    The Abba Relationship

The term Abba can bring different ideas to mind, depending on your association with the word, your relationship with your father, and maybe your understanding of what the word even means. Join Magan & Judy as they look at how it was understood by people in Biblical times and some of the ways it's understood by people today. In the end, this word--used only 3 times in the New Testament--was likely used to reveal a side of God that the Jewish people had a hard time seeing: a relational God who wanted to know them.

The title I actually wanted to use for this episode is this: God is Faithful to Judge (And that means we have work to do).  If God is faithful in all of his promises, then, yes, He is faithful to bless us (which we love!), but that means He also must be faithful to judge us (which we don't love so much).  But there are different types of judgement and just what exactly is my role--the Christ-follower's role--in judging others?  Oh, I think we have work to do, and it's not in the judgement business.   Thanks for listening today!  Make sure to connect with me over on social media--I love to hear from you guys!
