Something equally well-received as the HISS is the latest Figura Obscura from the 4Horsemen. Received not nearly as well, but still generating some excitement are the new O-ring Joes from Super7. I'm not sure Joe collectors will be so happy when they are $20+. Something that really impressed the crew this week was an intensely beautiful, or ugly, depending on your view, Threezero's MDLX G2 Megatron. Not sure if it's the piece or it's ridiculous edition size of 50 worldwide. Something that obviously didn't get a great reception was Hasbro's Selfie Series; may it rest in peace.

Remember the William Alan Webb interview where he talked about another author who got red shirted (killed in a novel) by each of the 4Horsemen authors? Well, that author turns out to be Larry Hoy and we were lucky enough to have him as our guest for this episode. And you better believe we asked him about that. Larry tells us about Kempo-Karate with his girls and riding motorcycles on a windy, mountain pass with the whole family. Oh yeah, and we talk about his writing too. To find out more about Larry, check out https://larryhoyjr.wordpress.com/.
Ep. 46: Pope talks all things in the Newz including the WWE Draft, AEW Dynamite and reflect on his recent appearance on The United Wrestling Network which led to his upcoming NWA TV Title Match on Prime Time Live.
Pope and guest analyst Kevin “Shug” Kendrick covers WCW FallBrawl 1996 and do a watch along of the Wargames matchup.
I think a lot of people had some good feels over all of the announcements over the last week. Hasbro is giving us a Black Series for Transformers. Star Wars 3.75 collectors are getting another playset. I loved it, Cliff hated it. What are your thoughts? Nothing for MOTU, so I'll just promote the 4Horsemen's 20th anniversary. My favorite reveal by far all week was a Classified Pimp Daddy Destro.
We are live from Horsemen Country in Roanoke, VA and it's a fun Thunder. Barry Horowitz powerbombs Kanyon, Glacier offers The Cat protection, and Nick Patrick executes the fastest stretcher job in the history of professional wrestling.
We are pretaped from Indianapolis and actually get a halfway decent show. Lots of solid matches with a great cruiserweight title match. Konnan is over, Stevie Ray is in your main event, and La Parka returns!
We are live from Norfolk, VA and the Horsemen are here and things get weird. Other than Stevie Ray, we have no nWo or Wolfpac, so it's straight WCW tonight. Strap in and get ready to laugh with Tony as he does his best to corpse Bobby Heenan's commentary.
Don't worry, Lexington! WCW isn't going to give you the Peoria Treatment! The stars are out, including Eugene (Dinsmore), the Armstrongs, and The Cat...oh also Hogan, Nash, Bret, Luger, Goldberg, etc...plus Stevie Ray main eventing AGAIN, and Lodi brings a fish!
Today on the Toy Power Podcast, we see the return of our Character Spotlight of the under-rated Transfomer, Ultra Magnus. That’s right, he CAN deal with this right now! We cover the most significant incarnations from the toys, animation and comics. The lads then look at some feedback from fan and Patreon Colin Betts all the way from Canada, eh. Ben then presents a 9 Question quiz with a very cool twist. Have Darren, Frank and Trent finally met their match or is their enough knowledge in the room to get them out of this jam? Trent then hops on the Soapbox to – praise a company? Trent, that’s not how Soapboxes work… His “target” are the legendary 4Horsemen and their amazing Mythic Legion figures. Trent doesn’t even HAVE his yet but is already frothing at the mouth at the new gold standard of action figures. Will we have to trank Trent to calm him down? Support the show.
