Hausman and Lumynesynth on the Virtual Sessions presented by The DJ Sessions 6/7/22   About Hausman -    Hausman (a.k.a. Devon Ausman) has certainly made a name for himself in the trance and progressive house scene since his debut EP in 2016. Taking influence from the sounds of deep, groovy house; melodic, uplifting trance; and dark, gritty techno, he aims to make music which blends genres in unexpected ways. With a keen ear for catchy melodic content and captivating harmonic progressions, he seeks to craft his compositions into musical and textural journeys that intend to captivate the listener and spark an emotional connection.    His tracks feature heavy basslines with electro-house influences, immersive atmospheres, and most importantly, beautiful chords and melodies that will catch your ear. Despite his diversity of sound and avoiding restricting himself to the constraints of any one genre, you can always tell when a Hausman track comes on.   Devon began his journey with a solo release on Intricate Records. In 2017 he released with Myon's Ride Recordings and snatched up triple support from Above & Beyond on Group Therapy, which thrust him into the scene's spotlight.    Since then, he's released on labels such as Monstercat, Enhanced, and Armada, remixed tracks by Mat Zo, Dezza, Marsh, and Elevven, and garnered support from Armin van Buuren, Cosmic Gate, Tritonal, and many more. His remix of Problems for Mat Zo & Olan won 3rd place in the remix competition, and was released on Anjunabeats in 2021. Hausman quickly followed up his Anjuna debut with the hugely popular “Control”, and has plans to release more original tracks on Anjunabeats, Monstercat, and Enhanced in 2022.   As a graduate of Berklee College of Music with a degree in Electronic Production and Design, Devon has been exposed to a wealth of knowledge encompassing recording, production, engineering, sound design, and programming.    While his current digital audio workstation of choice is Ableton, he has a great deal of experience working with Pro Tools, Logic, Max, and can find his way around any DAW if needed. He's worked on many projects in various sectors of production, including recording live instruments, audio post-production, scoring, mixing, mastering, as well as music composition and arranging within a DAW.   About Lumynesynth -    Massachusetts native Lumynesynth (Beth Faria) has been singing since before she could talk. She specializes in soothing vocal lines and lush harmonies, drawing from her roots in a cappella and musical theatre. Before starting her singer-songwriter Lumynesynth project, Beth studied Contemporary Writing and Production at Berklee College of Music in Boston. She devoted her time there to studying everything and anything having to do with vocals – recording engineering, writing, arranging, teaching, direction, and anything else she could get her hands on. Following her time at Berklee, she worked as a Production Apprentice with prominent a cappella production company The Vocal Company based out of New York before branching out and discovering her love for songwriting.   Lumynesynth has had notable releases on labels such as Monstercat Silk, Colorize, and When We Dip XYZ. Her music has been featured on Colorscapes Volume 3, Silk music Showcase 07, and Tritonia 318, with support from artists including BT, Dezza, Jacob Henry, Tom Fall, A.M.R, and many more.   While Beth currently works primarily as a singer-songwriter in EDM, she also spends time recording, mixing, arranging, and producing a variety of other genres including pop, classic rock, marching band and drum corps, jazz ensembles, classic and contemporary choirs and a cappella groups, library music, and more.   About The DJ Sessions -   “The DJ Sessions” is a Twitch/Mixcloud "Featured Partner” live streaming/podcast series featuring electronic music DJ's/Producers via live mixes/interviews and streamed/distributed to a global audience. Сегодня я хочу выразить огромную благодарность лейблу, который я открыл для себя в 2010 году, и даже записал тогда 2-х часовой микс для радиошоу "Асфальт" состоящий только из треков этого лейбла.Первую работу Twisted Monkey я подписал туда в 2011 (на саблейбл Протона Particles), а уже в 2012 году мы открыли на базе дистрибьютции Proton, который сегодня обслуживает свыше 1000 лейблов, свой собственный лейбл Intricate Records.Спустя годы основатель лейбла Jason Wohlstadter остается большим профессионалом своего дела. Мы живем на разных континентах, в разных часовых поясах, встречаясь лишь раз в году на конференции ADE в Амстердаме, но нас связывает музыка, уже много лет. Несколько тому назад ( 7 или 8) мы встречались с Андреем Матвеевым, в компании C.A.T. и обсуждали возможности проведения глобального фестиваля электронной музыки, по аналогии с рок фестивалем «Нашествие». Андрей был одним из организаторов этого рок фестиваля. Было желание проводить электронный и рок фестиваль на одной площадке, но развести их по месяцам. У «Нашествия» уже была своя целевая аудитория и свои традиции. У электронной музыки, в России был только «Казантип», и свои локальные городские фестивали. Сложность с которой мы тогда столкнулись, при подготовке глобального ивента, заключалась в том что очень тяжело вытащить «клубную» аудиторию, из городской черты. Эта аудитория не готова была ехать в чистое поле за электронной музыкой. Прошло несколько лет и фестиваль AFP сломал эту патовую ситуацию и стал первым электронным фестивалем в нашей стране, который собирает от 40 000 до 50 000 человек, за один уикенд!И так, позади яркий на события уикенд. С пятницы по воскресенье я был на фестивале AFP 2017.  Прежде всего я хочу Всем поздравить - фестиваль состоялся и прошел успешно. Для меня, это самый крутой электронный фестиваль в России. Тот кто имеет отношения к создания фестивалей, вечеринок - могут оценить какую работу проводит небольшая команда AFP. Это огромный труд. В чистом поле, 4 год подряд, в условиях кризиса, делать мощное и технически сложное  мероприятие. Я от  всей души говорю большое спасибо Виктору Шкипину, Кириллу Dzham, Стасу Егорову, Наде Бульянской и лично каждому участнику команды. Безусловно погода внесла свои корретивы, но об этом чуть позже.Люди. Нужно сказать огромное спасибо «людям будущего». Они своим присутствием, своими эмоциями, своим позитивом проголосовали за фестиваль. Люди из разных городов и разных стран ехали на выступления своих любимых артистов. Эти люди находили новые знакомства и посещали различные пространства где проходили лекции, были спортивные соревнования, изучали современные технологии. Яркие и креативные костюмы, флаги и плакаты. Огромное количество добрых улыбок, счастливых лиц и добрых сердец.Погода Главным трендом конечно этого события были сапоги и дождевики. Мы узнали как они необходимы и полезны). Нижний Новгород - это на Барселона, Майями или Лас Вегас. Мы живем в России. Здесь сложно делать ставку на всегда хорошую погоду. В этот раз фестиваль прошел испытание на сложные климатические условия и выдержал его. Все ехали с небольшим волнением. Как этот ходить по лужам, месить грязь, принимать на себя осадки и тп. Те кто сидел дома язвительно комментировали фото, а те кто приехал - адаптировались и начали думать не о погоде, а о музыке и общении. Я общался с теми кто ехал потом домой. В их глазах светилась радость. Они Все  потом с радостью будут вспоминать как это было. А это было круто!!!Танцполы - Музыка С учетом большого количества воды, каждый танцпол можно представить как водное плавучее средство, которое брало к себе на борт необходимое количество людей)) Как всегда, Main Arena - была во всей «футуристической» красе. Как круизный лайнер она сверкала огнями и представляла  свою развлекательную программу. Танцевальный мейнстрим для тех кто знает о танцевальной музыки по радио и тв чартам и топ 100 DJ Mag. Но есть ощущение что это формат начинает себя изживать, хотя это скорее всего мое субъектное мнение :) Я уже стал резидентом утренних пятничных  рассветов на AFP. Тем приятнее было своим сетом разогнать облака и подарить долгожданное солнце))) Огромное спасибо всем кто был в эти минуты вместе со мной ;) !!!Техно сцена больше напоминала пиратский корабль. Очень крутая площадка, с отличным звуком, дизайном и контейнеров и практически всегда полным танцполом. Этот формат музыки не только доказал свое право на дальнейшее присутствие на фестивале но и расширения линейки артистов. Модная аудитория и потрясающая энергетика.Mashup - единственный танцпол, который имел крышу над головой и место где оттянулись по полной все российские артисты))))Bass Arena - мекка для альтернативной музыки)) Любой фестиваль - живой организм. В его жизни хорошие и сложные моменты. Конечно AFP 2017 стал самым экстремальным за всю его историю проведения, из за погодных условий. Но проект достойно прошел это испытание. Нет в мире идеальных фестивалей. Всегда есть то над чем нужно работать и  что нужно совершенствовать. Уверен что если есть критика, то она всегда идет на пользу. Envotion - Vessel Of Posion классика хаус музыки, которая вышла в свет в 2004 году на легендарном британском лейбле Plastic Fantastic. Не так давно лейбл прекратил свое существование, и команда нашего лейбла Intricate Records приняла решение реинкорнировать эту работу, добавив свежих ремиксов. Для меня лично всегда было честью сделать ремикс на Envotion, а тем более на ту работу, которая в свое время в моей музыкальной жизни сыграла не последнюю роль! И вот момент настал! Дата релиза намечена на ноябрь 2015 года ;) А пока, радиоверсию моего ремикса в студию))
