(This podcast was previously recorded and published on June 9, 2020)    Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney  ...    On January 10, 1980, God spoke to me in the night while I was sleeping, to give me words of instruction as follows:  "Hartford, Seattle, KWJS"   By these words, God put me on radio to exhort the church.   One of the offices given me for the church by Jesus is the office of a prophet.  (Eph. 4:11)   Prophets are sent to the church.  But God says in the Bible the church will not receive the prophets that HE sends to them.  Also the churches kill the prophets by stopping them from speaking to the church.   So God put me on radio to speak to the church.   The church ministers and congregations could not censor my broadcasts although when I spoke judgment messages, after being on radio for approximately 3 years, some of the radio stations, two of which were owned by Jimmy Swaggart, put me off the air. *****   One other thing, I need to mention immediately, is this:    When I was born again in 1975, God led me to get out of debt and to stay out of debt.  If I had been in debt at any point in the next 40 years, I don't see how I would have been able to do the things God showed me to do.   *** Several years after radio,  God showed me in a dream to begin writing a blog.  (Starting in late March, 2012)   No one censors the blog so I write everything I believe to be from God.   Then God showed me to write ministry books on Amazon, beginning in 2015.   No one censors these books.   Then in 2020, God showed me to begin Podcasts, which we added in February, 2020.   No one censors these broadcasts.   These exhortation for the church go all over the world today on blog, by books, and by Podcasts.  They are free to all, and it costs the ministry almost no money to send these out by these methods!   And critical is the point that I am free to speak anything God gives me.     By prophets, God sends corrections and warnings to the church, so we who are prophets must be able to speak without censorship.  *** Through the years, the people who sent offerings decreased greatly.     But we have an abundance of money today, in spite of the small number of people who give us offerings, because God led me in a way whereby we prospered wonderfully! *** * 1984:  God led me to build an apartment on property owned by my dad. (Cost: $45,000, but my dad left me $50,000 so I could pay cash for this building and had no mortgage, no debt.)   * 1987:  Purchased lot on local golf course. (Cost. $13,250 ... paid cash)   * 1990: I sold apartment and built a house on golf course for my mother and myself. (Cost $100,000 ... paid cash)   * 2002: Sold house on golf course for $227,000.   * 2002:  Began construction on another house and moved to Lubbock, Texas.  (Paid cash, no mortgage, no debt ... used money from sale of previous house and I loaned the ministry all my personal money which was left to me by my family ... used this money for construction expense)   * Approximately 2003: Stopped receiving salary from ministry and paid for my personal expenses with money received from monthly USA Social Security.   * 2018:  Accidental fall at my house required me to have surgery.  By that time I was age of 81.  After surgery, moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado to live in home of a member of body of Christ.  She didn't want any money for my room/bath at her home but I insisted on paying her $575 per month for this, which included office space for ministry.   * January, 2019: House in Texas put up for sale.    Until Texas house sold, we had to pay utilities and other expenses to keep up the house in Texas.  We also had new expenses in Colorado.  Because of my physical condition after surgery, I could not walk up the steps to get into Pam Padgett's house where I was living.  So we had a ramp installed which I paid for with personal savings.  We added a concrete slab for parking of my car.  I had to purchase a small sized bed for my room. And we had moving expenses for other furniture brought from Texas.   By this time, our offerings were so small that Pam and I had to pay for ministry expenses out of our own savings.  We knew we could repay ourselves after house in Texas sold.   * May 15, 2020:  House in Texas sold for $307,000.  This allow us to reimburse ourselves for expenses which we had paid during the previous 1 1/2 years.  And ministry still had $190,000 cleared from sale of the Texas house which we put into Money Market account at bank.   The various building projects between 1984-2003, started with a cost of  $45,000 and finished with profit of $285,000 after sale of Texas house.  (after title expenses and realtor fees which we paid on Texas house.) *** So through the accumulation of money each time we sold property, we have enough money now to pay for ministry even though we have only a few people giving offerings.   Through the past 40+ years I have never been a salaried minister at any church.  I have been kept free to speak anything God has given me to speak.  I had not had to hold back messages for fear of what they might do to me in those churches if I spoke the messages given to me by God.   God arranged it for me to freely operate in the office of a prophet.   Hebrews 13:5-6   5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.   *** I have endured much grief from people who say they are Christians, who have tried to stop me from speaking to the church as a prophet of God.   But God always provided ways for me to speak to the church through radio, through blog, through books, and now through Podcasts!   Through the years, many who once gave offerings to ministry left me and stopped giving money.   But God always saw that I had money and provided for all needs to be met even when there were less offerings.   The various houses which I built between the years of 1984-2002, ended up providing $190,000 to be used to support the ministry today, so there is no need.   And expenses for the ministry changed dramatically through the years, decreasing!   The exhortations go all over the world today and are available to all persons without charge.   * Blog:  no expenses to ministry * Books on Amazon cost us nothing to publish and we receive a small royalty each month for books that sell on Amazon.     * Podcasts: Cost $100 per year  to send through our podcast host, Podbean *** As you can see, God made a way for me to distribute exhortations and corrections to the church without being censored and even without expense to ministry.   God made a way for us to have money even with a very small number of people giving offerings.   God made a way for all messages to go all over the world without cost to us.   And when I am persecuted by the church people because of the messages I speak, God always restores my soul and sets me back on my feet and renews my joy in HIS Word.    (For it is a way of life for prophets of God to be persecuted by the church people because of the messages from God.  All through the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, we see the prophets persecuted by the churches and by the Jews, to whom God sends the prophets.) *** So God keeps me and leads me and continues to see that good comes to me on this earth.   And I am fully persuaded that God will continue to support me as long as HE chooses to leave me on this present earth.   Also I know all this was planned by God.  None of us could have planned these things.  Only God knows what is in the future.   Only God knew that there was going to be Internet, blogs, podcasts, and e-books.  None of these things existed in 1980 when I began in ministry.   God had every step planned and all I had to do was follow God:  "One step at a time.  One step at a time.  It is enough."  God said to me.   And that is all you have to do.  Follow what God shows you, one step at a time.  Then as you look back, you will rejoice in God, in that which God showed you to do, and not in that which "you" did.   ==   Ezekiel 2:3-7   And HE said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against ME: they and their fathers have transgressed against ME, even unto this very day.   4 For they are impudent children and stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God.   5 And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.   6 And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.   7 And thou shalt speak MY words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.     2 Timothy 4:14-15 Paul warned of an offender by name ... Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works: 15 Of whom be thou ware also; for he hath greatly withstood our words.     Ephesians 4:8,11-12  Jesus sets ministers in the church ... Wherefore HE saith, When HE ascended up on high, HE led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.   11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:     2 Corinthians 6:14   Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Tuesday, 15 July 2025   All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. Matthew 11:27   “All, it was delivered to Me by My Father. And none, he knows the Son if not the Father, nor any he knows the Father if not the Son, and whom if the Son He should will to reveal” (CG).   In the previous verse, Jesus acknowledged the Father's decisions, noting that it was satisfaction before Him. Now, to build upon that thought, He next says, “All, it was delivered to Me by My Father.”   The context of the word “all” determines the meaning. He has just referred to things hidden by the Father from the wise and prudent but which have been revealed to infants. Jesus is saying that these hidden things have been delivered to Him by His Father. He is the central focus of the illumination of the plan that the Father has set forth. From there, He continues with, “And none, he knows the Son if not the Father.”   Jesus has rebuked the cities where His miracles took place. He came in the Father's name because He is the Messiah. Only the Father knew this at first because He was with the Father in the beginning. Eventually, the time came for God to reveal Himself in the Person of Jesus, the incarnate Word and the Son of God. Only the Father could reveal this because He came from the Father –    “Jesus said to them, ‘If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me.'” John 8:42   God could have established His covenant with the Peruvians or the Thai people. Instead, it was with Israel. He chose them to reveal Himself and His plans and purposes. At a certain point, He could have chosen someone named Ben Gad to witness to Israel. Instead, He chose Isaiah. He could have chosen Gibeah to be His capital, but He instead chose Jerusalem.   God has been guiding the plan of redemption in a carefully set forth and methodically implemented way that ultimately leads to the coming of Christ. Along the way, He selected people to receive, write, and compile His word. The word tells of Christ Jesus, but not everyone has accepted that premise. But the Father knows the Son. Likewise, Jesus continues, saying, “nor any he knows the Father if not the Son.”   Because Jesus came from God, He intimately knows the Father. They are in eternal union. The knowledge of the Father is thus to be understood as knowing the Son. Again, Jesus said this to them explicitly –   “Then they said to Him, ‘Where is Your Father?' Jesus answered, ‘You know neither Me nor My Father. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also.'” John 8:19   Jesus unambiguously ties the knowledge of Himself to having knowledge of the Father. If the Son is rejected, the Father is by default rejected. It would make no sense to say, “I want that piece of bread, but I don't want the dough in it.” The dough is the bread, and the bread is the dough. How much more is God One!? He is. He is unchanging. He is One. With this stated, His words of this verse finish with, “and whom if the Son He should will to reveal.”   Jesus uses the same word, apokaluptó, to take off the cover and thus disclose, that He just used in verse 11:25. He is tying the two thoughts together –   ...You revealed them to infants ... and whom if the Son He should will to reveal   The hidden things of God are revealed by God. His word didn't come through the Edomites or Moabites. It came through Israel. God revealed Himself to Abraham, He covenanted with him, and continued His revelation through a particular chosen line. He presented Himself to Israel at Mount Sinai in a formal, covenant-making way.   He revealed His faithfulness to them despite their constant turning from Him. He sent His word through the prophets. He judged, exiled, and returned the people at the time of the Babylonian exile. He faithfully maintained them under foreign rule, and He sent His Messiah into the world at the time prophesied in His word.   And there stood Jesus, the fulfillment of all that God laid forth from the beginning. And yet, despite His works that validated His messiahship, the people refused to believe. The wise and sagacious of Israel, the stewards of God's word, failed to believe their own writings –   “And the Father Himself, who sent Me, has testified of Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time, nor seen His form. 38 But you do not have His word abiding in you, because whom He sent, Him you do not believe. 39 You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. 40 But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.” John 5:37-40   Despite their failure to acknowledge the Son and thus the Father, there are those who believe. These are those to whom the Father and the Son are revealed –   “He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:11-13   The choice of revealing by God is not active in the sense that God says, “I will make this person believe and this person not believe.” Rather, the choosing spoken of here is in the sense of, “I will present My Son to the world. Some will believe Him, some will not. Those who do are those whom I have chosen to reveal Myself to.” Paul confirms this when he says –   “Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision, 20 but declared first to those in Damascus and in Jerusalem, and throughout all the region of Judea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent, turn to God, and do works befitting repentance.” Acts 26:19, 20   Paul could have said, “I just cannot accept these things. I am checking into a hospital to clear my head and get back to my work. However, he had sufficient evidence to support his calling. He chose to accept it, and he continued on in his apostleship from there.   Life application: Because of what Jesus says in His words in Matthew 11:27, and because it aligns with everything He said and that the Bible proclaims concerning a right relationship with God, there is a formula we must consider.   Jesus is not physically here among us today. Jesus has claimed that we cannot know the Father without knowing Him. We cannot know Jesus, because of His absence, without knowing the word that tells of Him –   You cannot know God without knowing Jesus. You cannot know Jesus without knowing the word that reveals Jesus. Therefore, you cannot know God without knowing the word.   Read and know the Bible if you desire to know, be pleasing to, and have a right relationship with the God who created all things. And when you read it, look for Jesus. In finding Jesus, you will find the Father –   “Do not think that I shall accuse you to the Father; there is one who accuses you—Moses, in whom you trust. 46 For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me. 47 But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?” John 5:45-47   The word tells of Jesus. To accept the writings of the word, one must accept Jesus. And in knowing Jesus, God will be made manifest –   “No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.” John 1:18   Jesus is the One who exegetes the Father, declaring Him to the world. Look to Jesus and you will find God.   Lord God, help us to fix our eyes on Jesus. In doing so, we will have our eyes on You because You have revealed Yourself through Him. May we always come to Your word with this in mind as we seek out Your glory in the manner You have chosen to reveal it. Amen.

No amount of effort or ingenuity could ever bridge that gap. Yet, into this hopelessness, God Himself provided the only solution. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, not just to show the way, but to be the way—the one and only mediator who could bring sinful humanity back into fellowship with God. Today, we turn to one of the most powerful and foundational texts in Scripture: 1 Timothy 2:5-7. Paul, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, declares with clarity and urgency, “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.” This passage confronts a world that loves to believe in “many ways” to God, in endless “doors” to heaven. It contradicts a culture that prizes individualism and self-made spirituality. But here we see an unyielding truth: There are not many ways, only one. There are not many mediators, only one. There are not many doors, only one—Jesus Christ, the one who gave Himself as a ransom for all. This message is more than theology; it is the heartbeat of the gospel. It declares the exclusivity of Jesus as the only means of salvation and emphasizes that His work on the cross was sufficient and final.

Chapter 1:Summary of The Gay Science"The Gay Science" (German: "Die fröhliche Wissenschaft") is a philosophical work by Friedrich Nietzsche, first published in multiple volumes in 1882, with a revised edition released in 1887. It is known for its exploration of themes such as art, life, morality, and the nature of truth. Key Themes and Ideas:1. The Affirmation of Life: Nietzsche emphasizes the importance of embracing life and existence, with all its chaos and suffering. He champions a joyous and celebratory approach to life, encouraging individuals to find meaning through personal experiences rather than adhering to dogmatic beliefs.2. Eternal Recurrence: One of the central concepts introduced in "The Gay Science" is the idea of eternal recurrence, which posits that one should live as though they were to relive their life infinitely. This thought experiment challenges readers to evaluate their choices and attitudes toward existence.3. Critique of Religion and Morality: Nietzsche critiques traditional moral values and religious doctrines, particularly those of Christianity, arguing for a revaluation of morals. He advocates for the development of personal values and the idea of creating one's own path in life.4. The Role of the Artist: Nietzsche sees the artist as a figure who can joyfully express and affirm life. He emphasizes creativity and the transformative power of art as means to explore and understand the human experience.5. The Death of God: The phrase "God is dead" encapsulates Nietzsche's assertion that traditional religious beliefs have lost their power in the modern world. He explores the implications of this "death" for morality, meaning, and the search for truth in a secular age.6. Knowledge and Truth: Nietzsche questions the objective nature of truth, suggesting that our perceptions and interpretations are inherently subjective. He portrays knowledge as a dynamic, evolving process rather than a fixed set of facts.7. Joy and Suffering: The book presents a nuanced understanding that joy and suffering are interconnected. Nietzsche argues for the acceptance of life's difficulties as integral to personal growth and authentic living. Structure:"The Gay Science" is divided into several sections, with aphorisms, poems, and essays that reflect Nietzsche's thoughts and insights on various subjects. This structure allows for a playful, yet profound exploration of ideas, embodying the "gay" or joyful spirit that Nietzsche advocates.Overall, "The Gay Science" is regarded as a significant work that lays the groundwork for Nietzsche's later writings and philosophical developments, particularly regarding existentialism and nihilism. It invites readers to engage with life's complexities and to find beauty and meaning in the act of living itself.Chapter 2:The Theme of The Gay Science"The Gay Science" ("Die fröhliche Wissenschaft") is a philosophical work by Friedrich Nietzsche, published initially in 1882, with several revisions in later editions. It is a foundational text in Nietzsche's thought and his exploration of various themes crucial to modern philosophy. Below are some key plot points, character-like elements, and thematic ideas that are central to this work. Key Plot Points1. The Death of God: One of the most famous proclamations in "The Gay Science" is the declaration of the "death of God." Nietzsche presents this idea through a parable, where a madman announces that God is dead and mourns the implications for morality, meaning, and existence in a secular age.2. Eternal Recurrence: Nietzsche introduces the concept of eternal recurrence, inviting readers to contemplate the idea that one might have to live their life over and over again, perpetually. This thought experiment challenges individuals to consider how they live and whether they embrace...

It is hard to believe that summer ends in less than two weeks. Students are back in school, enjoying their surroundings, making new friends, and taking that next step in a journey that will, pray God, lead to great accomplishments. We will learn about the classes, the faculty, the food, and the fun that the start of a new academic year brings each year to our young people. But will we ask the most important question: How are our loved ones doing spiritually? Parents, you will continue to play a critical role, whether your sons or daughters attend a school across town or a college across the country. Impart upon your children the willingness to stay strong, courageous, and steadfast when their faith may not by embraced, or perhaps even rejected by others. Be their guide and support!

Acts 9:1-6, 18-22 ESV 9 But Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest 2 and asked him for letters to the synagogues at Damascus, so that if he found any belonging to the Way, men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem. 3 Now as he went on his way, he approached Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven shone around him. 4 And falling to the ground, he heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?” 5 And he said, “Who are you, Lord?” And he said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. 6 But rise and enter the city, and you will be told what you are to do.” 18 And immediately something like scales fell from his eyes, and he regained his sight. Then he rose and was baptized; 19 and taking food, he was strengthened. For some days he was with the disciples at Damascus. 20 And immediately he proclaimed Jesus in the synagogues, saying, “He is the Son of God.” 21 And all who heard him were amazed and said, “Is not this the man who made havoc in Jerusalem of those who called upon this name? And has he not come here for this purpose, to bring them bound before the chief priests?” 22 But Saul increased all the more in strength, and confounded the Jews who lived in Damascus by proving that Jesus was the Christ.

And a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house. 39 And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet and listened to his teaching. 40 But Martha was distracted with much serving. And she went up to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me.” 41 But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, 42 but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.”

Jesus did indeed come to transform the world, but not from the top down, rather from the bottom up, one heart at a time. If we want to make the world a better place, let's start with our own heart. God wants to make us holy. Holiness is his work, but like the farmer we must cooperate with it and help that growth, by protecting the seed he planted, watering it and fertilizing it with our prayer, especially with scripture, reception of the sacraments, study and service. Exploring Advaita Vedanta and The Journey to Self-Realization with Swami SarvapriyanandaIn this detailed conversation on 'The Bearded Mystic's Oneness Conversations', Rahul hosts Swami Sarvapriyananda, a renowned teacher of Advaita Vedanta and the spiritual leader of the Vedanta Society of New York. Swami Sarvapriyananda discusses the concept of Brahma Gyan (knowledge of Brahman), emphasizing that the ultimate reality, according to Advaita Vedanta, is the understanding 'I am Brahman'. He elaborates on the profound yet subtle nature of this realization and its significance in surpassing suffering and achieving the true goal of life. Furthermore, he addresses various philosophic branches related to reality, knowledge, and value, and how Advaita Vedanta's answer to these fundamental questions is Brahman. The conversation also touches on mystic experiences, the importance of preparation and desire in spiritual progression, and the relevance of Vedanta in everyday life. Swami Sarvapriyananda advises on handling worldly desires and stresses the importance of continuous spiritual inquiry and effort. The discourse concludes with insights into the role of grace in spiritual awakening and the essential attitude of renunciation for genuine seekers, reinforcing the idea that anyone, regardless of their lifestyle, can embark on the path to enlightenment.0:00 Conversation with Swami Sarvapriyananda00:57 What is Brahm Gyana08:16 The Insight into Brahman09:58 How can I see God?24:21 Why do people leave Nonduality and go back to Dualistic Paths33:49 Is Being Aware of Being Aware enough? 40:05 Being a Spiritual Seeker41:55 Should we change spiritual lineages in the internet age?49:16 Are Guru and God One?53:04 How can we open ourselves to Grace?56:32 How to read  spiritual texts that tell you to be a sanyasi or monk?59:40 A Question that hasn't been asked yet to Swami ji?01:02:08 What do we do if vasanas overwhelm the mind?01:07:03 Thank you and what's in store for the next podcast with Swami jiPatreon: Support The Bearded Mystic Podcast and get ad-free, bonus episodes along with many more benefits:https://www.patreon.com/thebeardedmysticpodcastJoin The Bearded Mystic Podcast Discussion Group on Whatsapp:  https://chat.whatsapp.com/GcCnyrjQwLuEPHBaVA6q9LBe notified of my monthly virtual meditation session followed by a Q&A Discussion via zoom (Notifications only):https://chat.whatsapp.com/DcdnuDMeRnW53E0seVp28bPlease rate and write a review for this Podcast: https://www.thebeardedmysticpodcast.com/reviews/new/You can follow me and contact me on social media:Website: https://www.thebeardedmysticpodcast.comTikTok: https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMdk3HPJh/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thebeardedmysticpodcast/Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/c/TheBeardedMysticPodcast/Twitter: https://twitter.com/bearded_mysticFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/The-Bearded-Mystic-PodcastSupport the show

Scripture Reading: Luke 1:30-35  Matthew 3:16-17  Hebrews 1:1-3  Jesus: Son of God One of the foundational things to be said about Jesus is that He was/is the Son of God.  The angel declared this wonder to Mary.  "And the angel answered her, 'The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy - the Son of God'" (Lk 1:35).   Simon Peter declared this wonder when Jesus asked what the disciples thought about His identity.  "Simon Peter replied, 'You are the Christ, the Son of the living God'" (Mt 16:16). The ramifications of this glorious reality are massive and profound.  One conclusion to be drawn from the fact that Jesus is the Son of God is that Jesus is deity.  He is not only the Son of God … He is God the Son.  This truth is denied by most people who affirm that Jesus was a historical figure.  A second conclusion to be drawn from Jesus being the Son of God is the relationship of infinite love between the Father and the Son.  At Jesus' baptism (Mt 3:17) and on the mount of transfiguration (Mt 17:5) God's voice from heaven declared "This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased." To be united with the Son of God, as all Christians are, means that we become children of God, by adoption, and have the unimaginable privilege of addressing God as 'Father' (Eph 1:5; Gal 4:4-6).

#1 Mexico City: Opening Session - Recordar a Dios (Remember God)- One-Day RetreatDavid and the Living Miracles team share an opening session in Mexico City. Marina Colombo and Ana Paola offer the Spanish translations of David's English spoken words. This day's theme is remembering God, which requires us to forget this world and come with open arms to our God. Jesus calls us to remember God before time, as He was before Abraham, and we are. The Course in Miracles teaches us that atonement is a complete escape from the past, and the ego does not understand this. To remember God, we must forget all thoughts of time and be practical. Jesus knows we need steps to accept this, such as vanishing memories, letting go of everything we've learned, and even letting go of the future. The ego has invented linear time, splitting time into past and future compartments, part of being human. The belief in the past and future is a trick to keep us from remembering God.If you want to know more about David Hoffmeister and Living Miracles events, here is more information: https://circle.livingmiraclescenter.org/events.Join our online community: https://programs.the-christ.net/products/communities/tribe-of-christRecorded on the Morning of November 25, 2023, in Mexico City, Mexico.

It is easy to see where people place their trust. What people trust in and rely on is what the rest of their life is centered around. Whether it is money, success, or popularity, everyone places their trust somewhere. But as followers of Jesus, we are called to fully trust in God. In this message, we will look at the story of Jesus' interaction with a very successful man. By common standards, he had achieved great things. But when fully following Jesus required him to trust God instead of his money, he couldn't commit. The idea of giving God complete control of his life caused him to walk away. How will you respond when God calls you to fully trust in Him?

Dearest Listeners, I spent some time comparing the cost versus reward of writing out show notes each week. As someone who watches movie trailers before I fully commit to any film, I can understand the desire to have a hint of what's coming in each episode before you take time to listen. However, as someone whose very soul is sucked dry each time I attempt to write a captivating script that gives you details you could easily find by checking out each guest's social media and/or website, I have determined the cost is greater than the reward.     This week it's just Bethany sharing some of what God has been teaching her recently.  We value your feedback and we pray this episode is as much a gift to you listening as it was for us recording it!  Connect with hey girl podcast  Instagram || Facebook || Twitter    Connect with Bethany  Website  || Instagram || Facebook
