This Sunday, we celebrate more than new chairs—we celebrate new opportunities for lives to be changed. Every chair placed in our sanctuary is more than furniture; it represents a person, a family, a story, and a soul that God desires to reach. Empty chairs remind us that there are still people searching for hope, healing, purpose, and the love of Christ. As we dedicate these new seats, we also dedicate ourselves to the mission of inviting others into God's house. Each chair is a reminder that someone's miracle, salvation, restoration, or breakthrough could begin with a simple invitation. There is room for everyone at the table of grace. Join us for this powerful message as we embrace the vision that every chair matters because every soul matters. Let's fill the house—not just with people, but with lives transformed by Jesus Christ!   Please Like, Subscribe, and Share it with a friend!

At the same gate where Rahab once sat marked by a scarlet cord, Bartimaeus later cried out for mercy. One gate. Two stories. One powerful message: God sees what others overlook. Rahab was a rejected woman with a hidden purpose. Bartimaeus was a blind beggar with a buried identity. Both were positioned at Jericho's gate — the place between their past and their promise. This message explores how God will stop in the middle of movement, noise, and opposition just to restore your vision and remind you who you are. Your condition does not cancel your calling. The gate is not your ending — it is the doorway to transformation. Please Like, Subscribe, and Share it with a friend!

Are You Speaking What God Is Saying? We are living in a time where everyone has a voice.Social media is loud.Podcasts are everywhere.Opinions are constant. But here's the real question…Are those voices actually echoing Heaven? In Gospel of John chapter 12, Jesus makes something incredibly clear—He did not speak on His own authority. He spoke what the Father commanded Him to say. That means every word Jesus released carried the weight of Heaven. And if we're going to have real impact in this generation, it won't come from clever ideas, trending content, or cultural relevance…

In a world that constantly tries to label us by our failures, struggles, and circumstances, it's easy to lose sight of who we truly are. “Eye-dentity” challenges us to examine the lens through which we see ourselves. Are we looking through the distorted view of pain, insecurity, and past mistakes? Or are we allowing God's truth to define us? This sermon invites us to shift our focus—to see ourselves the way God sees us. When we align our “eye” with His truth, our identity becomes clear. We are no longer bound by labels given by the world or our past. Instead, we walk confidently in the freedom and purpose found in Christ. Please Like, Subscribe, and Share it with a friend!

The resurrection is not just a victory over death—it is the Gardener at work again. What was planted perishable is raised imperishable. What was sown in sorrow rises in glory. The same divine hands that formed humanity in the beginning are now reforming creation through resurrection. When Mary mistakes Jesus for the gardener, it is a moment filled with quiet truth: the Gardener has returned to tend what was broken. And what does a gardener do? He cultivates. He restores. He brings life where there was once only decay. God does not abandon what He plants. He shapes us in the beginning. He stays with us in the burial. And He calls us forth into new life. The resurrection is proof that the Gardener never wastes the ground. So when you feel buried—remember, you may actually be planted.   Please Like, Subscribe, and Share it with a friend!

This sermon explores the power of learning to see the good, even in moments of confusion and loss. Looking at the resurrection story through the eyes of Mary Magdalene and Peter, we reflect on how easy it is to miss hope when we're overwhelmed by grief or expectations. At the empty tomb of Jesus Christ, both Mary and Peter struggle to understand what they're seeing. What looks like loss is actually the beginning of something greater—but they don't recognize it right away. This message reminds us that sometimes the good in our lives isn't absent—we just don't see it yet. Please Like, Subscribe, and Share it with a friend!

The Lamb represents surrender. It is the posture of humility, obedience, and sacrifice. The Lamb does not fight back—it yields. It trusts. It lays itself down for the sake of others. This is the heart of love: to give without demanding, to serve without recognition, to forgive without limit. The Lamb within us calls us to die to pride, to release control, and to walk in compassion even when it costs us everything. But the story does not end at the cross. The Lamb who was slain rises again—not as a victim, but as a Lion. The Lion embodies authority, courage, and victory. It does not retreat; it advances. It does not whisper; it roars. The Lion within us is the God-given strength to stand for truth, to confront darkness, and to walk boldly in purpose. It is the fire that refuses to let fear have the final word. It's Friday, December 12th, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com.  I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Canadian pastor released from prison with gag order Canadian Pastor Derek Reimer has been released from prison in Calgary, Alberta on strict conditions as he is still serving his one-year house arrest and two-year probation for objecting to a Drag Queen Story Hour for little kids in a 90-second, peaceful conversation with Saddletowne Library Manager Shannon Slater. Reimer is not allowed to use any form of social media. Plus, leftist government officials have actually restricted him from attending the Street Church in Calgary and The Remnant Church in Red Deer because his parole officer is scared he will “rally up the mob.” Pastor Artur Pawlawski of Street Church told The Worldview, “Pastor Reimer has been totally muzzled by the Canadian courts. He has been prohibited from talking with anyone including his family, his friends, churchgoers, or reporters. It's a total, Soviet-style gag order. If he talked to anyone about what is happening he will go straight back to prison.” Pawlawski knows first-hand about these kind of oppressive government tactics. He said, “I grew up behind the Iron Curtain. Communists muzzled the public.  If you dared to expose them by telling the truth, they would do a show trial, imprison you, and torture you. “ Not surprisingly, the Canadian judge insisted that any Biblical objection to the sinful lifestyle of transgenders and homosexuals on the part of Pastor Reimer would qualify as “hate speech.” Calgary Pastor Shawn Hamm said, “The courts in Alberta are corrupt and they have been turned into a political circus! The judicial system can use ‘hurt feelings' in the province of Alberta to try to silence Christians on our biblical beliefs. They are doing their best to silence Pastor Derek, but they cannot silence all of us!” Hamm added, “The Drag Queen Story Hour that is happening all across Canada must be exposed for what it is -- pervert grooming sessions that are happening in public spaces!” Learn more and help with Pastor Reimer's legal defense at www.SavePastorDerek.com. Jeffress: “None of the government's business” what pastors preach On Wednesday, Pastor Robert Jeffress of First Baptist Dallas had a message for  a White House religious liberty panel. JEFFRESS: “What I preach from the pulpit of the First Baptist Church of Dallas, or any pastor preaches from his church is none of the government's business.” (clapping) In testimony before the U.S. Department of Justice's Religious Liberty Commission, Jeffress shared their experience with the Internal Revenue Service during a controversial church tax inquiry in 2021 under former President Joe Biden. Jeffress' statement to the Commission included comments he initially shared with his congregation on Sunday, in which he recounted how the atheist legal organization Freedom From Religion Foundation filed a complaint with the IRS after former Vice President Mike Pence and then-HUD Secretary Dr. Ben Carson shared their faith testimonies of “how they came to know Jesus as Savior” at Jeffress' church in June 2020.  Jeffress said, “It's interesting that we did not hear anything from the IRS for 11 months. Then, four months after Joe Biden became president, on May 6, 2021, the IRS informed our church that they were initiating an inquiry into the tax-exempt status of our church because of our patriotic service.” He added that he does not endorse candidates from the pulpit, but “we encourage Christians to vote their biblical conviction.” Ironically, on November 1, 2020, the same day he addressed his church about the presidential race, President Biden was speaking at the Sharon Baptist Church in Philadelphia, where the former president and the church's pastor “openly encouraged members to vote for Biden while both men were standing in front of a campaign banner in the church.” Jeffress noted, “When we pointed out the contrast to the IRS between our non-endorsement policy and this church's flagrant disregard for the Johnson Amendment, the IRS officials conducting the examination had no response.” While the inquiry lasted more than a year, the IRS eventually acknowledged in July 2022 that First Baptist Dallas “did not engage in any improper political intervention or violate the U.S. tax code.”  Despite the favorable outcome, Jeffress said he wanted to testify before the Commission because while First Baptist Dallas could afford the legal fees, most churches could not — nor, he said, should they have to do so. Elon Musk affirms belief in Creator On The Katie Miller Podcast, billionaire Elon Musk revealed that he looks up to the Creator at the 12:37-mark of a nearly hour-long conversation, reports The Christian Post. MILLER: “Who do you look up to the most?” MUSK: “The Creator.” MILLER: “What's your current position on God?” MUSK: “God is the Creator.” MILLER: “You don't believe in God, though, do you?” MUSK: “Well, I believe those this universe came for something. People have different labels.” The comments from the Tesla and SpaceX founder are the latest in his publicly evolving views on God and faith. In response to a tweet from a user on X urging him to confess a Creator in May 2022, Musk wrote: "Thank you for the blessing, but I'm OK with going to hell, if that is indeed my destination, since the vast majority of all humans ever born will be there." Describing the reality of hell, Jesus said to those on His left, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.'"  (Matthew 25:41) Subsequently, in 2025, Musk urged his millions of X followers to go to church following the assassination of Charlie Kirk on September 10th.  He also attended Kirk's memorial in Glendale, Arizona on September 21st. 17 pro-lifers arrested for blocking Memphis Planned Parenthood abortion mill And finally, ten men and seven women spent a night in a Memphis jail on December 5th, after staging a peaceful protest in front of the Memphis, Tennessee Planned Parenthood abortion mill, reports LifeSiteNews.com. The protest was organized by “Rescue Resurrection,” a pro-life group planning “rescue” actions across the country. Those arrested included well-known figures in the pro-life movement: Randall Terry, founder of Operation Rescue; Joan Andrews Bell, a longtime pro-life advocate; Terrisa Bukovinac, director of Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising; Nathan Berning, director of Let Them Live; and Dr. Monica Miller of Citizens for Life, among others. Exhausted from spending a sleepless night in an over-crowded holding cell with no beds, Randall Terry said that “this is a very small price to pay to stand up for the babies.” Video footage of the arrests captured by journalist Ford Fischer shows Terry, Bell, and other pro-life protesters being dragged away by police, because they went limp, before being transported to jail.  And there is video of Joan Andrews Bell, a sernior citizen, being carried away by three Memphis Police Officers. Bell was pardoned by President Trump after being sentenced to two years in prison for a prior abortion clinic blockade for which she was prosecuted under President Biden. No doubt they were inspired by Proverbs 24:11 which says, “Rescue those being led away to death;  hold back those staggering toward slaughter.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Friday, December 12th, in the year of our Lord 2025. Follow us on X or subscribe for free by Spotify, Amazon Music, or by iTunes or email to our unique Christian newscast at www.TheWorldview.com.  I'm Adam McManus (Adam@TheWorldview.com). The devil is just like a stalker prowling around, watching, scheming, seeking someone to devour. And in these chaotic times, he's using deception, manipulation, and emotional brainwashing to pull people into confusion and ultimately into Hell.In this episode, we're talking about how the synagogue of Satan is operating openly today, pushing narratives meant to distract and divide. I am urging my listeners to stay anchored in the Word, remain spiritually alert, and refuse to be seduced by personalities, platforms, or “conservative celebrities” who very well may not be aligned with God's truth.Ultimately, we all need to return to the Bible (now more than ever) and to guard our minds and souls as the days grow darker and darker.--https://www.bible.com/

Our lives are made up of decades, years, minutes, and seconds, and there are 86,400 seconds in each day. Time is an immeasurably valuable commodity, a finite resource we can spend, invest, or waste just like money. We are all given a limited amount of time on earth to live, and then we die. In God's grace and mercy, He knows when that time is for each person. As the awareness of sin marches on, the seconds of our lives tick away. As we walk, we'll trace the same steps once taken by Harry Truman, stopping at the United Nations Peace Plaza and the Auditorium he frequented after returning home from the presidency. Our journey will also take us to the Cutlerite Church and Temple. From the foundational sites of early Mormonism to the stomping grounds of President Harry S. Truman, Independence offers a unique blend of historical insights. The Sacred Ground: Temple Lot Our journey begins at the Temple Lot, a site dedicated by the Mormon Prophet Joseph Smith and other Mormon leaders on August 3, 1831. This area was envisioned as the center of Zion, a grand temple complex. Today, it's surrounded by several significant structures, including the Community of Christ Auditorium and Temple, the LDS Stake Center, and LDS Visitor Center. The Temple Lot Church, sometimes known as the Hedrick-ites, stands prominently. This site has seen its share of trials; the first and second churches built here were both tragically destroyed by fire. A particularly heartbreaking incident in 1990 saw a former member reportedly burn down a church with the misguided belief that it would expedite the rebuilding of the temple. Plans for a larger temple with groundbreaking and footings were halted by the Great Depression, leaving a famous foundation hole. Interestingly, artifacts like stones, found by Otto Fetting, are on display, hinting at the never-realized Greek-style design. The envisioned temple's footprint was surprisingly small, especially compared to later temples like Nauvoo or Salt Lake. Inside the Temple Lot Visitor Center, you can see photographs of early leaders and even a display of the Book of Commandments, a precursor to the Doctrine and Covenants, which is apparently being phased out of print and may be de-canonized. Architectural and Spiritual Diversity: Other Churches of Independence Just a short distance away, we visit the Stone Church, which stands as the oldest church in Missouri built by Joseph Smith III. Its interior, with its large pipe organ, impressive stained-glass windows, and wooden pillars, might remind visitors of the Salt Lake Tabernacle, albeit on a smaller scale. The Remnant Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has its headquarters in the former Chrisman High School, a building that also operates a lunch program for the homeless. A particularly unique stop is the Cutlerite Church, established by Alpheus Cutler in 1853. This small denomination, with fewer than a dozen members (most over 70), maintains a distinctive practice: they are one of the few churches outside the LDS Church and some polygamous groups that practice baptisms for the dead and endowments. Their building serves a dual purpose, with a chapel on the first floor and a "temple area" on the second, where sacred" temple work is conducted. Early Mormon Footprints and Conflicts Independence also holds the memory of early Mormon settlers and the tensions they faced. We visit the site of Edward Partridge's home and the relocated Jones Flournoy Home,...

This gathering truly embodies the idea that there is "more than one way to Mormon". There are various schismatic groups that emerged after the pivotal 1844 schism which Joseph Smith died. These groups form distinct branches of the restoration tradition, each with its own unique history and practices. Major Restoration Churches of the Restoration Following the 1844 schism, two primary branches emerged: The Brighamite Branch: This branch is by far the largest expression of the restoration tradition. It includes: ◦ The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). ◦ All of the fundamentalist churches, such as the Apostolic United Brethren (AUB) which is also called “The Work”, & the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (FLDS Church). ◦ The "new emerging remnant movement" with Denver Snuffer. The Josephite Branch: Named for Joseph Smith III, this branch includes the Community of Christ, formerly known as the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Within the Josephite tradition, there are also: ◦ Independent expressions or "restorationists". These groups broke away from the mainline Community of Christ Church over issues like women in the priesthood and lineal succession. Some of these have grouped together in a confederacy of churches, like the Joint Conference of Restoration Branches (JCRB. See our interview with apostle Patrick McKay.) ◦ The Remnant Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, which is considered a "restorationist church" by Josephites. Figures like Terry Patience, the new prophet-president, and Jim Vun Cannon have been prominent within this church. (Jim now leads a different church, the Everlasting Church of Jesus Christ in the Latter Day.) These "Josephite fundamentalists" are distinct from polygamists. Lesser-Known but Significant Restoration Churches Sunstone also provides a platform for understanding smaller, yet historically significant, schismatic groups: The Bickertonites (Church of Jesus Christ with headquarters in Monongahela, Pennsylvania): ◦ They are generally considered the third largest branch to emerge after the 1844 schism, with an estimated 25,000 members. ◦ They see themselves as "the true one true church" and are noted for retaining spiritual gifts from the Kirtland era, including speaking in tongues and spontaneous services. Their services feature spontaneous talks and no pre-written bulletins, similar to practices found in the Centennial Park group. ◦ Their heartlands are primarily in Pittsburgh and Detroit. ◦ Notably, they have recently produced an academically trained historian, Daniel Stone, who has focused on William Bickerton and their own history.

It's Monday, July 7, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Pakistani Christian girl, kidnapped for two years, escapes A Pakistani Christian girl, who this month escaped the Muslim who kidnapped her, said he forcibly converted her to Islam and repeatedly sexually assaulted her as his so-called “wife,” reports Morning Star News. On the night of May 24, 2023, as her family slept, 14-year-old Muskan Liaqat was kidnapped at gunpoint from her home in Sheikhupura District, by Muhammad Adnan and his father Muhammad Arif. Muskan said, “They took me to their home, where they tortured me and forcibly took my thumb impressions on some papers. I was later told that I had become a Muslim and Adnan was my husband.” A member of the Salvation Army church, Muskan said she was treated as a sex slave. She said, “I was raped and beaten by Adnan … on almost a daily basis. As a result of repeated sexual abuse, I got pregnant in 2024.” Severe torture by Adnan resulted in a miscarriage in the fourth month of her pregnancy. She said, “I used to cry all night and prayed to God to rescue me from this hell, but it looked like my prayers were not reaching Him.” The trauma led her to attempt suicide by cutting her wrist. Judges routinely ignore evidence related to the children's ages, handing them back to kidnappers as their “legal wives.” Thankfully, she got away and is now in a safe house. According to Open Doors, Pakistan, which is 96% Muslim, is the eighth most dangerous country worldwide for Christians. South Korean doctor charged with murder after full-term abortion On July 2nd, a South Korean doctor was arrested and charged with murder following the abortion of a full-term baby last year, reigniting national debate over the country's ambiguous abortion laws and medical ethics, reports LifeSiteNews.com. On June 28, Judge Park Jeong-ho of the Seoul Central District Court approved arrest warrants for the surgeon, identified as Shim, and the facility's director, “Yoon.” Authorities allege the child was born alive and then deliberately left to die, which they say amounts to murder through “willful neglect.” The case dates back to late 2024. Evidence suggests that the baby was alive both before and after the procedure. The abortion was allegedly committed via labor induction – a method that, if resulting in a live birth followed by intentional death, could meet the legal definition of murder under Korean law. The Korean Medical Association condemned the incident, stating: “A fetus at 36 weeks is a baby who could survive well if born, and terminating a pregnancy at this stage is tantamount to murder.” Psalm 139:13-14 says, “For You [God] created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” Trump's Big Beautiful Bill defunded Planned Parenthood Trump's “Big Beautiful Bill,” which he signed into law on Friday, July 4th, defunded Planned Parenthood for a year, reports LifeNews.com. The defunding provision, outlined in Section 44126 of the bill, effectively terminates Medicaid reimbursements to Planned Parenthood for non-abortion services, closing a loophole that has allowed the organization to access federal funds despite the Hyde Amendment's ban on direct taxpayer funding for abortions. Pro-life critics have argued that those Medicaid reimbursements indirectly paid for the abortion giant to kill more babies by abortion. It is the first time that the radical Planned Parenthood abortion business has been defunded. The vote, as we reported on Friday, was 218-214. The new law will redirect hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars to community-based, pro-life healthcare providers and away from Planned Parenthood and Big Abortion. Planned Parenthood, which kills over 400,000 babies in abortions annually, received $700 million in taxpayer funds last fiscal year. Death toll in Texas flash floods climbs to 79, 40 remain missing At least 70 people are dead in central Texas after devastating flash floods slammed the Texas Hill Country, with water rescues taking place along the Guadalupe River, which rose rapidly early Friday morning to the height of a two-story building, reports CBS News. (Watch this video to see the rushing water in Center Point, Texas which tears down trees and threatens a bridge.) A dozen are still missing from Camp Mystic in Kerr County, a children's Christian summer camp. 13-year-old Stella Thompson, a camper who survived, talked with the Dallas NBC affiliate. THOMPSON: “You'd see kayaks in trees. It was horrific, because we had no idea. First responders in the water. There were huge trees ripped out of the ground.” Tragically, in a last act of kindness, Richard Eastland, the director of Camp Mystic, died trying to save campers as floodwaters from the Guadalupe River overwhelmed the camp, which is on the banks of the river, reports the San Antonio Express-News. More than 750 girls were at the camp when the flooding struck. The dead include 38 adults and 21 children, with 18 of the adults and four of the children unidentified.  Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott spoke from the heart. ABBOTT: “When Texans face a challenge, we come together, we unite. We will be relentless in going after and ensuring that we locate every single person who's been a victim of this flooding event. We're not going to stop today or tomorrow. We will stop when the job is completed. This is a 24/7 operation, day and night. We will find every one of them.” Dear Lord, Help the First Responders rescue all of the remaining survivors of this horrific flood. Amen. You can help with a tax-deductible donation to Samaritan's Purse through a special link in our transcript today at www.TheWorldview.com. 22-year-old woman survives, carried 20 miles downstream One bright spot. A 22-year-old woman, who was carried by the raging waters 20 miles from Hunt, Texas to Center Point, survived as she clung to a tree. Carl, who lives along the Guadalupe River, explained what happened to KENS-TV 5. CARL: “True miracle. There's no other way to explain it. “I came up on the deck and she saw me. So, she started to scream out loud. I thought she was in the water going down the river. I finally looked and was able to spot her in the tree. I began to holler back to her. ‘Hey, I see you. We'll get you help. Hang on. Hang on.' Because she was desperate! “After they were able to pluck her out, we brought her into our house and gave her a shower, clothed her because it had stripped all of her clothing off, gave her something to drink, gave her a nap. We called her grandmother in Corpus.” Thankfully, she had no broken bones and only a small wound on the top of her head. Worldview listeners in Colorado and California speak out And finally, two Worldview listeners wrote me at Adam@TheWorldview.com to share what they enjoy about the newscast. Wes Anderson in Grand Junction, Colorado, wrote, “I try to read The Worldview in 5 Minutes transcript every day. I appreciate the Biblical perspective on the news! It's nice to have a news source I can trust!” And Pastor Aaron Hebbard of Remnant Church in Mentone, California, wrote, “Here's what I like: I love the snapshot of the big issues of the day without having to spend precious time chasing various stories.  I treasure the news on the persecuted church; it prompts prayer on behalf of our global brothers and sisters, and sets the stage for the unfathomable things Christ will do with the precious blood of His saints.  I appreciate the occasional call to activism, whether it's a phone call or email to a local politician, or support for a cause, or to join a prayer movement.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Monday, July 7th, in the year of our Lord 2025. Follow us on X or subscribe for free by Spotify, Amazon Music, or by iTunes or email to our unique Christian newscast at www.TheWorldview.com.
