Welcome to Baby Daddy SA, we are a group of young men and women, who are working together to ensure that young men, learn what is important about life. We teach about values more than anything, and we do this through our blog on Facebook @BabyDaddySA. We love storytelling & are huge believers in the power of the Spoken Word and Written. Baby Daddy SA is a platform where men grow, and women learn about men. Our aim is to make men understand some of the traits and behaviors they have and wish to eradicate, to better their lives. We want a nation where women can feel safe.

It feels awkward right? You just had an argument with your partner and now you just don't know what to do about it, should you apologise or stick it out and feel that silence space? Well I suggest you listen to this episode. It is only five minutes but it will tell you something no one has been telling you. There is healing in silence, which is a controversial thought, because many times it is thought that people have to talk about the issues they encounter.
Life is hard and it comes with a choice of letting go sometimes of things that don't make you happier.

In this episode we dive deep into the ocean of understanding and language, but honestly typing, we look at compatibility in relationships and what does it mean to have compatibility in a relationship, as well as the chaos of not having it. Ideally, each relationship should "automatically" have it, but if it does not, it is something that can be practised. Listen to this episode and share with your partner or be the understanding partner, when things mentioned in this episode start to happen. Guys we have a great surprise under wraps, so please look at for the link here that will take you somewhere magical. haha I am excited, they said it was things for the fancy, but we did it. Makwande
You can be whatever you like, your identity is bound to change, do not allow your identity to be swayed by your job rather you do the determining. This is the short pause to series. I have some great episodes lined up.
This is just a powerful statement that most of us would resonate with. We have to realise that we cannot sell ourselves short because people around us say our services and products are too expensive. Determine how much you want to charge and stay consistent.
You have to move towards having assets, and reduce the liabilities in your life, the sooner you do that, the better.
Becoming indépendant is the same road to your Identity. If you understand this, then you are already on your way to understand who you are. You are more capable than what you think.
If you enjoy this episode feel free to share it with your friends and loved ones. I have divided into it small consumable chunks because it was a long meeting so I hope you enjoy how I have broken it down.
I think a lot of us have shunned away from doing a lot of things that make people see us. We decide to blend in, and not let our true colours/ talents be seen because we do not like being 'Visible' my guest Properkotini has done just that. Accepting who he is, building confidence and then entering the modelling industry has taught him a few things that he shared with us on this episode. Whether you are dark, short, tall, skinny, fat, or whatever, it does not matter how people see you, how you see yourself is what counts more. Please drop him a follow on instagram if you like this episode, as well as show support to people who are redefining their lives and inspiring others in the process. Instagram: @properkotini Makwande
In this episode I look at when does it start to be abuse when we use the phrase "Everything happens for a reason"? Hope you enjoy it and we can start being responsible people it's our time now.
In this episode I look at the concept of Humility.
I'm sorry guys, I was hoping that Dr. Gama would be joining me today but because of the weather (rain) her network wasn't really stable so, I had to move the interview to tomorrow. Hopefully tomorrow it does not rain. With that being the case, I have spoken about one perspective of Why men do not say I love you to each other and this is something that I learned yesterday from Emkay... I hope that you enjoy this episode. Thank you and goodnight.
Most of the time ladies do not understand what it means when a guy wants space? In this episode I try to explain what it means and also revealing that men should discuss what space means for them to their partner instead of chasing them out of the apartment!! I hope that you enjoyed this low-key episode. Tomorrow I have a great Episode coming, hopefully the rain doesn't disturb me.
Your sister/mother/female-best friend/partner presents you with a problem, what should you do? Do her a favour haha. Sometimes, (HAHA) but this is not always the case. In this episode I talk about one of the biggest mistake men make which is... Her: I have this problem at work and … 5 minutes later ( problem is 30 minutes long) Him: Lets go straight to the solution (au let's finish this problem and move to a new topic please) Listen to us on: Spotify Apple Podcast Google Podcast Amazon Music Podcast addicts for web players Email: sababydaddy@gmail.com Makwande

I had initially thought I was going to name the episode, beginning with the end in mind, but after listening to it, I realised that this is also the reason most people suffer. We have to stop down playing the consequences of not being committed. Commitment plays a crucial role in what is happening in our lives. There are few principles that are coming to my attention as factors that can really change a person's life. These are things I see in the clinical settings from patients trying to change their diet, beat inflammation and bring about health onto themselves. Additionally, same thing happen to a lot of people. If we fail to commit we have to expect the worst than we can imagine, because we cannot really see the future. All is explained in this episode. In this episode I share a simple exercise that can be done in a paper to completely change your life. I am very practical and experimental person by creation, and I love trying new methods; applying design thinking in doing things and trying to maximise results. I am not even sure if I answered this question in this episode. But I enjoyed making this episode. #team #building I just wanted to add hastags haha I do not know if they are going to serve a purpose or not. Building a team is hard but at the end of the day, it can be rewarding. First thing to do in building a team is to break cultures that not productive and sometimes it means letting people go. Do it on your own, do not rush to hire people. Hire qualified people. Train people. Do not fear losing them. See yourself a "Leadership manufacturer". Something that I did not mention, is to always ask people what they do not understand about a specific task, what made it hard for them to complete that task, but I guess this more technical and hands on approach. I hope that you enjoyed this episode. I will see you Monday. Enjoy your weekend. Makwande.
If I told you that you did not what would you say? I guess I have been asking myself, does being born involuntary suddenly give me power to say I have control over my life? Or it is the same life force that brought me here that has control over me. Would you say there is a specific age to have things all figured out? Or it is just better doing time? Understanding that sometimes being consistence does feel boring and that it feels like routine is a good thing because you are not going to quit. You keep going and each step is worth it.
Allow yourself to experience life as it is. Know that you can change how you feel if you acknowledge it. Seek support if you feel you cannot do it alone. Join a men's group. Get into a routine and stick to it. Wake up and do it all over again if it works. Vulnerability is not weakness, is a step of towards emotional intelligence, and resolution.

The topic of tonight's discussion is making better decisions Here are three things that will help you make better decisions! No.1. Learn from your mistakes. You can do this by using the Gibbs reflective writing method or any reflective writing method. Instagram At No.2 You can never ever take a shortcut that you have never used before. Shortcuts are created with experience. No.3 Before you do something look at the consequences.
