The Trump White House has remained loyal to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, despite a CIA assessment that MBS was in on the killing. *)Case filed against Assad regime at ICC A group of UK lawyers has filed a case at the International Criminal Court against the Bashar al Assad regime in Syria. The case involves 28 victims of Assad's brutality. The focus will be Syria's top leadership, making this one of the first cases of its kind at the ICC. *)Critics say Manafort got off light A US federal judge has sentenced President Trump’s former campaign chief to 47 months in jail. Paul Manafort was looking at as many as 20 years in prison for fraud. At most, he'll only have to serve 38 months as he's been in jail since June last year. *)50th week of Great March of Return Today marks the 50th consecutive Friday Palestinians are expected to protest in Gaza.
