Upcoming Games: June: * The Last Door Seson 2 * Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge * Lost Kingdoms July: * Skin Deep * Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 * Cyberpunk2077: Phantom Liberty * The Talos Principle
Make no mistake: This is a game created for a furry vore comic… but it's such a mild example of what we can only assume is fetish material that all we're left with is a pretty okay Popeye arcade game clone. So we talk about the many faces of Gordon Ramsey instead.
Kaye, Dennis, and Moxie talk about Doom: The Dark Ages, Lost Records: Bloom and Rage, Void Crew, and much more! The Grind: Kaye: Lost Records: Bloom & Rage. The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered. Rocksmith 2014 Remastered. Dennis: Doom: The Dark Ages. Moxie: Void Crew. Fallen London. The Multiplayer: Let's talk about video games within video games! The End Boss: Epic creates Darth Vader chatbot, ethical minefield. Sephiroth's sword changes length, canonically.
What if combat was less about hitting your opponent, and more about circling around them at very high speeds? Ace Combat 4 is one of the genre standards for the dog-fighting genre. There aren't that many games in there, so when people like one it generally stands out. But is there enough there to entertain the non-fan of the genre? And how did they manage to add an alternate reality plot to this?
People have been asking us to cover the Burger King games for as long as this show has existed. They fit the remit of Abject Suffering so perfectly! But emulation is difficult, and we wanted to make absolutely sure we could play these games perfectly, so we could avoid talking about them and instead dwell on how the Burger King corporation wasted a character with the amazing name “The Duke of Doubt”.
Kaye, Dennis, Jala, and Moxie talk about Alterium Shift, Arkanoid vs. Space Invaders, Ace Attorney Investigations Collection, and much more! The Grind: Jala: Alterium Shift. We've had to deal with the Leeroy Jenkins meme for 20 years.
Time to join Chris, Sherry and Jake, and Ada, as they do the same shit Leon did last episode.
One of our least favorite game coverage schticks is pretending that a game's concept is so wacky that you can't understand it. You play as a mosquito who's tormenting a family, and it's a flight sim? Okay, cool, I get it. A domino wants to run little courses? Sure, why would I try to stop him? A studio's whole deal is putting aquatic life in strange situations? This can totally fit in my brain and it would diminish us all to pretend that's not the case.
Kaye, Ben, Dennis, and Moxie talk about Half Sword, Auridia, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and much more! The Grind: Moxie: Fallen London. Borderlands 3. Kaye: Auridia. The End Boss: Grand Theft Auto 6 delayed to 2026. Xbox prices are going up. Rogule.com (http://Rogule.com) is a neat daily roguelike generator.
How many zombies is too many zombies? Probably about one campaign of Resident Evil 6. Prepare to be worn down until you don't like this pretty good game with the sheer amount of content it offers.
Listen, Mercenary Force isn't a bad game at all. It's actually quite interesting, if a bit too hard. A side scrolling shooter where you control four feudal Japanese warriors? It's a good premise! Nobody knows what Gary was thinking when he brought this one. “Why is one of the hosts named differently? What happened!?” Kaye is transitioning! Find out more here. Do you dare to feel satisfied? Build a dream factory on a mostly uninhabited alien planet. Build it again once you realize how much more efficientiely you could do it. This week we are joined by special guest Ben Merkel from the Level, since the game takes hundreds of hours to properly play. Rest up, Gary.
Our cup runneth over with questions. Here are your spilled questions.
Given how many super soldiers there are out there, you'd think there would be more social support for them. Groups, meetings, organizations. Shit, did I just reinvent the Venture Bros. from first principles? Come in and find out! “Why is one of the hosts named differently? What happened!?” Kaye is transitioning! Find out more here. This week a patron demand takes us into a discussion about a game that Gary likes quite a bit. The Jurassic Park SNES game is open world, mixed perspective, and overall a huge surprise, since Ocean doesn't usually do work this interesting.
Kole, Ben, Dennis, and Moxie talk about Blue Prince, Atomfall, The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, and much more! The Grind: Ben: Blue Prince. Dennis: Void Crew. Wildfrost. Trackmania. Moxie: Fallen London. Atomfall. Kole: The Last of Us Part 2. The Multiplayer: What's the oldest, non-pixel art video game that's visuals hold up the best? The End Boss: Chaotic tariffs throw Switch 2 release details into question. Bethesda is selling pieces of the original Elder Scrolls Online servers as keepsakes for fans. Bungie re-announces Marathon 2. Ben found an eagle cam that's real good.
Way back when, when it felt like horror games were few and far between, we would settle for The Suffering. It's a real B-delivery of some A-level ideas. If you have nostalgia, it's justified, if you don't have nostalgia, wow what a weird game. Plus, there's a morality system based on how well you can not hit the NPCs. It's the future. You're on a gameshow. You need to wipe out the speed gangs with vigilante car violence, murdering every last one of them… for real! But not really though. But really, it's VR. But it's LIKE death. But not death. We can't emphasize enough how unlike and like real death this is.
He's not quite a knight, he's not quite a gladiator. He's just Rygar. And he's going to... defeat the Animalized Men Wriggling Eerily. Come join us in this proto-Metroidvania and we see what strange design decisions were made during the wild west era of early console gaming.
Cybermania ‘94 [See Adaptation Decay 97, true believers!-- Grinning Gwen] reminded us that there's a Dennis Miller game on the 3DO. And we figured we might as well take a deep dive into a guy who sucks, via talking about a very strange multimedia product from the nineties.

Moxie: Fallen London. Ben: LoneStar. The Multiplayer: Fictional civilizations in games. The End Boss: The Last of Us TV show will have an indeterminate number of seasons, depending on the vibe. Nintendo invents the calendar. Baldur's Gate/Stardew Valley mod taken down, put back up, maybe taken down again? Pikachu protests Erdogan in Turkey.
No role-playing today, kids! Just time for that sweet tappa-tappa. Grind for gear, slay some jellied cubes, and enjoy killing some time in this Diablo-clone with a Dungeons and Dragons skin.
We'll be honest, this isn't a bad game. A Tony Hawk game will generally have a high floor for quality, unless it's Downhill Jam or something. No, this is here because you voted for it, and it's also the most Bam Margera you're going to get in a video game by volume. And though we love Jackass, there's a lot to dislike about ol' Bam Bam himself.
Kole, Ben, Dennis, and Moxie talk about Do No Harm, The Roottrees are Dead, Cruelty Squad, and much more! The Grind: Ben: Storyteller. The Roottrees are Dead. Lonestar. Kole: Do No Harm. Moxie: Cruelty Squad. Elite: Dangerous. Fallen London. Dennis: Monster Train. iRacing. Avowed. The Multiplayer: Tell us about some sandbox games you like! A sub-par Guitar Hero clone that doesn't list band names or anything. Just shitty, shitty covers of pop songs.

It's not quite a blobber and it's quite an Ultima, so what is it? Might and Magic is a huge series and number 6 is a strange entry. You can recruit townspeople, tanks are pointless, and there are dungeons scattered about the map like litter. Join us, won't you? Unlock the full episode at patreon.com/duckfeedtv
What would it take to get you interested in football? Knights? Ogres? Vikings? Oh, none of the above… Well, you're going to be very disappointed with this week's game then. We'll work on making tennis cooler next.

Ben: Gaia Project: The Lost Fleet. A Game About Digging a Hole. The Multiplayer: What's your most beloved Mario game? The End Boss: Autobattler The Bazaar pisses off fans by breaking monetization promises. WotC makes SpongeBob meme cards, what are we doing here? Devil May Cry anime gets bad tagline, then a better one. Donkey Kong ‘94 comes to Switch Online, play it.
What do video games and religion have in common? The points don't matter! INDIKA is a walking-sim adjacent indie adventure game that is largely a vehicle for philosophical debates. You might think that sounds a little pretentious, but the writing is actually stellar and we encourage everyone to check this out.
For our very special 600th episode, we talk about the most video game-shaped thing you could get that wasn't a video game: the Tiger Handheld Electronics game. These heavily licensed consolation prizes were barely interactive, made heinous noises, and were ubiquitous in the early nineties. You can play many of them on the Internet Archive, but why would you?
Kole, Dennis, and Ben talk about Avowed, Beyond Hanwell, The Peaks of Yore, and much more! The Grind: Dennis: Avowed. Balatro. Kole: Beyond Hanwell. Ben: Heroes of Hammerwatch 2. Despelote (Demo). Clone Hero streamer full combos “Through the Fire and the Flames” at 2x speed.
Have you ever wonder what it would be like to be a pilot who also had to juggle? That's the kind of hard hitting question Hammerfight tries to answer.
Did you know that Howie Mandel made a series of kids games? Did you know that the music was a collaboration between artists from Pink Floyd, Yes, the Doobie Brothers, and Supertramp? If you did, that's a very strange thing to know.
Kole, Ben, Dennis, and Moxie talk about Cryptmaster, the Monster Train 2 demo, Satisfactory, and much more! The Grind: Ben: Monster Train 2 (Demo). Moves of the Diamond Hand (Demo). Marvel Snap. Cryptmaster. Kole: Worshippers of Cthluhu. Satisfactory. Moxie: Fallen London. Dennis: Trackmania. Slay the Spire: Downfall. Balatro. When you're a teen, you do stupid things. You might drive recklessly, you might make some off-color jokes you won't be proud of later, or you might make a dating sim with your friends that will be on the internet forever. That's the case with Get the Girl, a DOS quiz game by a group of teens who have a very tenuous grasp on how to interact with women.

Skald - n. a composer and reciter of poems honoring heroes and their deeds. While you can't recruit a Skald in your party, oddly, you can hone and craft a party of heroes in this updated retro-style Blobber. It wants to introduce you to a genre that's generally unfriendly to newcomers. Full episode available exclusively to our patrons at patreon.com/duckfeedtv
This episode is a quick announcement to let you know that the way you get Duckfeed's premium content is changing. Patreon now offers individual feeds of all of our backer-only shows. This gives you control over what your podcast player downloads, and what you ultimately listen to. Since Patreon itself has this feature, we will no longer be using the individual show feeds on Fireside for our premium content. Those feeds will no longer be updated. Here's what you need to do: You will now need to subscribe to each show you want to listen to individually through Patreon. The process is very simple, just go to the Membership tab on our Patreon page. I've also created a detailed guide for you in the pinned post on our Patreon page. (https://www.patreon.com/posts/122629571) The delivery of public episodes isn't changing at this time. (So to get both the public and premium episodes of Watch Out for Fireballs!, you will need to subscribe to both the feed provided on Patreon and the public feed on watchoutforfireballs.com. I apologize for this duplication, there just isn't a way to handle it better at the moment). Very little else is changing at the moment. You will still get email notifications about every episode we post, regardless of what shows you subscribe to. If you miss the combined feed of all of our shows, what we called the firehose, we're sorry that it went away. You can recreate the effect either by using an RSS feed combiner service, or using features in the podcast app you already use to group shows together into one list of episodes. This feature is called Stations in Apple Podcasts, Overcast calls it Smart Playlists, Podcast Addict calls it Playlists. Pocketcasts doesn't have an option for this as far as I know. Patreon's multi-show RSS feature is still in testing, and there may be hiccups. This is also just one of many changes Patreon is making to make podcasting on their platform better for everyone, so expect more features in the near future. If you have any feedback about the experience, please write at info@duckfeed.tv. To sweeten the pot if this change makes you want to back us for the first time, or to become a patron again, use the code MULTIFEED (all one word) to get 20% off the first month of a new subscription.

Hey folks, Herc's Adventures is actually kind of a good game. Made by the Zombies Ate My Neighbors team at LucasArts, it expands on that formula with some neat ideas like its novel death mechanic and its open world. But to be honest, a lot of this episode is informed by residual Guppy Energy left over from recording the Sonic 3 Adaptation Decay with Will.
Stealth games! We've been trying to figure out how to make games anti-action for a long time, and before we ever got to Sekiro, we had a little game called Tenchu Stealth Assassins. My, how the genre has evolved.
How can a movie also be a game? The sci-fi anthology series Black Mirror tries to answer that with the experimental Bandersnatch, which weirdly feels archaic in many ways even as it tries to break storytelling boundaries. There is some neat stuff in here, but does it add up to anything more than cheap twists?
