Coach Donnie Quinn is one of the most successful coaches I know.  He's had a tremendous run in women's basketball on both the High School and Collegiate levels.  He's won state championships in both Louisiana and Alabama.   Donnie stands out to me because of his "thinking outside the box" mentality.  He has a very unique formula for attacking a full court press that not enough people utilize.  This nugget alone is worth the listen.

For the podcast, I took the lead for the Seminole Wrap crew in talking with Louisville alum and former athletic department employee Tyler Nunez about the Cardinals for 2022 plus a few recommendations on his top bars and restaurants in the area if you're planning to make the trip. For articles, Ben Meyerson dropped his preview of the Boston College contest and I put together Wake Forest. A quick preview of the Wake Forest one that just dropped today... Deacs look pretty damn good again. All those previews are on the site or dropping today as we wait for football season to finally arrive. In the meantime, head coach Mike Norvell and the rest of the coaching staff continue holding camps and recruits to get some of the best talents in the country on campus. This weekend that included the brother of former Seminoles QB, national champion and Heisman winner Jameis Winston. His brother Jonah is a quarterback and baseball player in Hoover Alabama. Not much in the way of a recruiting profile though. Still cool to see him following his brother's footsteps. The Noles did get a commitment this weekend for their special teams unit. Long snapper Payton Naylor from Tallahassee announced his commitment to FSU on Twitter this weekend. Kohl's professional football camps rate Naylor as a 5-star long snapper in the 2023 class. The Noles also got a visit this weekend from 4-star defensive line commit Keith Sampson. He's been committed to FSU since March but has taken a few other visits recently so good to see the staff keeping up with him. That's pretty much it from a quiet weekend in Noles Nation.
