Life after death is our “only empirical ground for hope” since we all die. We also heard of people who experience near-death events and that too adds to the faith that somehow we escape the bodies of death only to live again in another dimension or plain. Most arguments for life after death or the experiences we hear about are rooted in philosophy and theology. The After Death movie provides hope that even in your last breaths, whatever or whoever is on the other side loves you and does not want you to suffer -- even rescuing you from the darkest points of the end of your existence. Tonight on Ground Zero (7-10pm, pacific time) Clyde Lewis talks with the director and producer of the movie, After Death, Stephen Gray and Jason Pamer about HAPPILY EVER AFTER DEATH. Jason details the emotional journey of bringing this film to life and the incredible stories they captured on film, including visualizations of heaven and hell. He shares the challenges of depicting such profound experiences and how the film blurs the lines between documentary and narrative film. This interview will leave you questioning what awaits us on the other side and inspired to see this film in theaters.

I have a conversation with Jason Palmer, the producer of After Death. I ask him if God leaves signals for us and he shares with us about his desire to be on the frontlines of opening doors of hope and grace for people. The film gathers accounts of those who have died and come back and the perspectives of skeptical scientists in these near death experiences. I respect Jason for his intellect , his willingness to discuss faith, and his warning to parents that they should be prepared to have conversations with their children if they plan to bring them to this film. What does God's Word say? John 14:1-714 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. 2 My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.”Jesus the Way to the Father5 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don't know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know[b] my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”Matthew 25:31-46The Final Judgment31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.' 37 Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? 38 And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? 39 And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?' 40 And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers,[f] you did it to me.'41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.' 44 Then they also will answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?' 45 Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.' 46 And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”Episode 1,180 LinksHttp://Angel.com/Todd4Patriots https://4patriots.com Protect your family with Food kits, solar generators and more at 4Patriots. Jason Pamer is a dreamer--so he knows the power of fear. And he knows the power of love. He's a storyteller whose words weave a tapestry that ignites a fire in your soul. That fire was put in your DNA before the beginning of time. It's the dream God gave you before your earthly life began. Fear will try to kill that dream--or at least stall it, or derail it. And love will protect it. If we let love. This episode is longer than most others and it is way too short to capture the energy and life of the true artist that is our guest. Thank you, Jason Pamer. You loved us well in this conversation. We are honored to offer this gift to our LOVE IS FEARLESS audience. Listen to the episode, friends. Don't just settle for these valuable TAKEAWAYS: Our God-given dreams are invitations to change the world. They will only thrive in a culture of love. Be on the lookout for dream seeds in your key relationships. Be the friend (or the spouse) who listens and questions and encourages and protects the dreams of those you love. "Grasp your dreams. Reach for them. Take appropriate risks. One of the worst things you can die with is potential. Die with failures before you die with potential." “Every top film is going to have an underlying hero’s journey. For many companies, the hero is their customer.” - Jason Pamer (11:30-11:44) Kyle WillisMarketing from the Roosevelt Room Storytelling is a powerful and essential marketing tool. As consumers become better at tuning out marketing messages, businesses that craft compelling stories are more likely to stand out and gain a leading edge over their competitors. Jason Pamer, founder of Thespis Films, has made a living telling stories that elicit emotional responses and compel audiences to take action. The right story engages your target audience. It lets them know they’re being seen, heard, and valued. They become empowered by your products and services and are more likely to tell others about the value you provide. “There is a different story for each potential customer that you have to tell to get people to act.” - Kyle Willis (17:36-17:40) Storytelling is a skill that grows with practice. Maybe you have the ability to command the room, drawing a customer in through a powerful anecdote, and feel like storytelling is one of your strengths. Or perhaps, it isn’t your forte. Either way, there is room for growth, and the best way to hone this vital skill is to practice. The more stories you tell, the better you become at engaging others. Over time, you will find more compelling stories to tell and develop a unique voice for you and your brand. Storytelling is powerful, but it must be in an authentic way. Your audience can sense when something is genuine. And they’re also good at sniffing out marketing messages that don’t put their needs first. Consumers are tuning out the endless number of marketing ploys thrown their way every single day. With each gimmicky ad they grow more skeptical, making it even more important for you to share real stories that match the needs of your target audience. When clients feel that they’re being treated as a human - valued, seen, and heard - they’re going to tell others because that’s unique. It’s not the norm.” - Jason Pamer (24:54-25:06) Crafting a compelling story for your marketing campaigns is both a science and an art. Stories can be integrated into your blogs, social media posts, online and offline advertisements, email marketing, and other channels. The hero’s journey is at the heart of any great story. In your business, the client is the hero looking to achieve some goal or transformation. The journey starts when they leave their world and enter unfamiliar territory filled with insurmountable obstacles. In many films, the hero comes into contact with a wise mentor who provides the guidance needed to reach their goal. Your business plays the role of that guide. Compelling stories come from understanding your clients, what they want, and where they are along the journey. What obstacles will they encounter? How can your business help them overcome those challenges? You engage your audience with your story when you provide ongoing value along each step of the journey. But your actions need to be consistent and match the needs of each person. If you’re struggling to create your own brand story, revisit the “why” behind your business. Prioritize the client as the hero in your story, and give them the tools and resources they need to achieve their vision of success. The better you are at telling your story, the more your clients will want to be a part of your business journey. Listen in as Gabe Lyons shares a conversation with Jason Pamer, filmmaker, producer and writer of the upcoming film, The Heart of Man, releasing in theaters for a one-night only encore special event on October 17. The Heart of Man is a story inviting the sons and daughters of God to leave behind our broken, moralistic and religious way of thinking and relating to God and to others. Once we begin to know who God is (and as a result who we are), we have something to invite the world into. Freedom from performance. Freedom from managing our behavior so we appear acceptable to God. Freedom from our addictions, compulsive behaviors, secrecy and double lives. This film tears the veil of confusion over the church's current identity crisis and enables it to invite the rest of the world to the banquet God is throwing all of us.
