Fresh from his crowd slaying closing set at Panorama bar with us and to celebrate his disco inferno of a track 'Last Minute' on our 15 Years Of SB album dropping next week, we got Mr Cleen in to the Guestmix hotseat. "These are some of the records that I ordered on the internet. Some others I found in spectacular non-virtual places. Making tracks smooch is what I like. Especially in front of people who then dance. I love DJing :) Book me for your party" You know the drill, strap in and let the meister of records do his thing! 15 Years Of SB will be dropping on Double 12" Vinyl August 1st here: https://fanlink.tv/sb15 @joecleen
Philly native DJ Matpat is in the hot seat this mix with some tasty cuts of House for your ear holes! "This mix was recorded in one take at Say No More, a little lounge in Philly with a great Soundsystem and booth. I selected tracks to align around the sound of my latest single ‘Deeper In Love', a classic vocal house track that has helped open up another lane in my productions. Every track on here I love, some new, some old, but all straight up house music for a feel good dancefloor." Between fronting his label CLUBBY BOY & continuing his 10 year running party CLUB CONGRESS in both Philadelphia and New York, 2025 is looking to be an exciting year for the American producer. @matpat
Ever since his first exposure to House music in the 90s, Salin has thrown himself into producing, DJing and all facets of hardware discovery. His initial work on white labels and edits blossomed into the formation of Salin Records, which he has used as an outlet for his recent creative expressions. His sound is firmly established in house traditions, with expert groove lines and melodic sequences being utilized to full effect, but it is his love of equipment which has continued to fuel his desire to explore his sound to the fullest. His tunes are fun, fresh and emotive, bringing together the very best of the genre, with his own personal twist on things riding front and centre throughout his enriching discography. "Thank you so much for inviting me to take part in your guest mix series. It means a lot to me to be here, so I created two edits for this mix. I have also included some unreleased tracks and demos and "Let's Go Deep" and "Keep It Up" from my latest EP "Raw Stuff" which came out Friday this week (June 27th). I recorded the whole mix live in my studio using two XDJs, two SL1210 MK2s and a Radius 4 rotary mixer and FX unit. I haven't edited anything afterwards, as I wanted to preserve the energy of a live set (mistakes and all). I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed recording it!" - @christophesalin

With a new EP out on his own Brooklyn based Onysia label featuring tracks from himself, Rick Wade & Jeremy Sylvester, we got the bossman in to showcase what he and the label is about! "The mix is an Onysia label spotlight, with a lot of forthcoming / unreleased material and a lot of my own productions. I've been wanting to do this for quite a while, so already had some concept / idea of how to approach it... At first it felt like this whole new challenge making a mix from a fixed, relatively small pool of tracks but then realized this is music which does fit together very well and does possess a particular aesthetic, and the process just flowed. It really does represent the Onysia sound, which I've worked very hard to curate and ensure a certain cohesion even as the scope of the label grows. The mix weaves in and out of more contemplative moments and clubbier sounds, which is how I like to experience music on the dancefloor, but it's also very tailored for home listening. It's always funny how you know a track so well, have been playing it for years, maybe you've even made it yourself. But you get a new perspective mixing it with other tracks, and depending on how it's presented within the context of a set. It's great to feel refreshed and finally share a label showcase mix !" @onysia

Tracklist on https://slothboogie.com/ Bristol-based producer Sean McCabe has amassed an impressive discography, delivering inspired releases and reworks for the likes of Local Talk, Z Records, Strictly Rhythm, Room Control, Tribe, Quantize and his own label Good Vibrations Music. Releasing his first tracks in 2003, he has fine-tuned a trademark sound that is effortlessly soulful and definitely house. A quick listen to any of his productions or DJ sets will confirm this emotion-rich aesthetic. Constantly learning and evolving, taking his sound in different directions, McCabe admits to a love of vintage synthesizers – picked up from listening to classic New York boogie and ‘80s soul. "I always like to play a mix of styles in a set to keep it interesting and represent the different styles that I like. I selected about 50 tracks that I felt like playing, to give me options, some recently released and some forthcoming. I made up the structure as I went along based on how I felt in the moment. It starts with a blend of soulful songs and funky/jazzy grooves, then delves into deeper driving tracks to build some anticipation, like a crescendo of some sort, then relieve the tension with music that has a resolving feel to it and end with some broken beat and jazzy ear candy. I think this is typical of how I try to programme my mixes. Like a very long chord progression or song structure; set mood, build tension, resolve, home, then repeat. I also like to make sure I don't play too many vocals or dubs/instrumentals in a row. So I try to keep it varied in that respect too." - https://soundcloud.com/seanmccabe
In honour of my new EP, Breeze FM, I thought I'd put together 60 mins of some of the dance music that inspired the making of the record. The mix is equal parts deep house, italo, balearic -- all with a light and breezy touch. There's some relatively new music in there, and a couple classics too. It's as easy to dance to, as it is to put on while you're making dinner. I had an absolute blast putting this together, and I hope you love what you hear! Stay Breezy! The brand new Breeze FM EP is out now on SlothBoogie Recordings - https://pacificcoliseum.bandcamp.com/album/breeze-fm-ep @pacific-coliseum
We met Eluize by chance in Berlin when she was playing at IPSE with us a while ago now. We loved what she did in the booth that day and have been in touch ever since. She's got lots on the go so we thought we'd get her back for another mix for the SB series. "For this mix I wanted to bring together joyful, sparkling tunes mixed with moments of acid and off kilter kicks. Lots of things I love right now, from all across the genre spectrum, expect prog house and melodic techno with touches of disco, electro and breaks. I've got a super fun next few months touring AUS, celebrating my new release Lucidity on Motorik! Out Sep 20. Then heading to Europe for ADE oct 18, and Berlin Oct 20, for some exciting shows to be announced soon. While I'm there, I'm open for bookings rest of Europe UK Oct 24 - 28, reach out to matt@thepool-london.com for enquiries.
