In this episode of the Top Order Podcast, Binksy, Jamie, Baldy and Raj discuss some of the major talking points from the past week, including the England v India T20 series, Australia's innings victories in the tests against Sri Lanka & India, plus a Sachin Tendulkar/Steve Smith stat-off to finish. We start the show by discussing Australia's WAshes victory and the fallout for an England side that has performed well below their own expectations. Will there be changes at the top? There's also praise for Alana King, Annabel Sutherland, Beth Mooney, Ash Gardner and more. Next up we move to India's T20 series with England. The show was recorded before India's crushing win in the 5th match, but the discussion around England's mixed performances shone through. There are question marks around the finishing and concussion substitutes, but plenty of positives for Varun Chakravarthy and also Hardik Pandya's leadership. After that we move to another big Australian victory - the innings win against Sri Lanka at Galle. We talk about the manner of the victory and the dominant performance, but of course Baldy is always looking for improvements from this Australian team. Usman Khawaja and Josh Inglis went big, but should Sam Konstas have played? How well did the Aussie spinners bowl? And what was Dhananjaya De Silva doing? To round out the show, it was a good old fashioned head-to-head battle as the boys discuss the records of Sachin Tendulkar and Steve Smith after the latter passed 10,000 runs. It's the Friday afternoon after a pair of huge Oilers comeback wins, which meant the boys had plenty to talk about on the Friday episode of Oilersnation Radio. This week, the guys discussed the John Klingberg signing, Connor McDavid's goal heater, Noah Philp being recalled, and much more.We started the podcast with a delicious debate about John Klingberg signing a one-year deal with the Oilers this morning and how he fits into the Oilers' lineup. Given that he hasn't played in well over a year, we also wondered what's fair to expect from him as he works his way back into playing shape. We've seen plenty of examples of players missing time early in NHL seasons and taking plenty of time to get back up to speed.Changing gears, we looked at the two comeback wins over the Wild and Avalanche. Obviously, it's great that the Oilers could erase their early deficits and ultimately win the game. Still, it's undoubtedly a problem that they're giving up so many early goals, and they have got to clean up those details and mistakes. Another angle on the issue is: Are the Oilers having an issue with slow starts, or is there something to be said about the ridiculous travel schedule they've had lately?Looking at some of the individual performances that have happened over the last few games, and how some key players are coming up with clutch goals when we need them most. Given that we've always been gagging for secondary scoring, having the Oilers get goals from throughout their lineup is a blessing the team hasn't had in forever. Finally, the boys wrapped up the Friday episode of ONR with another round of Ask the Idiots and Hot that featured some Oilers questions about topics you never expected to hear. Needless to say, the boys were all over the map. As always, the fellas gave their best advice whether they were qualified or not. Last but not least, everyone gave their best and worst moments from the last week in another round of Hot and Cold Performers.
Last year, T-Mobile ran a commercial in which Snoop Dogg breaks down Patrick Mahomes' “top three plays of the day” with additional commentary from influencer Kai Cenat. Mahomes scrambles into a T-Mobile store with a “little shimmy, shimmy shake” (like he's chasing an ice cream truck), holds up an iPhone 16 Pro “like a baby lion,” and then takes T-Mobile's savings and “calls it a day.” Snoop tells the audience that families who use T-Mobile can save 20% a month “versus the other big guys.” Gonzalo Mon gmon@kelleydrye.com (202) 342-8576 www.kelleydrye.com/people/gonzalo-e-mon https://www.kelleydrye.com/viewpoints/blogs/ad-law-access/nad-hears-a-dispute-between-two-big-or-maybe-medium-guys Subscribe to the Ad Law Access blog - www.kelleydrye.com/subscribe Subscribe to the Ad Law News Newsletter - www.kelleydrye.com/subscribe View the Advertising and Privacy Law Resource Center - www.kelleydrye.com/advertising-and-privacy-law Find all of our links here linktr.ee/KelleyDryeAdLaw Hosted by Simone Roach
