You've probably prayed for God to fix something in your life. A habit. A relationship. A wound. A pattern you can't seem to break. But what if Jesus asked you a surprising question first? In John 5, Jesus meets a man who has been stuck in the same condition for 38 years. Instead of immediately healing him, Jesus asks something unexpected: "Do you want to get well?" It sounds like an obvious question… until you realize something deeper. Sometimes the thing that's hurting us has also become the system we rely on. Sometimes our weakness becomes the way we get sympathy, avoid responsibility, or stay comfortable. In this message from the Answer Honestly series, Pastor Craig Smith explores how: Your issue may not actually be your real issue "It's complicated" is different than "I can't" The systems we build can keep us stuck Jesus wants to free us from more than just symptoms If you've ever felt trapped by patterns, pain, or circumstances, this message will challenge you to answer one honest question: Do you really want to get well?
Craig Smith is my guest this week to talk about his annual visits to Spring Training in Arizona, plus his quest to see a baseball game once a week in 2026. Can he do it?

What if the breakthrough you're waiting for is on the other side of obedience? In this message, we explore the story of Blind Bartimaeus in Mark 10 and the surprising question Jesus asks: "What do you want me to do for you?" At first glance, the answer seems obvious. But Jesus isn't just interested in the man's condition—He's inviting him into something deeper. In this message, we talk about: Why your condition doesn't get to define your identity, How focusing on what you can't do keeps you stuck, Why Jesus sometimes calls us before He cures us, What it looks like to answer God's call even when it feels awkward. Many of us are waiting for the fear to go away, the doubts to disappear, or the circumstances to change. But what if the cure is on the other side of the call? If you feel stuck behind a wall in your life—this message is an invitation to take your next step toward Jesus.
AI often looks fully automated. But behind the scenes, a huge amount of human judgment is shaping how these systems actually work. In this episode, Craig Smith speaks with Phelim Bradley, co-founder and CEO of Prolific, a platform that connects millions of real people with researchers and AI labs to evaluate and improve AI systems. They explore the hidden human layer behind modern AI, why traditional benchmarks are becoming less reliable, and why AI companies increasingly rely on real human feedback to measure model performance in the real world. Phelim also explains how demographic differences influence how models are evaluated, why human judgment remains critical even as AI improves, and how the collaboration between humans and AI will shape the next phase of development. This conversation reveals the human backbone behind today's AI systems. In this episode of The Brad Jensen Show, I'm joined by my regular cohost Craig Smith and we dive into a pattern we see all the time with high performers. A lot of people are crushing it in business, leadership, or other areas of life… but their health, relationships, or personal life are falling behind. Craig and I break down some of the biggest reasons this happens. From getting completely lopsided into one area of life to neglecting the habits that actually keep everything running well long term. Between my experience coaching thousands of clients and Craig's background as a therapist, we unpack why high achievers often struggle to transfer the same discipline and focus they have in business into their health and other meaningful goals. If you feel like you're winning in some areas of life but other important areas keep slipping through the cracks, this episode will help you understand why and what to do about it. Topics we cover: Why high performers often struggle with their health The problem with living a "lopsided life" Why success in business doesn't automatically translate to health The identity shifts required to level up all areas of life How to start creating balance without losing your edge Register for our Masterclass on March 23, 2026 - Register Here Next Level Links: Nutrition Coaching Free Consultations - Schedule Here Nutrition Coaching - www.becomenextlevel.com Partner Links: Try Thrive Lab Free For One Month - Start Here Order Supplements From Transform - Shop Here Order Supplements From Cured Nutrition - Shop Here Order Supplements From Legion (use code keynutrition for 20% off first order) - Shop Here Be Featured on the Show: Apply to be a live calller guest on the show - Submit Application Here Submit Q&A Questions to be read live on the show - Submit Here Free Guides: Eating Out Guide - Get The Guide High-Protein Fast Food Orders - Get the Guide Macro Food Options Guide - Get The Guide Join Us On Patreon - Join Here Connect with us on Instagram: Host Brad Jensen – @thesoberbodybuilder Co-Host Craig Smith - @greatestdaymindset Next Level Nutrition – @mynextlevelnutrition
Why do things sometimes fall apart even when our intentions are good? In this week's message from 2 Samuel 6, we explore one of the most sobering moments in Scripture. David sets out to bring the Ark of the Covenant back to Jerusalem. The worship is loud. The celebration is intense. The passion is real. But underneath the celebration are small compromises. The wrong people. The wrong method. Good intentions that ignored God's instructions. And the result is devastating. This message challenges us to wrestle with some hard but necessary questions: Are we choosing convenience over obedience? Are we substituting intensity for integrity? Are we trying to protect God instead of simply obeying Him? Are small compromises creating bigger damage than we realize? The good news? God's heart has not changed. He still wants to bless us with His presence. But we have to prepare for it. If life feels off, distant, or spiritually stuck, this message is an invitation to reset and realign.
This episode started with a conversation about the Olympics. When an athlete wins bronze instead of gold, the interviews can feel almost disappointing… like anything less than first place is failure. And that mindset shows up everywhere in life. In health. In business. In relationships. If you didn't dominate, you feel like you lost. Craig and I break down the fine line between having high expectations and destroying yourself when you fall short. How do you stay competitive and driven… while still respecting solid effort? Because here's the standard: Attitude and effort are the expectation. Not perfection. Not gold every time. Between my experience coaching thousands of clients and Craig's clinical therapy background, we help you find that balance so you can push hard, stay grounded, and keep moving forward. If you're wired to win, this one is for you. In this episode of Eye on AI, Craig Smith speaks with Amanda Luther, Senior Partner at Boston Consulting Group and global lead of BCG's AI Transformation practice, about what their latest 1,500-company AI study reveals about the widening gap between AI leaders and laggards. Only 5% of companies are truly "future-built" with AI embedded across their core business functions. These firms are seeing measurable gains in revenue growth, EBIT margins, and shareholder returns. Meanwhile, 60% of organizations are either experimenting or struggling to extract real value. Amanda breaks down how BCG measures AI maturity across 41 capabilities, how AI impact flows through the P&L, and why leading companies invest twice as much in AI as their competitors. She explains where AI is actually creating value today, from sales and marketing to procurement and retail operations, and why most of that value comes from core business functions, not back-office automation. The conversation also explores the rise of agentic systems, why many early agent deployments fail, and what it really takes to redesign workflows around AI. Amanda shares practical advice for companies stuck in experimentation mode, how to prioritize the right use cases, and why training and change management matter more than chasing the perfect vendor. If you want to understand how AI is reshaping competitive advantage in enterprise organizations, this episode provides a data-backed look at what separates the leaders from everyone else. Have you ever asked God to bless something you never asked Him about in the first place? In this week's message, we unpack 1 Samuel 4 and wrestle with a hard question: Is God truly leading our battles—or are we just bringing Him in after we've already decided what we want? Israel went into battle without seeking God. When they lost, they tried to fix it by bringing the Ark of the Covenant—as if God's presence could be controlled like a lucky charm. What followed was devastating. Craig talk about: Why God doesn't bless plans we never ran past Him The difference between bringing God to the fight and using Him as backup How preferences can quietly outweigh God's commandments What it really means to give God "weight" in our lives If you've ever wondered why you feel spiritually stuck, defeated, or distant from God—this message is for you.
Standing at the edge of the Jordan, Israel faces another chance to choose faith over fear as God calls them to focus on His presence and follow Him into the unknown. This message reminds us that faith isn't about feeling confident—it's about stepping forward in obedience and trusting God to make a way.

The Bible's rules and detailed instructions aren't about pushing people away—they're about getting things ready for God to be close, because God has always wanted to dwell with His people. Even though sin makes that closeness complicated, the good news is that God does the heavy lifting Himself, drawing near to us not because we've earned it, but because He wants a relationship with us.

Construction is one of the least digitized industries in the world, and not because it resists technology. It resists bad technology. In this episode of Eye on AI, Craig Smith sits down with Olek Paraska, CTO of Togal AI, to break down why construction productivity has barely improved in 50 years and why pre-construction is the real bottleneck holding the industry back. Olek explains how most estimating and takeoff work is still done manually, why automating this phase can unlock massive efficiency gains, and how AI works best in construction when it acts as a perception and reasoning layer rather than a replacement for human judgment. The conversation explores computer vision, agentic AI, human-in-the-loop systems, and why respecting real-world constraints is essential for AI to deliver real ROI. It also looks ahead to a future where floor plans, materials, costs, and constructability can be reasoned about together, long before construction begins. On this episode of The Brad Jensen Show, Craig Smith and I sit down for a real conversation about the pressure that comes with having a voice online. As coaches, creators, and people with platforms, there can be an unspoken expectation to have an opinion on everything. Every headline. Every trend. Every crisis. And if you don't speak up, people are quick to assume you don't care. We talk about why that isn't true. Choosing not to emotionally attach yourself to every outside circumstance does not mean you lack empathy. It means you're being intentional with where you place your energy, attention, and emotional bandwidth. We dive into the difference between caring deeply and carrying everything. How constant emotional reactivity can drain you. And why learning to detach from what you can't control is often the healthiest move you can make. This episode is for anyone who feels overwhelmed by the noise, pressured to perform opinions, or stuck feeling emotionally hijacked by things outside of their control. Sometimes protecting your peace isn't selfish. It's necessary. On this episode of The Brad Jensen Show, the tables get turned. A couple weeks back, I put Craig Smith in the hot seat with our Therapy After Dark rapid fire questions and this time he flipped the script and hit me with rapid fire health and fitness questions that I had zero prep for. No outline, no filters, no rehearsed answers, just real time thoughts on health, fitness, nutrition, mindset, and how I actually think through decisions when put on the spot. If you have ever wanted a sneak peek into my brain when it comes to health and fitness, this episode gives you exactly that with fast paced questions, honest takes, and plenty of nuance instead of black and white answers. We cover a wide range of topics, some light, some serious, some that might challenge your thinking, but all of it is real and unscripted. This one is fun, a little chaotic in the best way, and packed with perspective for anyone who enjoys candid conversations and quick hitting questions. Inference is now the biggest challenge in enterprise AI. In this episode of Eye on AI, Craig Smith speaks with Nick Pandher, VP of Product at Cirrascale, about why AI is shifting from model training to inference at scale. As AI moves into production, enterprises are prioritizing performance, latency, reliability, and cost efficiency over raw compute. The conversation covers the rise of inference-first infrastructure, the limits of hyperscalers, the emergence of neoclouds, and how agentic AI is driving always-on inference workloads. Nick also explains how inference-optimized hardware and serverless AI platforms are shaping the future of enterprise AI deployment. This month's Q and A episode is one of those conversations that went everywhere it needed to go. Craig Smith and I sat down and answered real questions from real people. Just honest perspectives from years in the trenches coaching humans through health, fitness, mindset, and life. We covered things like how to actually find a good personal trainer and what red flags to watch for before you waste your time or money. We had a real conversation around sobriety versus recovery and why those two things are not the same even though people use them interchangeably. This one always opens up some nuance and perspective. We dug into why so many people sabotage their fat loss even when they know exactly what to do. Not from a willpower angle, but from an identity, comfort, and self protection standpoint. We also talked about how to influence your kids to eat better and slower without creating anxiety, pressure, or a weird relationship with food that follows them into adulthood. And of course, we answered a few other questions that always seem simple on the surface but go a lot deeper once you actually unpack them. If you're a parent, someone working on your own health, or someone who wants to understand why change can feel so hard even when the path is clear, this episode will land. In this episode of The Brad Jensen Show, Craig Smith and I dive into a conversation most people are afraid to have out loud. We start by breaking down the recent firing of University of Michigan head coach Sherone Moore and the ripple effect that happens when integrity slips. Not just in leadership or sports, but in life. We talk about how fast things can unravel when your actions and values stop lining up, and why integrity always catches up to you, one way or another. From there, we transition into the core of the episode and it's a big one. We tackle the taboo topic of losing physical attraction to your partner after they've let themselves go. This is something so many people experience, but almost no one talks about honestly. We break down why this happens, how resentment quietly builds, and why pretending it's not an issue only makes things worse. We talk about personal responsibility, standards, and the difference between unconditional love and enabling unhealthy behavior. We also get into the hard but necessary conversation around when and how to communicate this with your partner. How to approach it with honesty instead of cruelty. Leadership instead of criticism. And how attraction, effort, and self respect are deeply connected. This episode isn't about shaming anyone. It's about truth. Growth. And having the courage to address things before they quietly destroy relationships. If you're in a relationship, this is one you need to hear.
