midnight Sons book) in review of The Best Defense: Doctor Strange #1! That's our show, folks, and that's our year - 2018 has come and gone like dust in the wind, and we look forward to a brighter, better year in 2019! In the meantime, though, dont forget to follow us on Facebook at The Mighty Warriors Three Marvel Podcast, follow us on Twitter at @Warriorz3Pcast, subscribe to us on iTunes, and perhaps rate us favorably and leave a kind word in review - that's our Christmas wish! We gather together today to mourn the passing of another icon... Netflix's Daredevil. The Mighty Warriors Three Marvel Podcast welcomes you to hell's kitchen, dear listeners, and if you can't stand the heat... This week, it's only Bry-Bry and Tazer to fight off the darkness, which is proven more difficult as we discuss the unexpected cancellation of Daredevil after a critically renowned season 3. We further address the state of Marvel & Netflix with updates on both The Punisher and Jessica Jones, then dig deep for hope in discuss something new coming into the world: Shang-Chi being developed into a Marvel Studios feature film! We also talk about Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse already being greenlit for both a sequel and an all-female spin-off, and Venom breaking box office records and what that means for Sony's "Spider-Verse" of films moving forward. In reviews, Tazer tackles something different: an animated film, Hulk: Where Monsters Dwell - and, shock of all shocks, he kinda likes it! Then Bry-Bry caps-off Cosmic Ghost Rider with his review of issue #5! Finally, through the magic of live recording, Bry-Bry snap-reviews the debuting-as-we-record new Captain Marvel trailer! What an episode - looks like we kinda turned things around before our last show of the year! Before we go, though, remember to follow us on Facebook at The Mighty Warriors Three Marvel Podcast, follow us on Twitter at @Warriorz3Pcast, subscribe to us on iTunes, and perhaps rate us favorably and leave a kind word in review! Join us next time for our final episode before we viking funeral this hellspawn of a year that is 2018!

Face front, True Believers - today, we gather together to mourn the passing of an icon, and the godfather of Marvel Comics: Stanley Martin Lieber, a.k.a. Stan Lee. Our glorious leader, the Marvelous Iggy a.k.a. Ben, rejoins Bry-Bry, Tazer, and (temporarily) Ol' Man Whirlyburger himself, Jon-Jon, to pay tribute to The Man himself. We get together, ramble off some of his career highlights (which is just about the entirety of Stan Lee's career), and reminisce - specifically, we all share our favorite Stan Lee character, our favorite Stan Lee story, and our favorite Stan Lee cameo in a Marvel movie. Meanwhile, keeping in the spirit of Stan's legacy, we dig in and review some comic books! Together, we review Avengers #700, our Book of the Week and a fitting legacy milestone issue! Then, individual reviews, Ben reviews Uncanny X-Men #1, Tazer reviews Death of the Inhumans #5, the final issue in the event, and Bry-Bry reviews X-Men Black: Emma Frost, the last of the 5-issue limited run. That's our show for this week. Remember to follow us on Facebook at The Mighty Warriors Three Marvel Podcast, follow us on Twitter at @Warriorz3Pcast, subscribe to us on iTunes, and perhaps rate us favorably and leave a kind word in review. Join us again next time, and excelsior!...It wasn't pr0n, was it, Tazer? 😉
