Coming soon in April! BARE BONES (Written by Rey):  Responding to a tip from Jack Russell - The Werewolf by Night - Moon Knight investigates a mysterious tower that appears to be expecting him. Traversing many booby traps along the way, it's not long before Moon Knight is confronted with the culprit seemingly responsible - the ever elusive Shroud. The two engage in a lengthy battle, and both are able to gain the upper hand at different points of the battle.  The throwdown ends when The Shroud reveals that he is not alone - The Night Shift are there waiting…but for very different purposes. The Shroud reveals that he hopes to recruit Moon Knight into the Night Shift, and in a surprising revelation, hopes that Moon Knight will lead them in his place. The battle in the tower and the traps set were an elaborate scheme to test Moon Knight, and the White Knight does not take kindly to being played. Moon Knight responds saying that his allegiance is still with the Avengers and remotely calling upon his Mooncopter, Moon Knight ponders the proposition, and the man who seems to be a kindred spirit…the one called, The Shroud! Its another clump of Solo Avengers issues!  There's more Hawkeye shenanigans, as well as solo turns for such fan favorites as Henry Pym and Dr. Druid!  Plus, guest stars like Silver Sable and Le Peregrine (soon to get his own movie in the MCU)!  (Ok, not really, but you have to imagine it's only a matter of time.)

Jason and John tackle a new series, a series that doesn't mean a lot to the Avengers as a whole, so we're going to be bunching oodles of issues together!  We have lots of Hawkeye to discuss, some very odd backup stories and lots of Mark's Remarks!

This time on the Couch: Mike, James, and Shée get sucked up into a whirlwind of interspecies romantic with Solo Avengers Starring: Hawkeye no. 18! With the useful Avengers out of town, Hawkeye just wants to get in some shirtless target practice and forget his many, many failings as a superhero. There's only one problem: Cowboy goofball the Texas Twister has come a'lookin' for help rasslin' up the slimy gremlin what stole the soul of his darlin' Star, and Hawkeye is too much of a coward to tell him to kick rocks! Together, the two heroes (?) confront the monstrosity, only for Tex to lay a big slobbery kiss right on its face! What's going on here?! Have all the methane fumes of a life on the range finally eaten their way into his brain? Also, in a bewildering backup tale, Moondragon and her talking pendant have to escape from space bugs who want to steal the baby that contains her cousin's mind! If the solution involves more kissing this might be the greatest comic book ever made!

We're back to wrap up our two-part Captain Marvel series with two of the most powerful characters in the Marvel Universe: Monica Rambeau and Carol Danvers. These are not only some of the most power female characters in the Marvel stable but two of the most powerful characters ever. We start first with Monica Rambeau, the first black female character to become a member of the Avengers. While Monica has never really had her own on-going solo series, she played a significant role on the Avengers in the 80's (even becoming Chairwoman of the group). Then we move onto the life of Carol Danvers. With the launch of Ms. Marvel in 1977, Carol not only gets super powers  but becomes Marvel's feminist icon answer to DC's Wonder Woman. Unfortunately an extremely poor decision to have Carol raped (even though the book is written as if she's not) really sets the character back. Chris Claremont takes Carol back and brings her into his X-Men book which starts Carol on her long, slow return to prominence and eventually taking the tile of Captain Marvel.
