Pastor Christy Cass In this message, There Is More — For You, invites us into a moment of permission, not pressure. A reminder that God's dream for your life is bigger than what you've settled for and that the enemy's greatest lie is convincing you that this is all there is. TEXT: Ephesians 3:20, Habakkuk 1:2–5, Habakkuk 2:1–3, Habakkuk 3:2, 18–19, 1 Corinthians 2:9, Ephesians 2:10 NOTES: There is more peace. There is more purpose. There is more freedom. There is more faith than fear. Wrestling with God is not walking away — it's staying engaged God is working even when you can't see it You can't receive new vision while holding on to old perspective If God says it, He will back it up When you realize there is more for you, you begin to want more for others. That's why we serve. That's why we give. That's why we show up. Paul's letter to the Ephesians is built around one powerful structure: if / then.If God is already at work healing the world in Christ—if grace, not violence, is the true power shaping history—then how should we live?In this message, we begin a four-week journey through Ephesians by sitting in the if:a bold vision of Jesus, a high Christology, and a radical redefinition of chosen, predestined, grace, and peace. Set against the backdrop of the Roman Empire's gospel of “victory, then peace,” Paul announces an alternative good news—one where peace is already possible because of God's self-giving love in Christ. This sermon explores:* The if/then structure of Ephesians* What “chosen” and “predestined” actually mean (and what they don't)* Why Paul's greeting “grace and peace” is deeply political* How the church becomes a small working model of new creation* What it means to live ahead of the curve of God's healing work in the world

Francis Schaeffer said, “Ideas have consequences.” If people believe false ideas, they inevitably act on them in disastrous ways. The only solution to such false ideas is to replace them with the truth. Theology and doctrine matter. In this series, we will work through important doctrine for followers of Jesus to understand as they strive to follow Jesus. This week, we explore the Doctrine of the Holy Spirit. Pastor Andy Cass When it comes to spiritual battles, using the wrong tool can leave you exposed and ineffective. What does it means to take up the Sword of the Spirit—the Word of God—and fight with both truth and power from the Holy Spirit. TEXT: Ephesians 6:17, John 18:10–11, Acts 2:41, Hebrews 4:12, Ephesians 5:26, Luke 11:37, Matthew 4:14, Isaiah 55:10–11, 1 Samuel 17, 1 Kings 12:6–15 NOTES: -"I got this" attitude keeps us from picking up the sword. - Put the sword down → You are deceived → Pride makes you conceited → You are defeated Peter without the Spirit = sword without aim → shame and hiding. Peter with the Spirit = sword of the Word → 3,000 saved Practical effects of the Word: -Washing (Ephesians 5:26) -Confidence (Luke 11:37) -Sustenance (Matthew 4:14) -Progress (Isaiah 55:10–11) -Discernment (Hebrews 4:12) -My will, my way, my word—or God's will, God's way, God's Word? -Leading in wisdom doesn't mean leaving wisdom. BIG IDEA: Use the right tool and invite your children into the project.
Pastor Andy Cass In this powerful message, we explore the Helmet of Salvation—not just as protection, but as a mindset of momentum. Challenged to shift our focus from distraction to deliverance, and to let God renew our minds and direct our steps toward victory. TEXT: Ephesians 6:17, Romans 12:1–2, Colossians 3:1–2, Philippians 4:5–8, Isaiah 26:3–4, 2 Corinthians 10:3–5, Psalm 140:7, 1 Samuel 17:38–40, 48–50, 54, 1 Samuel 18:6–7 NOTES: Big Idea: God wants your focus back. "Put your hat on!" — Helmet of Salvation is not a moment but a mindset. “Helmet of salvation is misunderstood to be a moment when it's a mindset of momentum.” We're loosing because: 1. You're fashionably wrong 2. You're fearful and fail to step out 3. You're mis-focused “Focus is a game changer — a war winner.” Salvation = deliverance → direction → daily mindset. “Jesus is trying to lead us free from our mental blur…” Inverse: Without the helmet of salvation = distracted, jealous, envious, negative, captive. “Our King, Commander, and Savior is Jesus Christ. Where he wars, we war. Where he hopes, we hope.”
Pastor Andy Cass We weren't meant to fight alone—Shield Up explores how faith, unity, and shared battles guard us against the enemy's attacks. Discover how taking up the shield of faith isn't just personal—it's powerful when we stand together. TEXT: Ephesians 6:16, Genesis 3:1, Luke 4:1-4, Luke 4:13, Ephesians 4:18, Ephesians 4:25-27, Hebrews 12:14, Matthew 5:23-24 NOTES: Big Idea: Healing breaks the cycle—where hurt once led to doubt, now trust leads to connection. And instead of solitary confinement, we find solidarity in community. -Isolation is the enemy's battlefield—he attacks the tired, the distant, and the lone. -Separation by side conversion and assumption over communication. -Inverse: No Shield = Isolation(divided) and living in a constant state of Doubt. -Bitterness is an unresolved revenge. -Call to Unity: fall into formation, stop the friendly fire, seek healing.
Pastor Andy Cass What if peace isn't found in your plan, but in God's? In this message, we explore how putting on the shoes of the gospel of peace can lead us out of chaos, fear, and isolation into purpose, obedience, and freedom. TEXT: Ephesians 6:13-15, Exodus 12:11, Mark 6:7-9, Mark 6:12-13, Acts 12:5-8, Galatians 5:13 NOTES: Big Idea: Peace does not stand still in God's plan—so why are we? “Don't let your own plan imprison you! Gain the world yet lose your soul.” “Your purpose in paradise will lead you to no peace.” “You choose: Freedom or familiarity? Adventure.” “The Disciple exchanges comfort for a cause and fashion for fight.” “No peace if you're trying to fit into someone else's shoes.” “So many Christians are half in that their experience is half out.” “Show me one thing that you're excelling in that you do once or twice a month?” “Anger to passion. Anxiety into empathy.” Leave a comment, subscribe, and share with a friend.
