Bud Foster was the story this past weekend in Blacksburg, and the lunch pail defense certainly did right by him in a 36-17 win over Wake Forest. Pete and Robbie recap how the Hokies stifled Wake's fast-paced attack, and finally praise Coach Corn for his effective play-calling. Up next is a trip to Atlanta with bowl eligibility on the line for VT. Can Fuente's young team handle their new found success and take care of business in the Techmo Bowl? We'll find out on Saturday.

Techmo Bowl blowout. Georgia Tech ran roughshod over the Hokies, putting up video game numbers in a game that was difficult to watch. Robbie and Pete begrudgingly recap the defensive disaster, attempting to find a reason for why it went so wrong. The road ahead isn't getting any easier either; Steve Addazio is bringing his best BC team in years to Blacksburg this weekend. If we don't see something from Bud Foster's group on Saturday, the Hokies' bowl streak could be in serious jeopardy in 2018. Buckle up, this season may have a bumpy finish.

The Hokies welcome Georgia Tech to Lane Stadium on Thursday, Miami travels to Boston College on Friday, and boy, oh boy, Florida State picked a bad time to play Clemson. All this and more....

The triple option strikes again. For the second year in a row, VT loses the Techmo Bowl in frustrating fashion. This episode is not for the faint of heart as the game provided plenty of unsettling moments for the guys to breakdown. Pitt is up next, and while the Panthers are not good, they are another opponent that historically gives Tech fits. It would be nice to see something from the offense going into the UVA game, otherwise the Hokies' winning streak could be in serious jeopardy come Black Friday. Buckle up, the 2017 season may have a bumpy finish.
