WA Police have charged a man with manslaughter, after the death of Jack Kinneen, who was killed last month in an explosion as he approached a fire in Pinjar. Kinneen, who was to become a father within weeks, was 4WDing with friends on September 22 when they approached a deliberately-lit fire. The 23-year-old got out of the car to inspect the fire when an explosion occurred, and he died at the scene. The mother of three young children found dead inside a Port Hedland home after a house fire on Tuesday afternoon is assisting police with their investigation. Acting WA Police deputy commissioner Allan Adams said on Wednesday the bodies of three children – aged five months, seven and 10 – were discovered during the operation but declined to comment on where they were found or whether the mother was home at the time. 6PR reporter Anne Naylor shared the latest update on the police investigation with Liam Bartlett on 6PR Mornings.
