In today's episode of “Fearless,” Jason brings on rapper Bryson Gray for a full show to discuss some of the hottest topics on your news feed. Former President Donald Trump announced his third bid as a presidential nominee for 2024, and there have been a lot of former Trump fans who have switched over to #TeamDeSantis — but Jason is still #TeamTrump. “Fearless” soldiers Royce White and Bryson Gray talk about the future of the MAGA movement. In recent news, the former CEO of the cryptocurrency exchange FTX has gone bankrupt, leading to the loss of millions of dollars for a multitude of investors, including celebrities like Tom Brady, Gisele Bündchen, Stephen Curry, and others. Jason saw a huge red flag with FTX's ex-CEO. However, it had nothing to do with his education, background, or cryptocurrency. Bryson Gray's latest song, “Shut Up and Dribble,” is a true-to-hip-hop track that disses LeBron James and includes many political and spiritual references that make it a rap song all must hear. Steve Kim, hip-hop fan and the “Korean Cosell” of "Fearless," reviews Bryson Gray's track and gives us his take. Also, the former NFL running back for the Kansas City Chiefs, Larry Johnson, joins “Fearless.” Jason has known Larry since their early days in Kansas City. Larry brings his interesting insights on the Black Hebrew Israelite issue with Kanye West and Kyrie Irving. Larry also opens up about his past and exposes some surprising facts he learned about rapper Jay-Z from his close relationship with him during his early NFL days. Lettermen Row staffers Matt Parker and Spencer Holbrook stepped back into the Lettermen Lounge and discussed what Kayden McDonald's commitment means both in the short term and the long term. McDonald only visited Ohio State twice during his recruitment process, but one of them was for an official visit. That visit, while important, was reciprocated by perhaps an even more important visit by Ohio State coach Ryan Day and defensive line coach Larry Johnson. The duo visited McDonald during the Buckeyes' bye-week and reemphasized how much of a priority he is to the Buckeyes. #OhioStateFootball #OhioState #CFBNews Subscribe for more Ohio State Football coverage: https://www.youtube.com/c/Lettermenrow?sub_confirmation=1 Ohio State Buckeyes videos from Columbus, Ohio from the staff of Lettermen Row. The Buckeyes are rolling on offense and defense right now. Pressing pause on that momentum could be dangerous. But it's also a great week for this football team to be well-rested and recovered halfway through the schedule -- ahead of a national championship push. As the Buckeyes make their way through the off week, they held a media session with head coach Ryan Day, defensive coordinator Jim Knowles, defensive line coach Larry Johnson and offensive line coach Justin Frye inside the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. Spencer Holbrook and Tim May were back inside the Woody Hayes Athletic Center on Tuesday, breaking down how the Buckeyes are turning their focus to Iowa after the off week in the latest Practice Report presented by Byers Auto. Every Tuesday following the media session with the Buckeyes, Tim and Spencer will chat about what they saw Saturday night and look ahead to what to expect from Ohio State in the week ahead. If you put those two things together it leads to three of the best defensive linemen in the class of 2023 being high on Ohio State's board. One of them, Keon Keeley, is set to make his second trip to Ohio State this season. During today's show Jay welcomes John Garcia Jr. to the show get an update on these recruits. Ohio State football's deep and talented defensive line sat down for their preseason camp interviews Tuesday at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. But a development on the other side of the ball dominated the day's conversation. Evan Pryor was expected to have at the least an enlightening redshirt freshman season. He showed some of his growth in the spring game and by many accounts was having a strong camp. But he suffered a season-ending knee injury Monday. Nathan and Stephen discuss the ramifications and what the Buckeyes will and won't do in response. On the defensive side, we gathered Larry Johnson's reaction to retirement rumors, Mike Hall's big camp, where Tyleik Williams must improve and more about the tackles. We also learned who has been training the most at the Jack and some details on the fluctuating body sizes of Jack Sawyer and J.T. Tuimoloau. Learn more about your ad choices. Muggsy Bogues remains the shortest player ever to play in the NBA, at 5-foot-3. Bogues stayed in the league for 14 years, most notably as the point guard for the exciting Charlotte Hornets teams of the 1990s that also starred Larry Johnson, Alonzo Mourning and Dell Curry. At age 57, he still lives in the Charlotte area today. We sat down in Bogues' home, inside a memorabilia room full of keepsakes from his career. In Part 1 of our conversation, we discussed Bogues' experience being shot as a child; the neighborhood recreation center Bogues says changed his life; and the former star's insistence that he really could dunk. Who is stepping up to become an intriguing sleeper in the Ohio State defensive line room? The Lettermen Row guys break it all down. Two weeks into preseason camp, it's becoming more clear which Ohio State players could be trending toward breakout years and where the Buckeyes still have concerns as the season draws closer.Running back depth emerged as a concern this week when Evan Pryor suffered a season-ending knee injury in practice, and that's where we begin this week's show. Is there reason to worry about Ohio State having only three scholarship running backs, and do the Buckeyes need to move someone else to running back for additional depth? While Ohio State might still have the nation's best one-two punch at running back in TreVeyon Henderson and Miyan Williams, Pryor's injury increases the importance of Dallan Hayden's readiness, and we believe Kaleb Brown and Xavier Johnson – not Steele Chambers and Chip Trayanum – could be candidates to take snaps at running back if needed.About 14 minutes into the show, we shift the conversation to everything else we learned from watching a full practice last week and talking to Kevin Wilson, Larry Johnson and their tight ends and defensive linemen this week. Among the topics we covered: 15:10: Cornerback depth concerns and walk-on Lloyd McFarquhar taking advantage of his opportunity 18:18: Tommy Eichenberg standing out in practice and whether that will translate to three-down success 21:20: Julian Fleming and Emeka Egbuka both making their case as they battle for starting spot 26:00: Cade Stover's noticeable improvement as a pass-catcher 32:47: Defense making life more difficult for Ohio State's offense on the practice field 35:14: Whether Kevin Wilson's comments about the short-yardage run game are reason to worry 38:53: The depth of Ohio State's defensive line and why J.T. Tuimoloau could be the unidentified “alpha dog” 46:55: Why Mike Hall is a player to watch even though he's third on the nose tackle depth chart Finally (beginning at 48:04), we talk about the six players Ohio State chose to be captains – Kamryn Babb, C.J. Stroud, Cade Stover, Tommy Eichenberg, Tyler Friday and Kourt Williams – and which players each of us were surprised to not see on the captain list.
We listened to comments from OSU Defensive Line coach Larry Johnson's Tuesday press conference...Anthony Schlegel told us some of the shenanigans he was involved with to lighten the mood at OSU training camp...and former Buckeye All-American Michael Bennett talked about the honor of being a captain his senior year.
Ohio State got bad news on Tuesday as tailback Evan Pryor will be out for the 2022 season with a knee injury. How will Ryan Day's offense adjust without Pryor?Plus, THE Podcast's Austin Ward, Bill Landis and Jeremy Birmingham break down what they heard on Tuesday after a media session with a loaded defensive line room, led by the legendary line coach Larry Johnson.

In this episode of the Buckeye Weekly Podcast, Tom Orr and Tony Gerdeman discuss the season-ending injury to redshirt freshman running back Evan Pryor. The fellas also recap everything that they heard during the defensive line media availability with Larry Johnson and his players. Among the topics covered throughout the show:- What the Buckeyes miss without Evan Pryor?- Should Ohio State move somebody to running back?- Who are those candidates?- Just how valuable and necessary is a fourth running back?- Why is redshirt freshman defensive tackle Mike Hall the talk of fall camp?- Where has fifth-year senior defensive tackle Taron Vincent gotten better?- Why is sophomore defensive tackle Tyleik Williams now a more complete player?- What were the Buckeyes missing without senior defensive end Tyler Friday last year?- Why is senior defensive end Zach Harrison feeling better than ever?- How many starters does Larry Johnson have?- How deep can this defensive line go?- And much, much more.

The Buckeyes added four-star DeMatha Catholic (Fort Washington, Maryland) defensive end Jason Moore to the class on Sunday after the top-50 prospect announced his commitment on Twitter. Moore's commitment gives Ohio State and defensive line coach Larry Johnson a massive win -- a big enough victory that vault the Buckeyes' class back into the No. 1 spot. Ohio State is hopeful that it can solidify its front seven in the coming weeks. The Buckeyes will have an answer on Saturday from one of its top prospects in four-star Jesuit (Tampa, Florida) linebacker Troy Bowles.
