After a scoreboard update from Brendan King, Coach begins the final hour talking with Rob Blackman of Purdue radio as the #7 Boilers smoked Indiana 93-64 at Mackey Arena. We head back to HS basketball with HC Scott McClelland of Noblesville as his squad got a 10 point win over Avon. We then shift to Hauser basketball as HC Trent Moorhead and his team got a 76-48 win over Milan. We head over then to Michigan City vs Maryville where Tanner Camp of the regional radio sports network had the call of Michigan City’s 60-54 win. We head over to the undefeated Fishers Tigers as their Head Coach Garrett Winegar talks with coach about their 66-42 win over Zionsville. We take a moment back to West Lafayette where John Herrick talks Indiana’s loss to Purdue 64-93. We also hear from Steve Kolb of WAXL where Heritage Hills took down Tell City 68-41. After an up-and-down week, the Michigan basketball squad will hit the road for its biggest test of the season at Mackey Arena against Purdue on Friday. Both teams should be hungry and desperate for a win as they've both recently suffered frustrating losses and this game will have a big impact on the rest of the Big Ten regular season. Tony and Andrew open the show by discussing the three keys for the Wolverines if they are to pull off an upset, then the guys share their prediction for who they see coming out on top. It's nearing the end of January in College Basketball and things are really heating up. Timmy Hall and Evil Bald Colin get you caught up from games from over the weekend and earlier this week. Alabama and Kentucky was awesome! At about the 10:40 mark the guys get into the situation that happened at TCU with Hunter Dickinson and other TCU players holding onto the ball for a long period of time. Bill Self wasn't a huge fan of that act from his big man. Dan Hurley is at it again, this time declaring himself as the best coach in the sport and the guys discuss if he makes a good case or not. Are replay reviews becoming a problem in the sport? The guys break that down at 24:10 and throw out some ideas to make late-game reviews better. Also, the Ohio State basketball team picked up a MASSIVE win in Mackey Arena knocking off Purdue. What was working for the Buckeyes, and can they go on a run here off this big win? And finally, at the 35-minute mark Rhymetime joins the pod to give an update on North Carolina after dropping two games in a row and what their issues are, along with a look ahead at the huge weekend slate coming up.
