All right, Henshin Heroes! For your bingeing pleasure (or disdain for us eating up your cellular data and device storage), here's “Ultracut #2” with all 12 hours(!) of us discussing Ultraman (1966)! I guess Nathan (The TsuBro) keeping all that exuberance for this franchise bottled up for four years of podcasting just spilled all over the show and broke our format. Enjoy! We're getting our Henshin on for Halloween this year, but... not in the way you'd probably like. Or hope. Yes, on the spookiest day of the year we're tackling one of the most morbid and horrific mangas / hentais of them all, ShindoL's Metamorphosis. Or The Trash Manga Friends Podcast, for short. Each fortnight, our trio of Sean, Mike and Phil read the first two volumes (or equivalent) of a manga, webtoon, manhua or manhwa, analysing every little detail to discuss what's good, what's bad, and what's trash. And believe us, half a decade in, there's a lot of trash to discuss. So come listen to our book club slash neverending existential nightmare! ~ Follow us on social media! To quote Batman, “You wanna get nuts? Let's get nuts!” Here's an ultracut of all six of our episodes covering all 52 episodes of Kamen Rider V3! I don't know why you'd want to spend that much time with Nathan The TsuBro, Chris The Sentai Guy, and Jake The Metal Don, but here you go. It's almost as long a binge as those Discotek blu-rays of the series that I'm sure you preordered. Right?

Gotchard is barreling toward the finish line, seems like a great time to introduce a hidden alchemist cell that knew one of the supporting characters and could have been helpful when the gang was on the run from the Alchemist Society when Geryon took over. But who are we to judge? And the Boonboomgers open a bar? More of this please.

We are back and better(?) than ever with even more Henshin fun. Due to travels and technical difficulties, we are only at half our needed episodes to talk about but will be back soon with more Henshin fun.Join us this week as we talk about the start of the Cannonborg arc with the Boonboomgers, and maybe a perfect episode. We also discuss the end of the Legend Saga and how episode 35 feels like a let down.
You know when you were a kid and smashed all of your actions figures into battle together, even when it did make a ton of sense? Well, thats apparently what Gotchard is doing now, and its...good? The Boonboomgers Mad Rex saga wraps up in a wonderful way that brought a tear to the hosts eye. And Genba proves his place on the team.
All good things must come to an end, and today that is Henshin Men (and to a lesser extent, The Power Trip). Nathan's friends/fans/past guests Christopher Riner and Jake Hambrick return to discuss their favorite episodes and moments from both podcasts—for three minutes! Why's that? Well, the end is not the end, Heroes of the Internet and Listeners with Attitude! This is all being done because both podcasts will do a fusion dance to merge into a new show—Henshin Power V3! Malgams and Hundred and School Plays! Oh my! Join us this week as we get a glimpse of what Kamen RIder Gotchard could have (and maybe should have) been. Also, Mad Rex makes his debut and it spells trouble for Bun Red and the team, but will the addition of Genba as Bun Orange be able to tip the scales in the Boonboomger's favor?

Times they are a boonboom changin'!We are back with more Gotchard (maybe peak Gotchard) as the Kitchen Ichinose Alliance has a major showdown with Geryon and the Abyssal Sisters as the evil plan is unfurled and the Kamen Rider Dread gets even more cool forms. New Riders (for some reasons) and new suits galore this week. Also, Boonboomger continues its hot streak (can three episodes be a hot streak?) as Mira the Bunpink, makes a delivery and cracks us all up.
Henshin! We are here with a surprise episode covering episode 25 of Kamen Rider Gotchard, which we assumed to be the end of an arc, but was it? Iron Gotchard gets down to business fighting WarpTera and Kamen Rider Dread Unicon (the sickest suit in the whole show) and the secrets of Minato's past are revealed...maybe...is that it? Time will tell.---also---BoonBoomChange! The first two episodes of Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger are hear and they are...AMAZING! We watch and recap all the action as we dive into a new branch of Tokusatsu, the Super Sentai. Will it be a regular thing? Who knows? But it's a good time either way.
Welcome to the all-new Just Enough Trope, the podcast where we explore the reasons that your favorite media is the way it is. From movies to TV shows to literature to video games, stories are often built around repeated elements and we're here to talk about them all! Some are maybe magical schoolgirls, some may be hardened biker dudes, some may even be your typical cape-and-tights heroes. But we're all familiar with the type of protagonist that needs a magical item, a word of power, or a bit of magic to gain the strength to fight evil and/or crime. Henshins galore this week on Henshin Fever!
Sorry for our prolonged absence. Sickness and travel always are a kicker this time of year. But we are back with you today and we come bearing fruit. Not one, but two new Kamen Riders joining forces with Gotchard as he fights against Geryon and the Abyssal Sisters to save the Chemies. Join us this week as we cover episodes 18-21, witnessing the birth of Burning Gotchard, Kamen Rider Majade, and Kamen Rider Valvarad. Come bear witness to two of the coolest Rider kicks in the show and one of the lamest. They can't all be winners.Kamen Riders also discussed, Shinobi, Geats, Wizard, Ghost, Saber.
In this YouTube livestream, Nathan is joined by Ryan “The Omni Viewer” Collins (and Ryan's sidekick, Snazzy Chapeau) to discuss the latest Ultra series, Ultraman Blazar. The show is so different from the rest of New Generation Heroes that it could arguably mark the start of a new era for the franchise. The “toyetic” elements are kept to a minimum; the tone is darker; and it bucks some of the typical Ultra tropes. These subjects and more are unpacked in this special crossover episode of Henshin Men!The video version of the stream can be viewed on the Monster Island Film Vault YouTube channel and Omni Viewer's YouTube channel.Follow Henshin Men on Twitter: @HenshinMenPod. New Year, New Chemies, Same Podcast Buddies! After a bit of a break, the Kamen Rider Gotchard coverage continues, with not 1, not 2, but 3 new episodes being talked about today. Things get weird as UFO-X makes another appearance, giving us the silliest Gotchard suit yet, but not if X-Rex has anything to say about it as Super Gotchard X-Rex also makes an appearance to square off with Kamen Rider Dread once again. Its a wild and fun time as the series begins to ramp up and get going somewhere.

Chemies galore and a new Rider make for an eventful two episodes that retroactively make the rest of the season better.
The gang is on location this week as they go to Kyoto for their school trip. It all goes awry when Clotho releases not one but two violent criminals to become Malgams to try and take down Geats. Also Kijiki falls in love.

We did an oopsie here at Henshin Fever and split a two parter. In order to avoid this horribly gauche mistake again, we are just covering one episode of Gotchard today, with episodes 9 and 10 coming in a future episode.Cameron gushes over Geats some more. Chance is deeply moved by Saber. We are also all in on Isaac the AI (Alchemist IPad).
Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeenshin! We are putting on our drivers and getting transformed for new episodes of Kamen Rider Gotchard. We are watching episode 6 and 7. We finally learn a little bit about Spanner, but we have more questions than answers now. Also, we get to part 1 of our first two parter with episode 7. Chance talks about an issue he is having with act structure.Cameron finally watches Geats and won't shut up about it.
It is time for another edition of Henshin Fever, this time with a back t back episode recap, covering episode 4 "Antrooper Labyrinth" and episode 5 "Burn! Fight! Wrestler G!".Cameron makes some bold predictions for the season. Chance reveals some cool Toku suits.Programing change: We are shifting our weekly episode coverage into a biweekly coverage over two episodes. Soon, we will be filling those empty weeks with a Kamen Rider inspired actual play podcast with Chance, Cameron, and a new host joining us for those episodes. We hope you enjoy it.
Henshin Men goes from a reimagining of the original Kamen Rider (1971) to a reimagining of Kamen Rider Black and now back to what Nathan says is the superior reimagining of the 1971 series and manga: Masked Rider: The First (2005). He's joined by aspiring podcaster Jake Hambrick to dive into this unique Japanese superhero film. It borrows more from Shotaro Ishinomori's manga than the TV series, so it lacks tropes like the iconic henshin pose, and has an almost Sam Raimi Spider-Man flair to it. What truly makes it stand out, though, is its theme: the power of beauty. Throw in some great practical effects and solid fight scenes, and you have a winner in the remake debate. This episode was edited by Christopher Riner with Nathan Marchand.Follow Henshin Men on Twitter: @HenshinMenPod. Do you ever come across something and just know, deep in your heart of hearts, that quiet place in your very soul that rings truest about who you are as a person, that it is entirely your thing and it will consume your every waking thought, at least for a little while. "This is my thing now" you might say. Well, if you have been listening along to these episodes as we explore non-struck media while studio executives continue to show how they don't value the people that made all that money they love int he first place, then you know what this is about to say.We here at Boy Meets World Fever have found a new love, not that Boy Meets World isn't something we enjoy anymore, but just like Cory and Topanga at so many points throughout the show, we are broken up, knowing that one day we will get back together (big kiss). That new love is the Japanese Tokusatsu Kamen Rider. This week we are going all in as we review not one, but two Kamen Rider series as Chance and Cameron have just finished watching Kamen Rider Revice and Kamen Rider Kuuga respectively. It is time to Henshin and get ready to rev up your Kamen Ride (Chance told me it is actually called a Kamen Machine, but thats not as fun) and join us as we celebrate the things we love and that are not stuck because of American Hollywood executives. We just want to see you smile.

As this block's capstone, we've got one satisfyingly self-contained episode as the Reading Rangers--yes, that's what they've been called the whole time--have their HQ shenanigans interrupted by an attack on Sylvan Beach's biggest attraction: the beach! As Rowan rushes in, Cy calculates a plan, and Jackie gets creative (for good or for ill), will they be able to withstand... THE SANDMAN? Content warning for immersion in sand. Our color-coded motorcyclists are really in it now! The egotistical Prince Harming, the giant Golden Goose, and even the bumbling Booklice are out in force, and Sylvan Beach's heroes... well, they're not quite as collected as they'd like to be. As Rowan gets in over his head, Cy struggles to win by using his head, and Jackie just does whatever pops into their head, will they manage to combine forces, or will the Evil Queen's minions get their way? Listen and find out! Content warning for brief mention of toppling buildings, threat of being crushed. It seems like a normal day at Sylvan Beach, where the only troubles are house arrest anklets, unrequited crushes, and noisy dirt bikes; however, true evil is about to rear its head once again, and three color-coded bikers will be there to step in! Time to join Rowan, Cy, and Jackie in their battle against evil... this story's just getting started! Content warning for kidnapping, dangerous driving, and vehicular peril. Returning guest Elliot introduces us to Henshin!, a game about flashy but flawed heroes who fight monsters in color-coded and toyetic costumes! Listen as he, Owen, Elly, and Jonix lovingly cobble disparate themes together for their team, their team's enemies, and the unsuspecting town that they fight in. Who's ready to explore the magic of beloved childhood fables... ON MOTORCYCLES? Content warning for discussion of insects.
