The Super Bowl is coming to New Orleans in just a few weeks, and while the city is buzzing with excitement, the event also raises concerns about human trafficking.The influx of visitors makes the annual event one of the largest for incidents of human trafficking in the country. According to recent data, there were at least 146 arrests related to human trafficking during the 2021 Super Bowl in Tampa. Brandi Bynum, Acting Unit Chief for the Center for Countering Human Trafficking at the Department of Homeland Security, tells us more. Two government advocacy groups with deep rooted histories have decided to merge. For this episode I have a jam packed episode today in that I have all members of the fantastic band Dublin, Drogheda and Slane based band CABL (Ava, Ben, Eoghan and Luke) as well the incredibly talented photographer Matt Gorman who works closely with the band as well doing gig photography for such bands as Gurriers, The Scratch and Slowdive, to name but a few.We're here to chat about the band's EP 'See You in a Year and a Half', released at the beginning of January as well as there sold out headline show in Sin E. The EP is absolutely brilliant and well worth checking out, we're only into February and I can still see it on end of year lists for releases. Si le cerveau de notre espèce humaine est construit de manière quasi-identique d'un individu à l'autre, de petites différences neuronales (d'ordre génétiques ou liés à des facteurs d'adaptation) peuvent exister. Les jumeaux eux-mêmes ont des cerveaux qui présentent des différences :de petites différences mais qui peuvent se traduire par de grandes différences de caractère. Ce sont ces petites différences qui définissent notre singularité : nos émotions et nos aptitudes, comment nous percevons et interprétons le monde, comment nous réagissons aux événements extérieurs, notre appétence à la recherche de sensations ou non. Elles influencent même nos facultés à apprendre une langues étrangère, ou encore la manière dont nous réagissons lorsque une partie de karaoké nous est proposée. Albert Moukheiber est docteur en neurosciences cognitives et également psychologue clinicien. Enseignant en psychologie clinique et psychopathologie il est également l'auteur du livre Votre cerveau vous joue des tours. Ses centres d'intérêt et d'étude sont multiples et couvrent aussi bien les troubles anxieux et la résilience que la flexibilité mentale et la manière dont nous formons nos opinions et comment cela impacte nos prises de décisions. Conférencier, il relaie les dernières connaissances scientifiques autour de nos cognitions et comportements et leur impact dans notre vie quotidienne.
