I'm tired and lazy so here's the first few paragraphs of the movie from Wikipedia. Baby Geniuses is a 1999 American family comedy film directed by Bob Clark and written by Clark and Greg Michael, from a story by Clark, Steven Paul, Francisca Matos, and Robert Grasmere. It stars Kathleen Turner, Christopher Lloyd, Kim Cattrall, Peter MacNicol, and Ruby Dee. The film has the distinction of being the first full-length feature to use computer-generated imagery for the synthesis of human visual speech. 2D warping techniques were used to digitally animate the mouth viseme shapes of the babies which were originally shot with their mouths closed. The viseme shapes were sampled from syllables uttered by the babies on the set. Baby Geniuses was almost universally panned by critics, who lambasted its acting, humor, special effects, writing, and directing, but it grossed $36.5 million worldwide against a production budget of $12 million. In 2004, it was followed by a sequel, Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2, which was a box office bomb, and received even worse critical reviews, receiving a nomination for Worst Picture at the 25th Golden Raspberry Awards. throwbacktheaterpodcast@gmail.com

Hosted by Andrew Quinn and Darren Mooney, and this week with special guest Luke Dunne, The 250 is a weekly trip through some of the best (and worst) movies ever made, as voted for by Internet Movie Database Users. New episodes are released Saturdays at 6pm GMT. So this week, Bob Clark's Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2. Dating back to the dark days of the Cold War, there has always been one superhero who has taken the best interests of babies to heart. Many believe that Baby Kahuna is a myth, a legend. He is a rumour discussed in hushed tones, a bedtime story with no basis in reality. However, four babies are about to discover that Baby Kahuna is very real indeed - and the fate of the world might depend on him. At time of recording, it was ranked 2nd on the list of the worst movies of all time on the Internet Movie Database.
This week, Jimi has spun Bad Sequel. Jimi's offensive slew of nominees include Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2, Son of the Mask, Lawnmowerman 2: Beyond Cyberspace, and quite the trash heap of others. How will Jimi torment us this week? Find out on this week's episode of the Weekly Watch Wheel!

In this episode, Canberra's smartest film reviewers tackle 2004's Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2 directed by Bob Clark and the sequel to 1999's Baby Genuises. Here's the plot: A group of smart-talking toddlers find themselves at the center of a media mogul's experiment to crack the code to baby talk. The toddlers must race against time for the sake of babies everywhere. This movie has Jon Voight and Scott Baio, so it's probably now the most popular film among US right wingers. Originally recorded and released for our Patreon supporters in April 2017.The ghost of director Bob Clark is joined by Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2 producer Steven Paul in a vocal booth to lay down the audio commentary for their 2004 sequel to family-friendly hit of the 1999 hit of the summer, Baby Geniuses. Sadly, Mr Clark's untimely departure from the mortal world is worsened by a tequila addiction and the toll on his voice is audible. Marvel in wonder at how a set of film makers manage to cram the delightful duo of Trump supporters (Scott Baio and Jon Voight) against Weird Science's Vanessa Angel set against rotating backdrops of modern day childcare facilities and cold war-era East Germany. Babies have sex in this movie! There, we said it. The rest of the movie is about an unethical research study separating twins at birth, a giant mechanical baby terrorizing a theme park, and Tibetan religious beliefs. http://searchforschlock.com/media/podcasts/sfs-033-NationalLampoonsPledgeThis.mp3 Download MP3 Why, why, why, WHY?!!? Ahem. Here's a film with absolutely no redeeming qualities, at all. As of this writing, IMDB ranks it as the second-worst film of all time, just after Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2. Paris Hilton languidly says her then-catchphrase ("Hot."), whether or not it makes sense in context; inexplicable Christina Hendricks spouse Geoffrey Arend plays three or four roles, but that's not always entirely clear, since one of his characters tends to do kooky accents and pretend to be other people. We're joined by friend of the show Mark, who last sat with us for A Talking Cat!?!, so we know he can handle himself in this kind of situation.Original post located at searchforschlock.com.
