The nuclear family is the backbone of a strong society—without it, we will crumble. In this episode, we're talking about Elon Musk's latest love child with Ashley St. Clair and why Conservatives cannot fall into the trap of normalizing single motherhood and reckless men who create broken families. Strong individuals come from strong families. When the family unit collapses, people become weak, directionless, and ultimately easier for the government to exploit. The more broken the home, the more dependent the individual. And guess who loves that? The people in power who want control over your life. So, we are talking biblical gender roles, marriage, family, and why morals will always matter—even if they stop mattering to everyone else. A father's leadership and a mother's nurturing aren't interchangeable, and no amount of modern delusion will change that. Children need both a mother and a father in the home. And no, morals don't change for you once you're rich. Wh*re culture needs to die because the next generation is at stake.--https://policecoffee.com/?srsltid=AfmBOooc599VmOCGa3oE2DnVcJ4uLA69XDoBZf8ChiOpFqVfKc_BASiR
Join us as we dive into Pastor Peter's powerful message on "Keeping the Faith for Marriages," delivered on February 2nd, 2025. This isn't just a message for married couples; it's a call for the entire church community to embrace a gospel-centered worldview on marriage [1]. Pastor Peter emphasizes that marriage is a divine creation intended to reflect the sacrificial love of Christ for his bride, the church [2]. He encourages the church to be advocates for God's view of marriage, blessing it rather than fighting against it [3, 4]. This message will inspire you to see marriage through God's eyes and to understand its importance in the broader scope of faith and community. Sermon Notes: The Call to Breakthrough: Pastor Peter opens with a call to prayer for personal breakthroughs, whether financial, relational, or spiritual, emphasizing that God is the source of breakthrough [5]. He urges the church to believe for each other's miracles as much as their own [5]. Generational Faith: The sermon is part of a series called "Keep the Faith," focused on passing faith from one generation to another in various categories [5]. Pastor Peter highlights the importance of generational revival and actively participating in God's plan for families, businesses, churches, and cities [6, 7]. Key Scripture: Genesis 1:27 & 2:24 God created humankind in his image, male and female [1]. A man shall leave his parents and hold fast to his wife, becoming one flesh [1, 3]. This "one flesh" union is central to God's definition of marriage [8]. The concept of "leaving and cleaving" is introduced [8]. Leaving: A man's primary loyalty shifts from his parents to his wife, marking a transition to maturity and responsibility [8, 9]. Cleaving: A man is to cling to his wife, sharing a fully integrated life, overriding even blood relationships [9, 10]. Marriage as a Covenant: Marriage is not just a contract between two people but a covenant involving God, which provides the strength and grace to honor the union [9, 10]. The Importance of Godly Foundations: The sermon highlights the need for a strong foundation in God's Word regarding marriage and family [4]. It encourages intentional conversations about God's design for marriage and family [2]. Marriage as a Reflection of Christ: Marriage is meant to reflect the relationship between Christ and the Church, highlighting sacrificial love and devotion [2, 11]. The Church's Role: The church is called to support and uplift marriages, avoiding gossip and negativity, instead, encouraging and believing in the strength and longevity of marriages [10, 11]. The church should be a place where couples can find encouragement, and not judgment [11]. A Call to Action: Pastor Peter concludes with a call for the church to actively engage in ministry to strengthen marriages and offers an invitation to those who want to be on the "front lines" of supporting marriages within the church [11]. He emphasizes the power of a couple's testimony and legacy [11]. Personal Anecdote: Pastor Peter shares his own experience of receiving a blessing from a woman who had been divorced, emphasizing the transformative power of God's grace and healing [11]. Key Takeaways: Marriage is a divine institution, not just a social construct. The church community plays a critical role in supporting and upholding marriages. God's grace and mercy are available to all, regardless of their marital history or current situation. Marriage, as defined by God, is between a man and a woman. The concept of "one flesh" highlights the profound union and commitment within marriage. This podcast episode is an invitation to delve deeper into God's design for marriage and the essential role the church plays in fostering healthy, God-honoring relationships.

In a fast-paced world, it's important to remember the biblical foundation of Covenant Marriage. Striving to honor and prioritize our marriages above our often demanding jobs can definitely be a challenge; not to mention when someone in the office misreads our kindness as an invitation for something else. Guarding our hearts and our marriages in the workplace is what we're discussing in this episode.
The marriage covenant is a beautifully rewarding gift from God. In today's episode, Luis and Kristen discuss the true power of this special pact and the ways that we can remain firm in our marriage.
24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. 25 And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed. - Genesis 2:24-25
Covenant marriage recently made headlines when the new Speaker of the House took his position in Washington, D.C. He has one, and so the media tried to figure out just what it was. They painted covenant marriage as quirky and as weird as they could make it, but the law's roots are based in a good intention...try to stem the tide of divorces across the land. "No-Fault" divorce laws are blamed by some for the dwindling permanence of what once was one of our most cherished relationships...the institution of marriage. So, "covenant marriages," were invented in some states as a legal way to try to “help” couples stay together, with the state getting involved. If you made marriage covenants, are you in a covenant marriage? Listen in to find out.As with most laws Bob examines, there are lots of unintended consequences when the government tries to solve something through laws. Divorce law guru and law firm partner Melissa Benson makes her debut on the show to answer the questions. Covenant Marriage: Do you have one? Should you have one? What happens if it blows up?

Ankur and I tease apart what is good and what is retrograde in his views.

In this episode, I am talking to my friend and mentor, Aimée Gianni, about how to have a covenant marriage. So often we stay in our broken marriages because we made a covenant. But what if doing that is actually breaking your covenant? Aimée offers some amazing things to think about if we are at the point where we are thinking about divorce. Even if we're happy in your marriage, her advice can help us progress along the path. We sat down this week with Andrew's maternal grandparents who just celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary! They share insights into the struggles young Latter-day Saint couples faced when they were first married and the things they did to overcome them. They then talk about how those lessons can benefit us today. Grandma also shares about a time she felt “like an elephant was crapping on (her) head” and grandpa's witty response that has still remained a catch phrase in their marriage decades later. These great people are leaving a spiritual legacy and inheritance that is currently and will continue to bless their descendants throughout the eternities. We LOVE them and this episode.
