Anniversary Special! It was 4 years ago when we uploaded our first episode and to celebrate it, we've decided to open the BBVault and upload our unreleased pilot episode, which we jokingly called "Game Bobu". This recording happened without much planning, after Rob and I went together on a game hunt and then decided to record ourselves talking about the games we just got. We thought it was fun to do, but back then we thought it was lacking, so ended up never releasing it but tried again the following week and that became the first official episode of Bonus Barrel instead of this older one. This is the 200th track in this Soundcloud account and to celebrate this quasi-milestone, this special episode of Bonus BB is a recut of episodes 100, 101, 102 and 103 of Bonus Barrel, where we revealed our top 100 games of all time (from back in November 2016). I've listened to these episodes many times, so editing this one allowed to to fix a few audio and transition issues and also have the whole list in one single run. This will probably the last Bonus BB for a while, making these takes a lot of time and I've run out of pre-recorded material and ideas.

This month we played PaRappa the Rapper on the PS1 and PSP. The game was very divisive among those who played it and had a very high level of difficulty. Some say the controls are broken and others say that the manual explains that the controls are a suggestion. July was a little creepier this year and no that’s not because P1 is back but rather because the club was playing The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. This is certainly one of the darker entries in the Zelda series and has always been cast aside as being too different or too un-Zelda like. Bonus Barrel dives into the world of made-up legends, myths and rumors in video games. There's so many, and because of that, expect this to have more than one part. The topic today covers a lot of pokemon myths: Pikablu, Mew, Down + B, Pokegods, Bill's secret Garden, Missing No and maybe more. Leff is very proper, and so he brings in the rumors of naked Samus and Lara Croft.
