STANDAR SEMANAL.-950.Here´s That Rainy Day.-VINILOMITICODELJAZZ..Yusef Lateef 1964 06 29 - Live At Pep's .--JAZZACTUALIDAD.-KTAM-MOSAICO DE LUZ Live at Pep's es un álbum de 1964 del saxofonista tenor y flautista de jazz estadounidense Yusef Lateef .

At the Global Markets Forum hosted at OTC Markets Group's New York office, three leading exchange executives Jason Paltrowitz, Executive Vice President of OTC Markets Group; James Black, Vice President of the Canadian Securities Exchange; and Steve Henney, Co-Head of Business Development for the Aquis Stock Exchange joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss the evolving landscape of public market access and global investor engagement. Paltrowitz highlighted the OTC Markets' pivotal role as the largest U.S. stock market for non-U.S. equities, helping early-stage and international companies reach U.S. investors more efficiently. “We preach from the same hymnal,” he said, emphasizing the shared commitment between OTC Markets, CSE, and Aquis to make public markets more open, efficient, and accessible worldwide. Representing the CSE, Black spoke about the exchange's mission to support small and medium-sized enterprises seeking to raise public venture capital. He noted a strong synergy with OTC Markets, which helps CSE-listed issuers expand visibility and attract investment from U.S. capital markets. Henney provided the UK perspective, describing Aquis as a growth-focused exchange designed to give early-stage companies global exposure. He pointed to signs of recovery in both market activity and retail investor confidence, highlighting a robust IPO pipeline building over the next six months. The discussion also touched on improving market dynamics and increasing investor participation across regions. Black shared that the CSE is already $1 billion ahead of last year's performance, while Paltrowitz noted a significant uptick in trading volumes on the OTC particularly in the UK, Canada, and Germany as U.S. investors continue to look abroad for growth opportunities. All three leaders underscored the importance of long-term issuer support, consistent investor engagement, and cross-border collaboration to drive market strength. As Black concluded, “We have to provide optionality to our clients, it's not just happening in our own backyard.” #proactiveinvestors #otcmarkets #cse #aquisstockexchange #GlobalMarkets #PublicListings #InvestorAccess #SmallCapStocks #IPOMarket #StockMarketInsights #CapitalMarkets #MarketRecovery #USInvestors #InternationalListings #EquityMarkets #ProactiveInvestors

The Ministry Of Defence is given a stark warning that it needs to play catch-up and should learn from Ukraine's use of AI on the battlefield. So what is Ukraine using? What happens if Britain doesn't get a grip? And what could that mean for our troops on the battlefield? Sitrep's Ukraine reporter Simon Newton and Assistant Director of the defence team at Rand Europe, James Black, discuss the Defence Committee report. It's the biggest step up a soldier will make in their Army career - getting their first stripe and promotion to Lance Corporal. So when Sitrep's Sofie Cacoyannis was granted exclusive access to the selection course in Cyprus, it was a unique opportunity to record the highs and the lows of the entire 7 week experience. And what makes a good spy? We delve into the latest declassified documents with instructions on appearance, disguise and how to follow targets.

When you think of music from New Jersey, you typically think of Bruce Springsteen. Or perhaps Bon Jovi. But most people don't immediately see folk music come to mind. Jackson Pines may not be trying to change that, but they're certainly doing their best to make New Jersey folk a more widely known and understood subset of the Garden State's musical DNA. This week on Roots Music Rambler, hosts Francesca Folinazzo (Frank) and Jason Falls (Falls) caught up with the two founders of Jackson Pines, Joe Makoviecki and James Black to get a history lesson on New Jersey folk, talk about the latest music from the group and hear stories from their travels. The band has even played on stage with Pete Seeger, giving them full-on folk credentials. Makoviecki turned out to be sort of a New Jersey folk historian – not unexpected from a teacher's son – so this episode wound up being one of the more educational we've ever had. Falls also asks why vinyl record collectors get upset about people using the term “vinyl” as a noun. So for all the hall monitors out there, this part will piss you off. Falls also tells his Ron White-like story of being “thrown out of a bar in New York City,” and, of course, Frank and Falls share their pickin' the grinnin' choices for good music for you to check out this week. Don't forget you can now show your support of the show with Roots Music Rambler's new merch, now available at rootsmusicrambler.com/store. Authentic t-shirts, hats and stickers are now available. In 1986, Jim Speiser of Fountain Hills, Arizona, got the urge to create an electronic forum dedicated to a discussion of paranormal topics. He started a BBS (bulletin board system) using six personal computers located at various locations in the U.S. and Canada linked together with a Fidonet system. Speiser called his new BBS “The ParaNet.” In the summer of 1991, there was a “spin-off” of ParaNet named the Multi-national Investigations Cooperative on Aerial Phenomena, and ParaNet published a magazine called Continuum to get their investigations reports out to the public. The first case in the Volume 1, Number 1, September 1991 issue involves an investigation by James Black (who wrote the report) and Robert Atwood of a simple crop circle that formed overnight starting on August 21, 1991, in a cornfield in Iowa that led them to other reports of strange activity in the area. The case became far more complex than a simple crop circle report, and this has ended up becoming a two-part blog. In the first part, we looked at the investigation and three witness accounts, and in the second part, we'll look at one more account, the conclusions, and the aftermath, which included poltergeist activity reported to have been experienced by a fellow investigator at his home.
