Interview location: New York, USAInterview date: Wed 16th May 2018As technology innovation and investment capital are brought together to accelerate the development of new ideas, many compare this new era of Crypto with the Dot Com boom. And there are many similarities: from the speculation and high levels of investment to the lack of proven business models. While the birth of Crypto was with Bitcoin, a permissionless, censorship resistance, decentralised form of money, it is the blockchain backbone which is driving many of the ideas in the Crypto space. Still, we are yet to see many, if any, killer applications which have achieved global mass scale or a proven economic model. Some would argue that this is because we are still early and the tech, others would say that the majority of projects are not solving a problem or do not require a decentralised blockchain, but for the space to continue to grow, there is a need for the market to start delivering projects which are used at scale.Blockchain innovations face many challenges, primarily around scaling, yet does this new economy require everything to be decentralised to have value? Are there other innovations within the space which can operate on centralised platforms or make traditional centralised processes more efficient? The opportunity exists within the centralised world to tap into innovative features within the decentralised world of Crypto, yet avoid the failings and pitfalls of decentralised blockchains. By tokenising securities the traditional world of Wall Street money flow can be modernised and benefit from:- Programmable equity- Access to an entirely new, 24/7/365 global liquidity pool- Elimination of middlemenWith the first Dot Com boom, the focus was with ecommerce, yet the killer apps were search and social. Could the killer apps with Crypto be in the tokenisation of assets? It surely makes more sense to hold a token which can be transferred instantly across the globe than to have a share certificate in a drawer somewhere. Moreover, these tokens can do so much more.Polymath is an ambitious project designed to allow the tokenisation of any asset, providing access to a global liquidity pool while reducing the cost of raising capital. The platform is designed to simplify and reduce the cost of creating a security, using the ST20 standard with built-in KYC to ensure tokens comply with regulations.Polymath is one of a number of projects in the space, looking to integrate Wall Street with Crypto and in this interview, I talk with their CEO, Trevor Koverko about the project, the challenges they face and the opportunity within the market.Note: for full transparency, I am an investor in the Polymath token.-----If you enjoy The What Bitcoin Did Podcast you can help support the show my doing the following:Become a Patron and get access to shows early or help contributeMake a tip:Bitcoin: 3FiC6w7eb3dkcaNHMAnj39ANTAkv8Ufi2SQR Codes: Bitcoin | Ethereum | Litecoin | Monero | ZCash | RipplecoinIf you do send a tip then please email me so that I can say thank youSubscribe on iTunes | Spotify | Stitcher | SoundCloud | YouTube | TuneIn | RSS FeedLeave a review on iTunesShare the show and episodes with your friends and familySubscribe to the newsletter on my websiteFollow me on Twitter Personal | Twitter Podcast | Instagram | Medium | YouTubeIf you are interested in sponsoring the show, you can read more about that here or please feel free to drop me an email to discuss options.

“Education is the biggest opportunity for crypto. Is Blockchain the catalyst that finally causes change?” - Trevor Koverko (click to tweet) Incentivization doesn’t exist in education. The Board of Education is not incentivized to create engaging systems, teachers aren’t incentivized to go above and beyond, and the students themselves aren’t motivated to push their academic progress. Cryptocurrency could change all of this by decentralizing the powers at hand. Suddenly all parties would operate inside an economic exchange that would promote our youth’s intellectual development. While Trevor has made a fortune in the crypto space, his vision for crypto is beyond the get-rich-quick scheme. The technology behind Polymath removes the barrier of entry for people to create their own security token. He sees the future of crypto as one where things like the education system can be solved. I just returned from an amazing conference, the Rhodium Weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada. It’s geared towards a small, but active community of digital entrepreneurs who specialize in cash flowing websites. It really changed my perspective on things. http://rhodiumweekend.com/ From now own, I will concentrate on Digital Entrepreneurship rather than Entrepreneurship in general. That’s not saying that brick-n-mortar companies can’t be wildly successful and create the lifestyle that you want. It’s just not my focus and I give the reasons in the podcast. If you’ve been keeping up you’ll know that I interviewed Trevor Koverko in Episode #32 on the topic of buying and selling websites. You’re welcome to check it out here: http://libertyentrepreneurs.com/2016/05/le32-trevor-koverko-part-2-how-to-buy-cash-flowing-websites/ It’s a bit Internet out there and I met people building and running all of the following online businesses: Affiliate marketing Review sites Authority sites AMZN FBA sites Podcasts Community membership and mastermind groups Premium Subscription-Based Websites Dropship and Self-fulfilled e-Commerce SaaS Businesses The community is excited, energetic, passionate, intelligent, humble (most of them) and very helpful. A common theme was that many got started because they wanted to “Escape the Cubicle” and live a more free life. To do this, many created their own online companies or bought one to manage and run. I learned that it takes a LOT to run an online company and anyone looking for an overnight success can fuhgeddaboudit. Standard skills involve: SEO Systems and workflows Marketing Automation Lead generation Managing an email marketing list and drip campaign Webinars Community engagement Social media management (finding right platforms) ...and so much more Needless to say, there’s a lot to build but we can create communities of like-minded people to help us becoming successful. This podcast is for you. This podcast is a journey and a challenge. It helps us hold each other accountable for the things we say matters to us, but we instead sit around and complain. Look, I get it. I’ve been there. I appreciated a round of State-hate like anyone else that recognizes what’s going on and the tough situation the government has put us in. We can’t feel sorry for ourselves and dwell, but instead let’s BUILD! Let’s actually create the world we want to live in. Compete with the State’s services and compete and help each other become successful. We are an army, a peaceful army, of people who want to make the world better...and we can do it. What are you passionate about? What knowledge can you share with the rest of us? Who can you connect us with? How can I help you? What do you need to become more successful and free? This is the Liberty Entrepreneurs Podcast and my goal is to help people passionate about liberty build their own free and flexible lifestyle by becoming a Digital Entrepreneur. If you share this mindset, then let me know. I’m raising the yellow and black flag. My vibe will attract my tribe. Let’s go, we have a lot to BUILD!.

Welcome back to the Liberty Entrepreneurs Podcast. I’m so excited to welcome back Trevor Koverko who was previously on Episode #7 entitled “Virtual Reality and Digital Real Estate”. This time we only concentrate on how and why Trevor buys profitable, cash-flowing websites. It’s a very young market with TONS of potential. Think about this, Trevor and his team ONLY look at websites that have a 30% or more ROI. This is such an exciting topic and I’m very pleased to share it with you. I’ve included the show notes below and please comment on our Facebook page with your feedback. https://www.facebook.com/LibertyEntrepreneurs/ Trevor’s 5 steps to successfully purchase a website (basically his framework and day-to-day rules) Active lead generation and sourcing websites. Find the best deals before the bidding war happens. Due Diligence on the best leads that come in (qualify all leads). Verify traffic, legitimate links on website, etc Make offer and negotiate deal. Once you like the deal, it’s time to ACT! It’s still a buyer’s market since there’s not a lot of liquidity for sellers, but that is changing rapidly. This means you can potentially have a lot of leverage during the negotiations. All of the buyer’s protections are created in this step. Transition assets from previous owner. Remember, this is an Asset Purchase Agreement instead of a Share Purchase Agreement. This allows you to easily transfer the jurisdiction of the business since it’s all online and virtual. Promote Growth. What are the revenue streams and how can you grow them? Advertising? Cross selling? Enhance SEO? How much content creation is required? TheWebsiteBuyer.com - Trevor's “authority website”. Learn how he plans to capture an audience and solidify himself as the #1 place to go to for this type of knowledge. He has already developed educational resources and coaching programs to help YOU start cash flowing websites. Mainstream Investments? Not so fast... Why did Trevor “flip the bird” to mainstream investments including stocks, mutual funds, gold stocks, oil stocks, real estate, bitcoin ATMs, traded options and bonds? How did he put an END to his investment losing streak with the 3 key elements below? Save/Invest Keep Control Prioritize Cash Flow Advice Trevor’s recommends that young and new entrepreneurs learn about digital marketing. Specifically: What is a marketing funnel How to up-sell and down-sell How to split test How to analyze metrics and other data Favorite Quotes: “This [digital marketing] is the future language of business, not a little niche of geeky internet people”. “If you add value for other people in their lives, good things tend to happen to you as well.” ***I recommend you read Trevor’s story on his “About Me” page: http://www.thewebsitebuyer.com/about-me/ Sample from website: Life Investment Lesson #1: Earnings lead to Savings Savings lead to Investments Investments lead to Cashflow Cash Flow leads to Freedom Contact info: Email: trevor@thewebsitebuyer.com Website: www.thewebsitebuyer.com
