Feeling puffy, tired, or stuck at the same weight even when you're “doing everything right”? Your lymphatic system might be the missing link. In this episode of Metabolic Freedom, Ben Azadi sits down with Dr. Caitlin, a leading voice on lymph health and detox, to unpack how this under-talked-about system affects fat loss, energy, and hormones. You'll hear the five sneaky habits that clog your lymph (most of us do at least two), plus simple daily fixes—movement snacks, real hydration, better sleep, and diaphragmatic breathing—to turn your body's drainage back on and feel lighter, clearer, and more energized. What you'll learn: The “circulatory system no one talks about” and why fat loss stalls when lymph slows. 5 habits that jam drainage: long sitting, shallow chest breathing, skimping on water/electrolytes, poor sleep, and chronic stress. How diaphragmatic (belly) breathing acts like a pump for lymph—try it in 60 seconds. A hydration reset that actually moves fluid (hint: water + minerals, not endless refills). How lymph influences hormone balance and fat absorption, and what to do about it today. Quick wins (do-them-today) Move every hour: 1–2 min of walking, calf raises, or rebounding. Belly-breath box: 4–4–6–2 (inhale 4, hold 4, exhale 6, pause 2) for 5 cycles, 2–3x/day. Mineralize your water: add a pinch of quality electrolytes to 2–3 glasses. Sleep upgrade: defend a 7–9 hr window; dim screens 60–90 min before bed.

Get your ticket today!Check out the full episode: greatness.lnk.to/1821"He's not busy being born is busy dying. We need friction in our life because that's when you grow." - Price PritchettAt 83 years old, Price Pritchett has orchestrated $350 billion worth of corporate mergers, but his most powerful insight isn't about business—it's about the guilt that stops us from pursuing what truly stirs our hearts. He's witnessed countless executives who know exactly what they need to do but can't give themselves permission to do it, trapped by the belief that chasing big dreams is somehow selfish. Pritchett reveals why this mindset is not only wrong but dangerous, explaining how our biggest goals require us to let other things "fade into the shadows"—and why that's not selfishness, it's survival. What makes this conversation extraordinary isn't just Pritchett's decades of high-stakes experience, but his raw honesty about why comfort is the enemy of growth. He challenges the modern obsession with balance and equilibrium, arguing that we need friction, discomfort, and even failure to become who we're meant to be. Through stories of billion-dollar deals and personal transformation, he shows how giving yourself permission to pursue what matters most isn't just about achieving success—it's about staying alive in the truest sense.Sign up for the Greatness newsletter: http://www.greatness.com/newsletter Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. What if I told you that being too nice isn't helping you? Being a “good woman” or a “nice girl” can actually be to your detriment. At the same time, as women, we are conditioned by society to please others and keep the peace. The problem is that “nice girls” live for other people while their dreams go to the grave. If you relate to this, you're not alone—and you're not stuck. Learning to lean into discomfort and taking a leap into being direct could change everything. Getting over decades of programming isn't easy, but your life and business will be better when you do. In this episode, you will learn about: The big mistake I made when playing nice with a company I shouldn't have. The difference between being polite and being nice. Examples of when we hold back from being honest (but we shouldn't). The ways our social programming shows up later in life and sabotages us. Why we feel scared to demand for what we really want as women. Why direct communication can be difficult but is also so important. How people exploit nice women, including real life examples that happened to me. What really great clients actually want you to deliver. Get 10% off your Sage Haus House Manager today! Is your brain tricking you into making the wrong business decisions? In this episode, Zed breaks down how confirmation bias and false beliefs can quietly sabotage your practice. When revenue trends shift or results don't line up with your expectations, it's easy to grab onto the most convenient explanation and run with it. The problem? Your brain will work overtime to confirm that belief—even if it's wrong. This episode explains why quick fixes rarely solve the issue, how to uncover the real timeframe that drives your deposits, and why learning to disprove your own assumptions is critical for practice growth. By reframing outcomes as choices you've made, you'll see clearly what needs to change—and gain the ability to fix problems at their true root cause. Even when life is good, it's easy to resist joy out of fear or discomfort. This episode reveals why we sabotage our own happiness and how to finally soften, stay present, and let joy all the way in. Have you ever felt like life is good, maybe even great, yet something inside you won't let you fully enjoy it? I've noticed this pattern in myself and realized that often we subtly shut out joy out of fear, discomfort, or self-protection. In this episode, I share honest reflections and practical steps to stop sabotaging your happiness so you can experience more peace, presence, and connection. Action Plan: - Name the resistance: Acknowledge out loud when you feel yourself pulling away from joy. - Stay in the moment longer: Allow hugs, laughter, or silence to linger without rushing to distraction. - Start a joy journal: Record times when joy knocked but you resisted, and explore why. - Practice receiving: Accept compliments and gifts without deflection to expand your capacity for joy. - Repeat joy affirmations: Use affirmations like “It is safe to feel this good” to retrain your nervous system. Brian Wright and returning co-host Dr. Robert Barton open this episode like a frank conversation between business partners who refuse polite platitudes. What begins as a backyard reunion — complete with whitewater rafting and a busted plantar fascia — quickly becomes a case study in missed opportunity: Dr. Barton's urgent call to a nearby clinic goes unanswered, and what follows is a forensic tour of why that single moment represents a universal epidemic in customer acquisition. Through anecdote and data, Brian and Robert unpack five stealthy ways practices and small businesses quietly lose new patients and customers: inconsistent Google hours that push prospects away before they even dial, voicemails and web leads that die in a queue, missed calls that never get returned, undertrained front-desk staff who can't sell value over price, and the mindset that confuses cheaper with smarter. They don't sugarcoat the truth — this episode will make you uncomfortable if you're not ready to act. Every story is a lesson. Dr. Barton's snapped plantar fascia and the failed local clinic become the entry point into startling statistics — nearly half of inbound medical/dental calls go unanswered — and a vivid metaphor: your practice is a leaky boat, and plugging those holes is far more effective than bailing water with more advertising. Brian and Robert show how tiny operational shifts (adjusting your Google hours, answering web leads in under 10 minutes, owning the voicemail follow-up) convert casual searchers into loyal fans — the people who drive referral streams and exponential growth. But this episode is not just technical advice; it's a leadership story. They challenge owners to stop asking staff if calls are being answered (staff rarely tell the boss when things fail) and instead take ownership: observe, mystery-call, measure, and train. Real-world vignettes — from Whole Foods baggers to treatment coordinators and back-office chaos — illustrate how experience and hospitality can command higher prices and deeper loyalty, while penny-pinching on operations leaks annual revenue that never shows up on the balance sheet. Listen for practical takeaways you can act on immediately: how to rethink your Google profile, why rapid lead response matters, the scripts and mindset that make front-desk conversations convert, and why outsourcing or backup answering services can be a surgical fix the moment you implement them. If you want blunt, evidence-backed advice delivered with humor, urgency, and a co-host who's been in the trenches, press play — and bring a notepad. Why brilliant business owners struggle to scale their expertise—and the simple shift that changes everything. You've built a successful business through sheer hustle and problem-solving brilliance. But when clients ask "What's your process?" or "How do you do what you do?"—you sound like everyone else. Meanwhile, your competitors with half your talent are commanding premium fees and getting featured as "thought leaders." What do they have that you don't? In this revealing conversation, business strategist Charlotte exposes the hidden system that separates the experts who get forgotten from those who become unforgettable. What You'll Discover: The Framework Blind Spot - Why your natural expertise might be your biggest liability when it comes to standing out in a crowded market (and the counterintuitive fix that makes you magnetic to ideal clients) The Large Organization Hack - How to weaponize your signature approach across different teams and departments to create unstoppable internal momentum (most consultants never think of this) The "Gratitude Circle" System - Charlotte's unconventional team ritual that solves the appreciation problem plaguing most growing businesses (without the awkward forced positivity) The SOP Automation Breakthrough - Why your standard operating procedures feel like torture to create—and the AI-assisted delegation strategy that makes documentation almost effortless The Authority Acceleration Secret - The specific communication shift that transforms you from "another service provider" to "the person who invented the solution" This isn't about creating more work for yourself. It's about finally packaging the brilliance you already have so it works for you instead of staying trapped in your head. The Reality Check: Your expertise is worthless if you can't explain it in a way that makes people say "I need THAT." Essential listening for service-based business owners, consultants, and anyone tired of being seen as "just another option" instead of THE solution. Ready to stop being the best-kept secret in your industry? This conversation reveals the systematic approach to turning your hidden genius into your unfair advantage.

The secret to breaking through revenue ceilings lies in the powerful combination of business strategy and identity work, not just one or the other. Your business will always match your self-concept, so upgrading both simultaneously is essential for sustainable growth.• Strategy without identity work leads to self-sabotage• Mindset work without strategy keeps you stuck despite positive thinking• Every revenue level requires different strategies AND a different identity• Three business stages: starter (charging for expertise), systems builder (becoming a true business owner), and scaler (becoming a leader who delegates)• Your business and identity grow together like a DNA spiral, reinforcing each other• Assessment requires examining both your current strategies and how you see yourself• When implementing new strategies, always ask "who do I need to become?"• Make identity work concrete by behaving as your future self would todayGo to jenncodysolutions.com/revenue to get a free blueprint on revenue ceiling breakthroughs and stop spinning your wheels. Thanks for listening! Executive coach Michael King breaks down why being talented at your craft doesn't automatically make you good at running a business. He shares his framework for moving from reactive daily tasks to intentional vision-building, emphasizing that most creatives are thinking way too small about what they're building. Michael challenges listeners to create a "to-be list" focused on identity and impact rather than just grinding through endless to-dos. Key Takeaways Talent vs. Leadership are different skills - You can be amazing at video production but terrible at running a video business, and both require intentional development Start with identity, then vision, then structure - Before diving into tactics, get clear on who you are, what you want to build, and who you need on your team Create bandwidth for future thinking - You have to intentionally make time to work ON your business, not just IN it, even when you're swamped with client work Embrace being "good and different" - Stop comparing yourself to others and own what makes you uniquely valuable in the marketplace About Michael King Michael King is not just a coach — he's a builder of people, companies, and creative movements. With over a decade of executive insight, creative thinking, and relentless execution, King has launched full-scale leadership systems and founded anti-agencies that prioritize genuine service over industry norms. At the center of King's approach is a fundamental belief that strategy, simplicity, and systems unlock the best in people. This philosophy drives his work across multiple domains: coaching Fortune 500 executives, building platforms for founders, and speaking to teams and leaders around the globe. King is the creator of innovative frameworks like TEAMS and leads transformative experiences through Accelerator, an immersive strategic coaching experience designed to drive meaningful change. His reputation is built on delivering insight without fluff, transformation without ego, and strategic thinking that helps leaders grow what matters most. Whether working with C-suite executives or emerging entrepreneurs, King brings the same commitment to practical wisdom and results-driven strategies that have made him a sought-after voice in leadership development and organizational transformation. Do you ever feel like you shouldn't be giving advice, leading a project, or stepping into your own expertise because you're not perfect—or not perfect enough? That's expertise perfectionism—the constant self-doubt that tells you your knowledge isn't enough and that every mistake means you're failing. In this episode, I break down how to spot and release expertise perfectionism, why perfection isn't the baseline for impact, and how to measure your effectiveness by the help you provide rather than the mistakes you fear. I show you how even beginners in any field can act with authority, grow their expertise, and make a meaningful difference—without waiting to feel “ready” or perfect.Get full show notes, transcript, and more information here: https://schoolofnewfeministthought.com/416Mentioned in this episode:Have you been secretly dreaming of becoming a coach?I've got something for you. How do I stop sabotaging my attempts to quit drinking? Jane's story will hit close to home for anyone who's ever wondered why they can stick to other healthy habits but struggle with alcohol. She exercises regularly, eats well, and maintains discipline in other areas of life, yet finds herself repeatedly breaking her commitment to quit drinking. In this honest coaching session, Jane opens up to Coach Tabbin about the internal dialogue that leads her from nail appointments to wine purchases, and how emotional triggers consistently derail her best intentions. Together, they uncover how unprocessed grief and the need to control uncontrollable situations drove her to use alcohol as emotional suppression. This episode provides practical insights into understanding the subconscious mind's role in drinking decisions and developing the self-compassion needed to break free from self-sabotaging patterns. In Jane's session: Struggling to stick to decisions about not drinking Dealing with anxiety about future alcohol-related situations Using distraction techniques for alcohol-free days Coping with self-criticism and feeling like a disappointment Understanding alcohol as a form of self-sabotage Building trust in alcohol-free living Learning to practice self-compassion The cognitive dissonance between conscious desire to quit and subconscious urges Finding support in community and relationships and more… Coach Tabbin is a Senior Coach with This Naked Mind, certified in ALP (Affective Liminal Psychology) and Grey Area Drinking. After years of battling alcohol, including a period of over seven years of not drinking interrupted by major life events, she found lasting freedom through This Naked Mind in 2018. Now a full-time coach, she helps senior professionals, especially those aged 45+, rewire their brains to live alcohol-free. Every superhero has an arch-nemesis (or two). Batman's got the Joker. Spidey's got the Green Goblin. Superman? Lex Luthor. But you? You've got five freelancing villains quietly sabotaging your business. There's no maniacal laughter or evil stare. They're not wearing capes or threatening to destroy the world with a giant-ass laser. These villains are more subtle: “Just one more YouTube video…” “I'll do those reachouts tomorrow…” “I need to fix my portfolio first…” And before you know it? They've stolen another week of progress. If there's one thing I've learned working 1 on 1 with hundreds of creative freelancers, it's this: You don't rise to the level of your strategy…You fall to the level of your patterns. I've seen clients with a flawless strategy that they're trying to execute… And yet they can't get out of their own damn way to execute it. Because when things get hard, or new, or uncomfortable… We default down to whatever survival pattern we've always used to cope. In this week's episode, I'm joined by one of the Clients by Design coaches, Josh Love, to call out all 5 of those freelancing villains (and how to finally defeat them). We'll dive into: how these patterns form how they masquerade as productivity what to do when you catch yourself spiraling. The first step to defeating your particular villain is knowing which one you're dealing with. For full show notes, visit https://6figurecreative.com/376
