Project ALF – the reunion movie nobody asked for, or were sorry they did after it aired. This 1996 movie aired six years after the beloved tv comedy ended abruptly. Does it gives us a sense of closure? Well, the Tanner family is not in it, so that's up for debate. Join us in The Clubhouse as we debate whether it helped or hindered the franchise. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_ALF https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ALF_(TV_series) https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0117397/ https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001208/awards/?ref_=nm_awd https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001208/?ref_=tt_cl_t_1 https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001208/?ref_=tt_cl_t_1 https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000640/?ref_=tt_cl_t_18 https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000640/awards/?ref_=nm_awd https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000893/?ref_=tt_cl_t_16 https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000893/awards/?ref_=nm_awd https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yqjUxGb3DkQ

Contents: Plot Cast Production International broadcast history Home media Awards Syndication International broadcast Spinoffs and related programming ALF (TV series) ALF is an American television show sitcom that aired on NBC from September 22, 1986, to March 24, 1990. The title character is ALF, (an acronym for "Alien Life Form" whose real name is Gordon Shumway) who crash-lands in the garage of the suburban middle-class Tanner family. The series stars Max Wright as father Willie Tanner, Anne Schedeen as mother Kate Tanner and Andrea Elson and Benji Gregory as their children, Lynn and Brian Tanner. ALF was performed by puppeteer Paul Fusco, who co-created the show with Tom Patchett. Produced by Alien Productions, ALF originally ran for four seasons and produced 99 episodes, including three one-hour episodes, ("Try to Remember", "ALF's Special Christmas" and "Tonight, Tonight") that were divided into two parts for syndication, totaling 102 episodes. The series proper concluded with an unresolved cliffhanger, but a later TV movie, Project: ALF, served as a series finale for the franchise. In August 2018, Warner Bros. Television announced development of an ALF reboot. These plans were cancelled in November of that year. In February 2022, it was announced that Shout! Factory had acquired distribution rights to the ALF titles, and would "develop new ALF-related content." San Diego skateboarding LEGEND Alphonzo Rawls, grew up just like any other 80's skate rat. Spent hours with friends at the local curb-cut. That eventually led to meeting new friends, going to the local skateparks & contests, etc. The terrain was limited, the vibes were high and skateboarding was a way of life. Today, we're gonna talk about those times, and more on the mighty, mighty WCRP on Skateboarding. Tune in, as Alf talks the evolution late 80s/early 90s vert. Traditional life paths vs skateboarding. What really went down at that Muenster contest. Lack of spots, sitting in cars and being pro in the mid-90s. The similarities of skating vert, and big handrails. Adapting to different eras, fulfillment in life, stanky leg 360 flips and all things skateboarding! Thank you once again, for you time Alf! Be on the lookout for the limited #EverybodySkates “Thank You” board. Dropping tomorrow, at noon. With proceeds going to Super Skate Posse. You know how we do about this time.. Let's GO!!- Clyde Singleton
This week's episode of Adam Analyzes, takes us back to 1996 with the sequel to the ALF sitcom, Project: ALF. A film that doesn't exactly break new ground or betray what came before in the original show, is sadly an unloved entry in the saga known as ALF. But given its reputation and the noticeable absence of the Tanner family from the TV show (Which makes sense with how the original show ended), is this actually a bad follow-up and film? Have a listen and hide your cats, this week's episode is about your favorite alien from Melmac!! --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/adamanalyzes/support

Editor's note (from the future!): The audio quality from this episode is terrible. There's no other way around it. I am choosing to leave the show up however because who knows, someone might be able to stand it. But I promise you it gets better so if you're checking us out for the first time, scoot ahead a few episodes for an improvement and then over the years we've gotten way better. Thanks for tuning in, we love you -VanMost of us go through life wanting to strangle whatever wisecracking puppet is nearest to us, but Max Wright who played Willie Tanner on ALF actually accomplished this goal at one point losing his temper and assaulting our brown hero! On today's show Spencer, Brian, and Van head back to the Tanner household to review Season 4 Episode 4 of ALF called "We're in the Money." The boys discuss ALF's amazing ability to learn new skills as well as talk about the ending to ALF, the made for TV movie "Project ALF," and all the juiciest behind the scenes stuff! Hey, ALFheads this is another episode of my new side podcast I Am, Therefore I Watch Alf! This episode is for Project: ALF. This is the final episode of this series, thank you.
Join your hosts Rob Galluzzo, Elric Kane, Ryan Turek, and Rebekah McKendry as they sign off on the latest horrors, including Vinegar Syndrome's BERSERKER, THE ADDAMS FAMILY, Scream Factory's OMEN collection, ITSY BITSY, HAUNT, DEATH GAME (1977), REC and more! They're then joined by actor W. Earl Brown, most well known to horror fans as cameraman Kenny Jones in the original SCREAM! He shares tons of stories about his time with Wes Craven, playing Dan Dority in DEADWOOD, his time on X-FILES, PROJECT: ALF, LOST SOULS, THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY and much, much more.
You’ve almost certainly seen W. Earl Brown's name in the credits of dozens of movies and TV series over the years, including such classics as Scream and There’s Something About Mary, and he’s also a familiar face to fans of HBO’s Deadwood, but it will come as no surprise to regular listeners to this podcast that the only time we talk about any of these projects are - at best - in passing. Fortunately, however, by the time you’ve made it to the end of our conversation, you’ll have heard stories about working Kris Kristofferson, Robin Williams, and Burt Reynolds, playing Meat Loaf, and appearing in Project: ALF. Yes, you read that correctly: Project: ALF. You’re welcome, America.
It's the start of the scariest October ever, told all through TV movies. Mark and Andrew first tackle the scariest damn alien invasion we've ever seen. Scream in terror at awkward pop culture references, shudder at slow pacing and recoil with the knowledge that ALF might return sometime next year. It's ABC's Project: ALF on TV Movie Night!
In this super-sized episode of Pillow Talk, we get Bill's thoughts on Harper Lee's new novel, "Go Set A Watchman." Also, the boys discuss the Super Hero Super Bracket, the movie "Project ALF", we have an installment of Nick's Conspiracy Corner and a discussion of the premiere episode of "Fear the Walking Dead." PLUS, it's our first ever musical intermission featuring the song "Civil War" by TREN. Man, this episode is absolutely jam-packed!

http://searchforschlock.com/media/podcasts/sfs-039-ProjectAlf.mp3 Download MP3 In 1990, the producers of the declining hit puppet sitcom ALF were given a handshake promise of a season renewal. Season ending cliffhangers were all the rage right that second, so they ended the last episode with a tense standoff in which ALF's existence is discovered by the Alien Task Force, and the Tanners -- ALF's adopted human family -- seem powerless to intervene. And then the show was cancelled. ("Ha! I kill me!" -- anonymous network executive who surprise-cancelled ALF, probably.) For reasons that I'm going to assume are directly related to the runaway success of Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, idiosyncratic ALF creator Paul Fusco got the opportunity to tie up the loose ends that had bedeviled the nation for six long years with a TV movie. There's still no movie about what happened to VICI and the Lawsons, though. Original post located at searchforschlock.com.
