David Baker CFO of Elemental Altus Royalties (TSX.V:ELE) (OTCQX:ELEMF), joins me to review the key takeaways from the Q4 and full year 2024 financials, including record quarterly and annual revenues and cash flows, marking their seventh consecutive year of revenue growth. We also review the outlook for 2025, the addition of a new board member, and then dig into some updates for ongoing growth at key royalty partner operations.   Preliminary Financial Highlights for Q4 and Full Year 2024 Results:   Record preliminary adjusted 2024 revenue of US$21.6 million (+21% vs 2023) comprised of: US$16.3 million attributable royalty revenue; and US$5.3 million attributable revenue from the Caserones copper mine Record preliminary adjusted Q4 revenue of US$6.8 million (+21% vs Q4 2023) comprised of: US$5.5 million attributable royalty revenue; and US$1.3 million attributable revenue from the Caserones copper mine   Dave breaks down the financial strength of the company, and the leverage of it's balance sheet to rising production and revenues in a higher metals price environment. We also review the growth via per-share metrics in 2024, and in particular look ahead to full-year 2025 gold equivalent ounce growth to a projected record 11,600 - 13,200 GEOs, augmented now from Allied Gold's Korali-Sud (formerly named Diba) asset, and the increased production from the assets acquired from AlphaStream Limited last year.  He also highlighted with the roughly $6 million in cash on hand, the expected revenues over $30 million this year, a number of additional incoming one-off payments in H1, and the $50 million credit facility on hand, that the company is in a great position to keep reviewing acquisition transactions in the year to come.   Next we touched upon the recently announced addition to the Board of Directors, bringing in Sandeep Singh, who has extensive experience in the mining and royalty sector.  Sandeep is currently President and CEO of Western Copper and Gold. Prior to this, he was President and CEO of Osisko Gold Royalties, where he successfully led its strategic turnaround, after having spent 15 years as an investment banker specializing in the North American metals and mining sector.   Wrapping up we cover some of the anticipated growth of the projects at their key cornerstone royalty assets: Caserones, Karlawinda, Korali-Sud, and Bonikro.   Dave anticipates that all these assets are set to perform well and keep expanding and growing ounces and pounds in the year to come.  The mission now for the team at Elemental Altus this year, now that the company has paid off all their remaining debt, is to keep looking for royalties on long-dated quality projects with quality partners where they can execute accretive transactions.   If you have any follow up questions for Dave regarding Elemental Altus Royalties, then please email them to me at Shad@kereport.com.   In full disclosure, Shad is a shareholder of Elemental Altus Royalties at the time of this recording.   Click here to view recent news on the Elemental Altus Royalties website

Fred Bell, CEO of Elemental Altus Royalties (TSX.V:ELE) (OTCQX:ELEMF), joins us to review some of the key partner projects in their royalties portfolio, how things wrapped up in 2024, and we look ahead to where the growth will come from in 2025.   We have Fred break down the financial strength of the company, and the leverage to it's balance sheet to rising GEO production in a higher metals price environment, their solid net cash position as a company, and a rough estimate of how revenues could grow in the year to come.  The fourth quarter will also be the first one to see the increased production from the assets acquired from AlphaStream Limited in September.   One of the key royalty assets is the 3% Net Smelter Return (“NSR”) royalty on the first 226,000 ounces of gold produced, and an uncapped 2% NSR thereafter, at the Korali-Sud (formerly Diba) project operated by Allied Gold Corporation  (TSX: AAUC). On January 27th Allied Gold announced approximately 48,000 ounces of gold was produced from Korali-Sud during Q4 20241, but it is likely that this will hit revenues in Q1 2025.   Next we got an update on two of the other cornerstone royalty assets, Karlawinda and Caserones, and their expansion potential in the year to come.  Additionally we got an update on Fireweed Metals Corp (TSXV: FWZ) being granted up to C$35.4 million in US and Canadian Government funding to advance its assets and supporting infrastructure at Macmillan Pass, including the Mactung Project, with which Elemental Altus holds an uncapped 4% Net Smelter Return (“NSR”) royalty on the tungsten.   We wrap up discussing the valuation and potential for a rerating, considering the financial health of the company, the net cash position allowing for a buildup of capital to deploy on the balance sheet in the year to come, as well as the $50 million revolving credit facility on tap to execute more accretive acquisition transactions.   If you have any follow up questions for Fred regarding Elemental Altus Royalties, then please email them in to us at Shad@kereport.com  or Fleck@kereport.com.   In full disclosure, Shad is a shareholder of Elemental Altus Royalties at the time of this recording and may chose to buy or sell shares at any point in time.   Click here to view recent news on the Elemental Altus Royalties website

The guidance range continues to compare favorably with 2023 actual Adjusted Revenue of $17.9 million due to higher gold prices.   We have Fred and Dave break down the financial strength of the company, and the leverage to it's balance sheet to rising production and revenues. We also review the growth via per-share metrics moving into Q4 and in particular looking ahead to full-year 2025 gold equivalent ounce growth anticipated from Allied Gold's Korali-Sud (Diba) asset, and the increased production from the assets acquired from AlphaStream Limited in September for US$28 million in equity. The AlphaStream portfolio includes a further 2.25% NSR on the Company's Bonikro royalty, 1.25% NSR on Ballarat, A$5/oz on SKO, and increased interests on 21 other royalties in Australia.   Next we touched upon the cornerstone royalty assets at both Caserones and Karlawinda.  In Q3 2024, the Company accrued adjusted royalty revenue of $1.1 million from Caserones, based on reported sales of 22.0kt of copper. Q3 2024 gold production from Karlawinda was 25,559 ounces. The balance of the Company's producing portfolio provides immediate exposure and leverage to gold prices that are significantly above consensus forecasts.   Wrapping up we discuss that while this acquisition transaction was done with equity, that the company has a solid cash position, incoming revenues, and a credit facility to go after future accretive transactions.   If you have any follow up questions for Fred or Dave regarding Elemental Altus Royalties, then please email them in to us at Shad@kereport.com or Fleck@kereport.com.   In full disclosure, Shad is a shareholder of Elemental Altus Royalties at the time of this recording.   Click here to view recent news on the Elemental Altus Royalties website

Fred Bell, CEO of Elemental Altus Royalties (TSX.V:ELE) (OTCQX:ELEMF), joins me to review the recent acquisition of an additional 50% ownership of 24 existing royalties from AlphaStream Limited for a consideration of US$28 million in equity.   The Portfolio includes Elemental Altus' existing producing gold royalties on the Bonikro Gold Project, the Ballarat Mine, South Kalgoorlie Operations ("SKO") and 21 additional royalties located in Australia. Upon completion of the Acquisition, Elemental Altus, through a 100% interest in the Portfolio, will hold an effective 4.5% NSR royalty on Bonikro, a 2.5% NSR royalty on Ballarat, and a A$10/oz royalty and A$1 million Discovery Bonus on SKO.   Fred outlines what this will do for growing revenues and immediate cash flow, with approximately US$6 million additional revenue forecast in 2025 by consolidating the Portfolio.  This acquisition should yield an expected pro forma 2025 revenue increase of ~25% to US$31 million, driving a material step up in free cash flow with no increase in management costs. This Portfolio also provides immediate exposure and leverage to gold prices that are significantly above consensus forecasts.   With regards to the other 21 non-producing royalties, we discussed he exploration optionality in partnering with solid operators in Australia including Northern Star Resources Limited, Evolution Mining Limited, Hancock Prospecting Pty Ltd, Mineral Resources Limited and Zijin Mining Group Company Limited.  In particular, the Elemental Altus team is animated by the growth potential at the Hampton-Boulder-Jubilee and Hercules deposits at Northern Star's SKO in Western Australia, which they will be working to further expand and develop.   As part of the transaction, AlphaStream joins the share register as another cornerstone shareholder moving forward with the right to nominate a director to the Board, provided that AlphaStream's shareholding remains over 15% of Elemental Altus' outstanding common shares. AlphaStream will maintain pre-emptive and top-up rights in favor of its ability to maintain a shareholding of over 15% of Elemental Altus' outstanding common shares.   Wrapping up we discuss that while this acquisition transaction was done with equity, that the company has a solid cash position, incoming revenues, and a credit facility to go after future accretive transactions. Interview with David Baker, CFO of Elemental Altus Royalties Corp. Our previous interview: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/posts/elemental-altus-royalties-tsxvele-poised-for-growth-and-flush-with-cash-5014Recording date: 17th October 2024Elemental Altus Royalties, a precious metals royalty company, has announced a strategic $28 million all-equity deal that significantly expands its portfolio and is expected to boost its revenue by 25% year-over-year. This transaction focused on consolidating royalties on the Bonikro mine and acquiring interests in 21 other exploration and development royalties, positions the company for substantial growth in the coming years. The deal's centerpiece is the increase of Elemental's royalty on the Bonikro mine from 2.25% to 4.5%, effectively doubling the quarterly payments from $1 million to $2 million. This consolidation of existing interests, coupled with the addition of new royalties, is projected to generate $6 million in revenue next year and $5 million annually over the next five years, based on consensus pricing. David Baker, CFO of Elemental Altus Royalties, emphasized the immediate impact of this acquisition, stating, "We're estimating it on consensus pricing, $6 million next year and then $5 million over the next five years just on consensus pricing. Obviously, fair bit lower than spot, so we've got full exposure to high gold price."The company now expects to generate over $30 million in revenue next year, marking a significant milestone in its growth trajectory. This revenue increase is particularly noteworthy given the current market conditions, where many junior miners are struggling to access capital. Elemental's ability to acquire royalties from cash-strapped juniors at attractive valuations presents a unique opportunity for growth.Investors should note that Elemental's portfolio is underpinned by high-quality, long-life assets. Nearly half of the company's revenue comes from two key royalties: Karlawinda, a large Australian gold mine, and Caserones, a significant copper mine in Chile. These assets provide a stable base of cash flow, supporting the company's growth initiatives and potential future acquisitions. The royalty business model offers investors exposure to precious metals with a lower risk profile compared to direct mining investments. Elemental's focus on gold and copper aligns well with current macro trends, including ongoing economic uncertainties driving interest in gold as a safe-haven asset and the global push towards clean energy and electrification supporting copper demand.Looking ahead, Elemental is well-positioned to leverage its growing cash flow for future acquisitions. The company's management has indicated openness to exploring streaming deals as it grows, potentially broadening its range of financing options for mining companies. From a valuation perspective, Baker suggests that the company may be undervalued based on projected cash flows: "If that translates to $20 million of recurring free cash flow, then you've got a precious metal royalty company trading at 10% free cash flow yield, which I feel like is a fair way off historical norms."For investors, Elemental Altus Royalties presents an opportunity to gain exposure to the precious metals sector through a company with a diversified portfolio, strong growth prospects, and a business model that benefits from market dislocations. However, as with any investment in the mining sector, investors should remain mindful of commodity price volatility and jurisdiction-specific risks associated with the company's royalty interests. As Elemental continues to execute its growth strategy and potentially explores new financing models, it could attract increased attention from both investors and larger players in a consolidating royalty sector, potentially offering additional value creation opportunities for shareholders.—View Elemental Altus Royalties' company profile: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/companies/elemental-altus-royaltiesSign up for Crux Investor: https://cruxinvestor.com

David Baker, CFO of Elemental Altus Royalties (TSX.V:ELE – OTCQX:ELEMF), joins me to review their operational and financial results from Q2 2024, and some key royalty project updates at Diba, Karlawinda, Bonikro, Wahgnion, Caserones, and Cactus.  We also discuss where the growth will be coming from within their existing portfolio as well as the types of future acquisitions the team is working on.   We start off diving into the key metrics and takeaways from the second quarter financials:   Royalty revenue of US$3.8 million and adjusted revenue of US$5.2 million, up 10% on Q2 2023 Attributable Gold Equivalent Ounces ("GEOs") of 2,211 ounces, down 7% on Q2 2023 Operating Cash Flow plus Caserones dividends of US$1.4 million, down 33% on Q2 2023 primarily due to working capital movements Adjusted EBITDA of US$3.4 million, up 3% on Q2 2023 Repayment of a further $5.0 million under the credit facility and extension of the maturity date to June 2027 Cash balance of US$6.5 million and outstanding debt of US$20.0 million as at June 30, 2024 Elemental Altus is on track to meet the lower end of guidance of 10,000 to 11,700 GEOs and the higher end of expected revenue of US$20.0 to US$23.3 million. Production remains weighted to H2 2024, particularly for the new Diba royalty, while the lower relative performance of the copper price to gold drives the increased difference between GEOs and revenue The Company intends to continue reducing the amount drawn on the credit facility, reducing interest costs while maintaining flexibility for new acquisitions   We then transition over to discussing some of the key royalty projects and updates from royalty partners, and the related future production and revenue growth expected from various projects like Diba, Karlawinda, and Bonikro. Next we discussed the passing of the baton from Lilium Mining over to the nationalized operations by Burkina Faso at Wahgnion, but that essentially it's the same operations team it has been since Teranga and Endeavour Mining, and that the royalties have and will keep coming in for years to come. We spent some time with larger copper royalty on the Caserones project, noting that the brief labor dispute earlier this month did not really affect production, and that Lundin Mining has even increased guidance on production.  Then we looked at the larger resources and mine plan released recently from Arizona Sonoran on their Cactus project, and how this means a slightly deferred but much larger production profile over the portion of the project that Elemental Altus holds a royalty over.   Wrapping up we discussed the pipeline of single royalty deals and larger portfolio acquisitions that the company is reviewing, and their capacity to source more deals between their credit facilities, cash on hand, incoming cashflows, and other larger one-off payments expected to keep coming in.   If you have any follow up questions for David regarding Elemental Altus Royalties, then please email me at Shad@kereport.com.   In full disclosure, Shad is a shareholder of Elemental Altus Royalties at the time of this recording.   Click here to view recent news on the Elemental Altus Royalties website

BELIEVE IT OR NOT, the combination of ambient nature sounds and electronic music was actually an innovation in the 1970s. And you may be surprised that the idea had a history in European classical music, especially in England and France. In England, it was the so-called "pastoral" composers like ARNOLD BAX and RALPH VAUGHAN WILLIAMS, who created orchestral images of nature. In France, it was the Impressionists, from CLAUDE DEBUSSY to OLIVIER MESSIAEN. They didn't have recordings, so they created new instruments and playing techniques to imitate natural sounds like wind and birdsongs. By the mid-20th century, we could record the sounds of nature, edit them and play them back at will. In the 1950s, avant-garde composers like JOHN CAGE were promoting an awareness of ambient sound as equal to music. Music...was how you listened. Incorporating nature sounds into music was the next step; beside, film soundtracks had been doing it for years. The psychology is foundational: humans evolved listening to natural sounds, and they send a message we respond to instinctively. For example, birdsong on a gentle summer morning is delightful and calming. Blend in some subtle synthesizers, season with gourmet reverberation and you have what two young Canadians named MYCHAEL DANNA and TIM CLÉMENT called "environmental electronic music." It's an idea that was embraced by New Age musicians and in time became a bit of a cliché. But it led to an electronic genre of extended tone-color journeys in virtual space, which is still alive and well. On this transmission of Hearts of Space, the fluid, airy sound of summer spacemusic, on a program called SUMMERTONES 3. Music is by MEG BOWLES, DANNA & CLÉMENT, CHRONOTOPE PROJECT, ALTUS, and STELLIA. [ view program page ] [ view Flickr image gallery ] [ play 30 second MP3 promo ]

Elemental Altus Royalties has acquired two new royalties, including one on the MacTung tungsten project in Yukon. The company sees the strategic importance of tungsten as the West looks to diversify its sources outside of China. The MacTung project has had years of permitting and development work, making it a clear pathway to production. The Cantung projectis seen as a non-core asset but still has potential value. The payback period for the royalties is expected to be within the first two years of production.

Fred Bell, CEO of Elemental Altus Royalties (TSX.V:ELE) (OTCQX:ELEMF), joins us to review the recent acquisition of 2 brownfields tungsten royalties, as well as a royalty partner update on the Diba Mine nearing first production.     In the news released to the market on July 22nd, Elemental Altus Royalties has acquired two existing royalties from Cornish Metals Inc. including an uncapped 4% net smelter return ("NSR") royalty on the Mactung Project in Canada currently being advanced by Fireweed Metals Corp, and a 1% NSR royalty on the high-grade Cantung Project, a formerly operating tungsten mine in Canada.   Mactung, operated and owned by Fireweed Metals, is one of the largest, high-grade tungsten deposits in the world and one of the few high-grade tungsten deposits outside of China, that also has the Environmental Assessment completed as part of previous permitting. Fireweed Metals, a well-financed, Lundin Group company, has an experienced management team with a track record of securing funding for mine development.  The next key catalyst on the Project will be a new PEA later in 2024, building on the updated Mineral Resource Estimate in 2023.   Fred also briefly reviews the overlooked value in the previously operating Cantung Project, and why their team is bullish on the fundamentals of the tungsten markets as a strategic metal of importance.   Next we got a royalty partner update on the expected maiden production from the Diba Gold Project, operated by Allied Gold Corp (TSX: AAUC). Allied Gold has announced that their 12,000 meter drilling program is targeting extending the Mineral Resources at Diba. This is significant as the exploration program is designed to prioritize near-mine oxides and comes on top of the previously announced initial Proven and Probable Reserves of 280,000 ounces of gold at 1.43 g/t within the larger 377,000 ounces of gold in Measured and Indicated Resources that was announced in February 2024.   Diba is expected to materially contribute to production at Sadiola from mid-2024 and Allied have fast-tracked it into production this year, while simultaneously undertaking aggressive exploration to expand the Resource. Elemental Altus owns a 3% NSR royalty on the first 226,000 ounces produced at Diba and an uncapped 2% NSR royalty on all subsequent production. The consideration also included multiple production-based milestones totalling up to US$6 million and for which the Company has received the first US$1 million with further payments anticipated this year.   If you have any follow up questions for Fred regarding Elemental Altus Royalties, then please email me at Shad@kereport.com.   In full disclosure, Shad is a shareholder of Elemental Altus Royalties at the time of this recording.   Click here to view recent news on the Elemental Altus Royalties website

By financing miners in exchange for royalty payments on production, these royalty vehicles avoid the substantial operating risks involved directly in mining. Instead, they benefit from the upside if projects prove successful.Elemental Altus Royalties illustrates the potential of the royalty model. The company holds a portfolio of 90 royalties globally, delivering steady cash flow from core assets like the Cerro Dominador copper mine operated efficiently by Lundin Mining. Disciplined capital allocation allows Elemental Altus to fund additional royalty deals on quality development-stage assets that offer accretion potential over time. The company maintains a focus on gold but also holds royalties on copper mines.Diversification reduces risk while concentrated positions in Tier 1 mines provide stability. Further consolidation makes strategic sense to management, who believe the subsector remains overly fragmented currently. Additional deals may offer opportunities to bolster upside. Organic growth also drives potential catalysts. Key royalty-linked assets operated by established miners like Allied Gold have near-term production expansion plans that could increase royalty revenues. In summary, Elemental Altus Royalties offers investors interested in commodities a disciplined vehicle providing royalty exposure across precious and industrial metals. The diversified portfolio combines assets with near-term cash flow and developmental upside potential. Hence, the company may appeal to investors seeking leveraged yet risk-managed mining exposure.—View Elemental Altus Royalties' company profile: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/companies/elemental-altus-royaltiesSign up for Crux Investor: https://cruxinvestor.com
