Welcome to what feels like a monumental episode. I've been hosting Entrepreneurs Get Visible for nearly three years. Now we are consciously rebranding and evolving the business and my personal brand. When you get serious about launching your podcast, you might ask whether you should script your episodes. Today, I'm going to let you into my reasoning behind why I don't believe that it's a good idea.  What You'll Learn: What limitation you impose on yourself if you script out your episodes and how it affects the listener What kind of structure you need to have in order to combat a panic of having a microphone in front of you  Why it's a good idea to bring at least one story to the table in your show Your podcast can become a very powerful front end of your business. After all, business is personal and we choose to spend money with people that we know, like and trust. What we don't trust is someone who doesn't trust their own words, their own knowledge and ability. One of the good things about my experience at the Faber academy is that we get to turn in submissions from our drafts for agents and publishers to look at. It really pushes me to challenge myself, and see just how much my writing career is progressing. Since I began to write about the women in WW2, I've had this urge to claim myself as a writer on my social media accounts. In today's episode, I'll share with you some of the steps I've taken to let the world know there's more to me than just audio and podcasting. I'll be sharing the thoughts and feelings I had behind the scenes when taking this bold step in my writing journey. If you want your podcast to be a valuable asset for your business, you have to get intentional about opening yourself up to different possibilities for you to monetise your podcast. What is polarising content in a podcast and should you do it? What You'll Learn: The reasons that people choose to do polarising content What you need to think about before you decide to put some polarising content out there Why you want to consider the legal situation with the content you're willing to share How you might end up breaking your own insurance by putting out polarising content  So is creating polarising content worth it? Why your listeners are not coming back to listen to your show, and why your numbers might be dropping? This is something that even the most accomplished coaches who are podcasters are struggling with.
