After hearing so much about the historical trends dooming the Democrats chances at keeping the House and Senate beyond 2022, I decided to record this episode, calling for progressives to read the stars in order to see what is possible at this time in history. While I am not making any predictions for 2022, I believe with enough work and effort, history can be and will be made in November 2022, why – well listen to the episode to find out. Beyond the points made in the episode, I believe time, as astronomically constructed, is on the side of those who muster the energy to formulate a cosmically aligned vision for the planet. If the two youngest generations; Generation E (called Z by the mainstream press) and The Millennial Generations, can create the sort of tension necessary to force society in a different direction, humanity might be saved from a bleak nightmarish condition which will ultimately lead to our species death. The Rust Belt, lends credibility to the primary idea expressed in this episode. America, as a society had decayed significantly over the past four decades; for this reason, any remedy sought by progressives or radicals mustn't try to answer all ailments at once. Yes, there is a drastic need to address certain ailments right now, ailments requiring big societal changes (climate change heads that lists) but with those ideas, must come an understanding that any remedy, no matter how potent its application, will likely bare fruit slowly. Trust between the citizenry and its government will take time to patch up, trust between the citizenry period will require significant healing itself. This stated, we mustn't loose hope that change will not bare fruit, we must grasp the need for patience and eternal optimism with a dash of unabashed realism, so that which we create doesn't rely on false pretenses and lazy calculations. This episode explains why time is required and the meaning of decay in our society. A Vault Episode from 2020, oh where to start? The War has been defined as Capitalists vs. Radicals; I believe in fact the war has been between Capitalist Republicans vs. Democratic Radicals or those who believe in Democracy as an active force used to both organize society and to control the instruments playing throughout society (by instruments I mean institutions when structured for the direct benefit of the public), versus, those who believe society should be governed for and by a select group who not only profits from the labor executed by the many, but sees the laborer as beholden to the whims, desires and wants of the select. Sure, the few who see themselves as the most brightest stars in the society will take exception to this description, but their actions are historically placed throughout the rise and fall of various civilizations; their missteps are well documented and their personal failings are indisputable when bygone eras are closely examined. Revising such truths only leads to delusion and decrepit personality quirks that fuel their obsession for more money and materialism, while fanning their ego, encouraging growth when deflation is required to save themselves, their world and ours. I've been sitting on this episode since March, unsure when I would release it, but knowing it had to be given over to the public for its consideration. The title given to this episode, sums up the tone of the topic. The tone for the episode, especially the conception leading to its recording, is to corner those NeoCons claiming they're reformed, challenging them to prove their claim with stark actions. Though not included in its content, a video I watch over three months after I recorded the episode showcases the bar these redemption seeking Conservatives will have to jump to prove their case. The video was an interview given by David Brock from the 1990s, titled Ex-Conservatives Exposes Deeply Flawed GOP. In that video he recounts how he was taken in by the right wing and, more importantly, how he turned away from its magnetic pull. While he ultimately became a Neoliberal, supporting Hillary and Bill Clinton; his message still should be heart with intrigue and hunger, for the movement he was once a part of, is now in the position to place this country on a track which it may not recover from. In this episode, I specifically call on the Lincoln Project to make good on their reformed claim, asking them to reveal to the people how they manipulated the public for their own gain. A broad view is taken in this episode (it was going to be the second part of a two segmented episode, but the first part didn’t stand up to its quality). Reading through 1984 you’d be hard pressed not to see the revelation hidden in this episode. I recorded this in January 2021, the connective tissue between the three stood out worse than an infected swollen ankle. What occurred within the three incidents couldn’t have been more different, but the resulting actions couldn’t have been more similar; though I must admit here, rather or not the actions undertaken during the first two will occur for the third is still to be seen. Nonetheless, the cry from the elite surrounding the third event suggests the same actions will be undertaken and put into order following the other two, the future is rather chilling.

We hear this every four years – this is the most crucial election, blah, blah, blah. Well ladies and gentlemen, consider what has occurred over the past four years, the culmination of which was the Capital storming on January 6th, a date that will live in infamy, and you will agree with me that this next four years is crucial to the destiny of this country. I have stated before the events this year that the 2020’s represent a shifting current, a turning into a possible new age, I impress that belief more sternly in this episode. Joe Biden, mediocre politician, but a man described by those who bought him off constantly as a man for the ordinary man; just an average Joe, as a slogan might have said in another era; has a horrifying choice ahead of him – be himself and invite history’s wrath, as both Hoover and Buchanan did; or inflict austerity and bring to fore the destiny of the Weimer Republic. Obviously there is a third way (snicker, third way, paging Bill Clinton) this Democrat can take but that would require him to truly live up to his “average Joe” manicure and let’s be real, do we really expect Joe Biden to invite the hatred from the ruling class as one former president did? No. But we can hope he doesn’t invite history’s wrath upon us or the end to this republic. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

The role of an intervention is layered. At the outset, those engaging in the intervention, the interventionists (if we could call them that), want to confront a person who is both causing pain to themselves and to other people. Depending how far the dependency has advanced, the first order may be to force them into rehab; the second order may be to confront them over the cost their addiction is extracting from their family and friends; the third order may be to love bomb them in a way that separates them (briefly) from the inhabiting fogginess feeding the addiction, resulting in a temporary grounding effect for their personality; and, if the addiction isn’t that severe but beginning to present itself as a problem or maybe the addiction is so severe the person cannot live without having the quenching substance on, near or within reach of their body for any moment throughout the day; the fifth order may be to physically confiscate the addictive substance from the person and areas they frequent. We have entered a period in time when most people are starting to believe, our society needs to “do something” about the blatantly destructive income and wealth inequality which has destabilized this country and deteriorated its (institutional, communal, cultural and familial) infrastructure; what that “something” is, remains a topic for discussion. No matter the conclusion reached by these discussions, though, I believe the result will be the same, an intervention pitting the society against those I have dubbed the economically obese. In todays episode I look at the need for an intervention to stop them from destroying the society. Class War Battlefield Podcast Episode 2021.01.00. A Question that is Dividing America, Federalism or Anti-Federalism, Which One Do You Believe In

Play Episode Listen Later Jan 31, 2021 61:10

When the United States of America was established, the question dividing the founding fathers was rather the country would be organized around a federal presence holding significant power to regulate the relationships between the states and the union as a whole with the world in general; or would the country continue to be a disunited confederacy with sparing interstate competitors with diverse interests and goals, goals often rendering unity difficult if not impossible. After the federal government was established via the constitution, the argument didn’t go away; the argument simply shifted tones. No longer did Anti-federalists, who lost the debate, question rather the federal government should exist, they started concerning themselves with the “power” held by the federal government, thus asserting constant victimization of their states by the federal government. While not immediately seen during the “founding generation”, after that generations influence waned and its prominent members were buried, this screed became a rallying cry amongst many Southerners whenever the federal government would take an action they didn’t like. Now I could continue recounting this history, but the point I am making in this podcast segment is rather simple – this divide is not new. After the Reconstruction era when the Industrial Revolution of the North came to the Southern states, the argument against the federal governments regulation powers became a central theme in discussions centered around the federal governments ability to interject itself into the Jim Crow south. States’ rights, a euphemism for unregulated Apartheid, became – to some segregationists, synonymous with unregulated corporate power. It is from this history that I draw my influence for this episode segment from. Time to explode some myths – oh wait a second, this just in, “Myth’s are good for a person’s psyche”, hmmm maybe this wouldn’t be a good time then to tell people the economic problems we are experiencing today are rooted in the inaction of the 1960s. Maybe also I shouldn’t spill the beans on the hypocrisy of the Middle Class Liberal and Progressive class either, most are first and second generation Richards and Rachael’s (oops). Alright to be fair, I’ve covered this all before, but I think it’s time for a refresher because something tells me some people need a real crash course on history. Then again something is also telling me that life is about to change is some pretty interesting ways. Very soon I’ll actually build episodes around new information but for now, let us take a broad look at what this country has become. Voting, we are told, is a one-dimensional act. Walk into a booth, draw a level, or push a computerized button and walk away; but that is not what Voting actually is; there is a reason why people keep referring to an informed electorate, because without information, particularly truthful information, voting becomes an act without meaning. Just selecting ones favorite party or voting against another, has as much importance as picking a favorite sports team though the consequences in voting for one of the two corporate parties are far graver than selecting a sports team. In this segment I attempt to explain the many layers to voting, and why activists need to spend more time on explaining the connection between activism, voting and movement building. #ClassWar, #DCProtests, #ProgressiveChallenge, #PeoplesParty, #OWS, #Socialism Gathering my thoughts around the events that occurred on January 6th 2021, I recorded this addendum on a topic I will speak more forcefully about over the next twelve months – the true “divide” defining this country. In this episode segment I have coined the phrase “Republican Characters” to describe the two competing ideological arguments set forward by Northern Secularists and Southern Theocrats during the years and decades immediately after the 1776 “Revolution”. These two arguments, when combined with the Federalist and Anti-Federalist movements occurring during the American Confederacy years; and in later years the Segregationist and Anti-Segregationist movements; thoroughly shaped the governmental strategies and political aims for each party. In the 1960s, as was the case in the early 1800s and the reconstruction decade of 1865-1875; one ideological camp checkmated the political strategies of the other camp. In the 1960s, the Anti-Segregationists checkmated the Segregationists and started a policy of political economic integration of the latter; this was essentially the continuance of the North’s attempt during the Reconstruction decade to economically integrate the South into its financial culture. History tells us, despite these seemingly watershed moments where one side has won over the other, proceeding events disprove this assumption. In this episode segment I suggest the reason why this assumption does not hold true is because the true fight was never about Segregationist or Non-Segregationist (Uncle Tom’s Cabins’ author Harriet Beecher Stowe does a marvelous job dispelling this myth) or to a far lesser extent, though move heavily weighing on the institutional structures we have come to rely on for this nation’s health, about Federalist or Anti-Federalist; but more about a Republican Agenda built from competing Republican Structures derived from A system of Republican Philosophy, Laws & Constitutional Organs which could be split up into two separate groups, both deriving themselves from Eurocentric Christian Governmental norms that preceded the country; the first was chiefly found in the South, it could be called a Theocratic Oligarchic Republican System, while the second was chiefly found in the North and could be called a Secular Christian Oligarchic Republican System. Let us imagine for a moment, you are a student in a class or more appropriately, a school lasting for 10 years. Each year represents a specific stage in the evolutionary process of not only yourself but the functioning of the school. You, along with 10 others are selected to “manage” the school for the rest of the students. How are you selected – by birthright. Most students don’t know your name but still revere you and see you as Godlike because your power over them. You inherit the school from your parents who didn’t necessarily take care of it, embroiling it in various conflicts with other schools, letting its structures sag and deteriorate all while penalizing the students who attended and worked there with heavier taxes while all the while decreasing the services and classes available to them. When you inherit the school, sort of, your parents are still there, guiding you and watching over your shoulders, you inherit a fiscal mess and social decay. Not wanting to partways with their stolen, (my mistake) plundered and looted riches; your parents advise you to “stay the coarse” which you do, yet soon after your ascendence, the public doesn’t stay theirs, a moment your parents admit they were ready for. They hand you the keys to a massive surveillance apparatus, a machine you instantly use only to find it makes things worse – what would you do. The planning machine is broken, the elites fear what is to come, with fear comes over reaction. Understanding American made terrorism, domestic terrorism that is, is to understand how the society organizes itself to carry out terroristic acts. That is the point of this episode. Truthfully I think Stephen Colbert said it best, “Hey (certain people) who supported (another certain person), have you had enough”? I thought, momentarily, about using the clip in this episode – then forgot to do so until I wrote the description, but with the episode done I am not excited about re-editing the entire hour-plus to add one clip. Moving on though, this is about what you think its about, the Capital Storming, after the shock wore off, I was able to babble and speak two completely different, though related topic segments for this Episode. The first detailing the long shadow of the problems faced by this country, specifically how that long shadow is often traced back solely to the Baby Boomer Generation when that Generation did not create the problems attributed to them, instead they were inherited. The second segment, deals with the tribalism, the class-caste structure that unites the right far more than it does the left and why that might be. Turning to Dr. King’s Three Evils of Society speech, I thought about a fourth and fifth evil which should be explored and detailed. These Evils, might be more readily called maladies, have been part of America for its entire existence, so they won’t be alien or new to anyone who has had the mind to look deeply at American History for more than 5 years, though even a 5 year cursory look at American History, that being 2015-2020 would probably uncover these maladies also. Birtherism tops that list. But I digress, Dr. King’s Three Evils of Society was an introduction to what he saw as a shifting mission for SCLC, four months prior to delivering that speech he spoke about the original motto for his organization, “To Save the Soul of America” which says a lot about a man whom was to be the most hated person throughout the country because of the speech he used to explain that point. I marvel at his sacrifices during those years, I admire his courage and his honor; for this reason I offer this segment to anyone who cares about this country as much as he did. I found the beginning to the Amanpour and Company segment included at the podcasts start, shocking. “As the rest of the world waits for a formal transition to begin. . .” a statement uttered on November 11, 2020; my mind was jettisoned back to the 1990s where this statement would have been crooned by Tom Brokaw, Dan Rather or Peter Jennings in a segment covering the fits and starts of an immature or deteriorating political system in either South America, after a United States Coup or the former Soviet Republics after a Bankers coup. I had recorded this segment several times before believing it accurately reflected my thinking process behind what I keep calling “the shadows running across my mind”; having planned on publishing the segment during Thanksgiving, the addition of Masha Gessen’s interview confirmed my suspicion that time was needed to perfect its content. To the reader this is likely unimportant, but to me timing is everything, as I think Americans will soon see, we are in a time when presence is the key to overcoming the problems presented, those refusing to accept the way things are and how they become that way, will make turmoil, fragmentation and ultimately destructive tendency the norm; thus pushing America into a deep spiritual and cultural depression which may pull the nation apart permanently. The year was 2011, a movement, ignored by the mainstream media was taking Social Media by storm. This movement, which began during early Autumn, had the good fortune of catching fire while the Republican party was going through the motions of selecting a challenger to sitting president Barak Obama. At the time, it presented some stark challenges to the political winds beginning to blow lukewarm phrases into American’s eardrums, causing those winds to whip up – changing directions as if some great coastal storm was invading the Ohio Valley in defiance of natural currents. Suddenly, rather sitting or hoping to sit, presidents and presidential hopefuls, had to answer the charges lobed by the movement. Instead, I’m going to save my sanity and prepare to end this podcast by winding its production down over the coming two to three months. In the wake of Joe Biden’s presidential win, in the wake of the euphoric celebration that pored onto the street after his win was confirmed by a media who has shown so little care for the state of the public over the last 20 years that their negligence borders on criminal and in the wake of the statements spewed from Democrat Party leadership after they failed to capture the Senate and lost seats in the House (I have a multi-part or segment episode about the Election in production right now); this segment episode seems to be less a retrospective on COVID-19, and more a retrospective on America as it slides into an emergency crisis rivaling that of the Great Depression and the 1890 Depression combined. This is not a happy segment, nor is it one that will be easy to listen too, as if the previous seven were. I recorded this segment before the Election Results were tabulated, yet the information still remains quite true. Like him or not, Donald Trump will go down in history as the man who distorted America to a point where social shattering seemed almost certain to occur in his second term, or if he lost, in the term immediately following his removal. COVID-19, will go down in history as “that thing which made social shattering possible”. Trump, as a man is not remarkable, but as a force – the theme I suspect you now see as forefront in this entire addendum series – he is history defining. In Trump, there are the qualities that did make America Great, there is egotism, an ability to redefine logic and facts to suit your desired ends, an affinity to lie to achieve your personal or group goals, a pleasure in demonizing those who are seen as weak and in your way, a love for the race traitor and a desire to single out “good Negros” as respectable, a visceral hatred for anything smacking of intellectual vigor outpacing your own capacity, a driving force to conquer and dominate to imprint your name on everything you touch (also to demonstrate how much better you are than the people you trample over), a joy in misleading and abusing the working class (to rally against their own interests and wellbeing), and a disdain for real work that will benefit everyone throughout the country. Unfortunately this list in one I developed a couple months after this episode was recorded, so it’s not in the episode, but it is in spirit. Enjoy. Should we be surprised by the manner in which the rich benefited from early governmental warnings of the impact COVID-19 would have on the society and the economy? No. Should we be surprised that some rich people and some government representatives shifted their investment strategies to ensure they could take full advantage of the ensuing economic turmoil caused by COVID-19? No. Should we be surprised that the president, who admitted to Bob Woodward that he understood how severe COVID-19 was, has been giving the public a different story? No. This, and more, reveals just how the rich view their responsibility to amassing wealth and their responsibility to the public who supports their behavior and often contributes to their ability to fulfill that desire. In this episode segment, I discuss how I view Trump’s actions and the actions exhibited by the wealthiest among us. Europeans time to wake up has arrived. From the moment they left their enclaves, they have sought to control, manage, and destroy nature; simultaneously as they have sought to eek out livings from here delicate cycles. This need-hate relationship has lead them to both curse, by destructive acts and beg, through extractive acts; Mother Nature even as they claimed the right to possess her. As I commented last year; Man must decide to back away from its annihilative acts before Mother decides to annihilate Man. In this episode I take this mere sentence and expand on it significantly. Here I speak about the origins of the Coronavirus, how the Bat has been seen as a powerful animal symbol; I speak about how COVID-19 has resulted in Nature healing itself, a sign I believe points to the true motive behind this virus, to stop Humanity from its path of destruction, thus giving Nature time to gather its strength for healing itself. Interestingly, I recorded this segment before the wildfires struck the west, which makes one section seem prophetic. That section describes the phenomenon known as “Global Dimming”, a theory that posited the world was being spared from Global Warmings true force thanks to the number of particles we pump into the air. The surprise addition to this multi-part addendum, this section was spontaneously crafted (as are many of my episodes and segments). One day I was reading the comments left behind on a video detailing the shock Brits experienced when hearing how much Americans paid for health insurance, the responses were so insightful and revealing, and so ravenous to the nation’s concept of itself, I knew I had to record myself reading them and responding to them, thus this was episode segment was born. Don’t not be dismayed though, this is a segment with plenty to offer, I found myself thinking – while relistening to the episode, sometimes the greatest mirror can be built from the love expressed to us from someone who loves us significantly more than we love ourselves. While the podcast segment starts off with a heavy astrological dissection of a large comet which entered our solar system (earlier in the year), it then moves to a much more understandable view of the virus and how the way America has consumed the world, may in fact have been imprinted back into us via the numbers of cases we are seeing (again, earlier in the year) in relation to the rest of the world. Sure, those numbers are inflated thanks to our ignorant response to the threat expressed by COVID-19; but I find the numeric similarities rather interesting. In a theme that will appear again in this multi-segment addendum, the content moves to the mass psychopathy innate – or maybe, I better say, the mass psychopathy expressed - in the actions by those committed to open up the “economy” no matter the cost it will afflict on the humans living in this SOCIETY. I am, so very tired of the wealthy acting as if “the economy” is somehow separated from “the society”, as if one’s health does not depend on the others health. But I digress. Before ending the segment, I speak directly to the wealthy, I speak directly to those who are making the decisions which will determine where this country rests when this pandemic is either tamed or fades away. So what is COVID-19 trying to say to our society – to this civilization? There is so much information packed into this segment (recorded earlier in this year). We are a tired society, here in America, we are an overstressed society, one that desperately needs to calm down, sit down, meditate for a while and figure out how we can continue on without destroying our heart, kidneys and brain with the high blood pressure wracking our overactive, hypertension afflicted society. From this tiredness, this hypertension, comes a number of ailments, many discussed in this episode. From there I talk about “The Makers” and “The Takers”, what they really mean and how the right has completely inverted who they are. Then I speak on the revelation, that in all honesty won’t seem revelatory to anyone whose been paying attention the last two decades; COVID-19 has revealed there is an element inside the governing body that is uninterested in governing (SHOCKER). I recorded this episode in April, but was unhappy with its content so I rerecorded it presently for your consideration. Beginning with a brief comment about the Business (and consumer cycle), I speak to you about the impact COVID-19 is having on the reliance of corporations on the predictable consumption habits of citizens. From this disruption of predictability, emerges a broader problem; COVID-19 has revealed how restrictive Globalization is on each countries ability to care for its citizens. Having recognized this disruption in March, I recorded this episode in April with hopes of explaining it before it took place (only have my inner perfectionist refuse to release it because it wasn’t polished enough – but I digress). For the half the episode I ask the listener to imagine a new financial model where the government sends each American citizen over the age of 18 or emancipated from their parents and not living at home, 2,000 dollars each month, I ask the listener to contemplate what that amount of money could mean to debt repayment, to creating a new generation of small businesses and, if that model was exported to the globe, what it would be to poverty everywhere. In optometry, 20-20 is considered perfect vision, anything less than 20-20 is considered sharpened vision. In this episode I use this very popular concept as the foundation for examining COVID-19 as a change agent. I try to explain how both Trump and Clinton represented socio-body politic diseases, diseases that went back generations. I speak about FDR as the last independent president and how the Bush administration forewarned us of Donald Trump. The disease uncovered by Donald Trump’s appearance on the political landscape in 2016 was still hidden in 2000 – 2008, though many astute people were starting to see it manifest in the actions, inactions and verbal gaffs of the president. But with the signing of the CARES act, we seen the faces of those who have sat behind the throne, dictating politics to us without ever showing their faces. In Donald Trump’s cabinet, many have unveiled their faces to give us, the American people, a look into the eyes of those who run the country from their high rise positions. Who is Donald Trump? Many books have been written to answer this singular question. Why did he get elected? Again, see the previous sentence; both answers are summed up in the title given to this episode, though its simplicity is deceptive. To draw from the Morris Berman clip included in this episode, Trump is America – HE REALLY IS! He is the personification of the Greed principle highly touted by the wealthy, as well as the most grotesque aspects of the Elites collective psychology. But, if that wasn’t enough; he is also White Civilizations most egregious aspects rolled into one orange ball of contradictions. If you’ve read any of the books published about his psychology, you’d be hard pressed not to see his personal problems as separate from this country’s societal problems. Because I am merciful and come from a people who believe personal attacks should only come after one personally attacks you, I do not speak about his personality, but instead look at his leaving thousands of people in the cold without a way to get home after a rally, as a very interesting metaphor. The Democratic Party’s attempts to win back the suburbs, essentially the disaffected voters who left the party in 2016 and – wait for it – 1980, is troubling. With a generational insurgency bubbling up from the grassroots, their attempt to rush away from the left-populist and social democratic yearnings expressed by these future administrators of the country, threatens the more progressive agenda envisioned by the most vocal members inside this group. The writing is on the wall, you can see it in the recent challengers who are taking on the Party machine operators, the Main Street everyman will not be silenced any longer. Yet, the party Elders refuse to acknowledge this burgeoning call – instead resorting to tried and falsified methods for gaining support, methods that include using a vast media apparatus to smear their more populist leaning opponents. In this episode I discuss the implications and potential consequences which will arise from this intergenerational conflict, one with huge political ramifications – one, which Mark Blythe aptly remarked, won’t end in the previous generations wishes being granted, but with the newer ones being instilled. The question I wonder (is) how costly will the conflict become before those who created the mess will finally let us clean it up. Why then, do politicians who have dog whistled for the past 40 years seem utterly surprised, and dare I say frightened, of the dogs who have emerged from the darkest shadowy places throughout this land? Why then, do the politicians, who 25 years ago were considered stars in the Republican party because they more conservative – meaning corporatist – than the moderate conservatives who really believed in non-intrusive non-authoritarian government; why do these politicians act surprised by the callous predatory nature innate in those people they have stoked with their whistling habits. Where they not calling the most despotic tendencies in this society to the surface of those they were whistling to? Where they not feeding beasts when they tossed “red meat” to the masses? Where they not speaking to the baser elements in the human mind when they spoke about fascist ideas without calling them such? In that dusty area resides books that were written to explain why things where how they were and how one might see through the mist and fog towards understanding why people act as they do when in a crowd. Before telling me I’m crazy, really think about what’s happened over the last six months and tell me if time doesn’t seem to have a multiplier engrained into it this year? That aside, yes there is a fiscal cliff coming and we, the wonderful consumers of America are getting hosed good. How could a Senate refuse to pass much needed relief to a population in desperate straights before leaving town? How could a House pass a bill in May providing all the relief necessary for the population, only to have it die due to ideological alignments? I know the modern appetite among Progressives is to beat up Democrats no matter what they do, a sentiment I truthfully don’t mind because they are a pretty horrible corporation – I mean Political Party LLC, but here the Democrats did their job and the Republicans didn’t. After these stories I delve into my historical view of how the European Peasant Class because the Elites Protectorate Class throughout the world, insisting that the dangers posed by Imperialism – those created by the heavy handed and very psychopathic tactics used to capture and secure lands not belonging to Europeans – realigned the social parameters that had governed Europe throughout all its history. Old class rivalries began to fade away as those classes embarked on conquering expeditions demand solidarity and, more importantly, a reimagining of the spiritual tales the Elite crafted to maintain their stranglehold on power on their continent. These new stories still insisted that the Elite were the Elite because God chose them to be, but now the lower classes were damned to drudgery – once they left Europe – nope that work was saved for those who looked different from Europeans. For starters, the economic system used by White Civilization destroys lives on many levels; it devalues human life to resource status, it devalues natural life to resource status, it poisons the environment while encouraging its participants to extract more and more from those environments until they become barren and unable to sustain life. Furthermore, the economic system has revealed itself to be anti-familial and anti-life; it gorges its exploiters on the lifeblood (education) of the oncoming generation, saddling them with so much debt, they can’t start families nor afford homes to continue building on the legacies started by those before them. A few bad apples spoils a bunch, so you remove any bad apples so the bunch wouldn’t be spoiled right. However, if upon noticing the spoiled apples you prevent anyone from moving them, then any concerned observer would assume you want the bunch spoiled. Here we find the problem with many Police Union arguments against public accountability. In today’s episode I tackle this problem while asking you to consider policing as a form of civilian militarism before offering up a prescription of what this society requires to heal itself and bring an end to the carnage President Trump mentioned in his first inauguration speech. We need Social workers, real social workers and teams dedicated to sewing up the social fractures in society, allowing police officers to tackle real crime. To some this will seem like a anti-police officer show, but it’s not, I have sympathy for all those good officers wishing they could pursue their passion for crime solving without the needless hassle of filling quotas and bringing in revenue for over stretched municipalities unable to tax corporations. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

I suggest there is, and not it’s not because “the American dream is back bigger, better and stronger than before”, all though that is a great line (. . .only tempered by the fact that dreams end and often cruelly so, especially when those dreams are escape mechanisms or imposed by psychologically destructive realities. . . .but I digress) it signals something frightening to the global elite and the huddled masses who may still believe in The Donald’s rhetoric. His speech says “austerity works” in a corporatist environment where the dignity of work is a euphemism for “obey”. Mr. Trump, in other words, has joined the global elite; he is their savior and is telling them that his ways work. Not a good sign for this country’s future. Here we go into the unknown – “it’s the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine”! Okay, maybe quoting REM isn’t appropriate here, but lets be serious, how many of you from that generation have been thinking about that song revolving around your inner-mind? That song doesn’t make an appearance in this podcast, but overproduction does, so doesn’t the approaching conversation over globalization. And, so doesn’t the anti-petrodollar movement both Gaddafi and Sadam mistakenly tried to ignite in order to rid themselves of America’s heavy handed rules. Both are connected, byway Apple and Wal-Mart offshoring jobs to fit in with the Neoliberal clubhouse they so badly wanted into. I speak very briefly on the bailout, how $1200 dollars will not be enough to live on for two weeks, to say nothing about a month. I have a lot to say about China’s concerns over the ending of globalization, something I know I’ll talk about more in the coming months. I am only human, recording this first part of a multi-part episode exposes that fact. I speak candidly about my own disbelief, a disbelief made more maddening by an illness that rattled my bones. Venturing out to see the panicked customers stripping bare the grocery story shelves was utterly shocking; as was watching the number of those infected climb. When I recorded this video, the state I reside in – New York, was clearly the national leader or pandemic epicenter (for this country and) for cases reported, just how far ahead they would sprint was unclear to me at the time. Always a “glass half full” kind of guy, a guy who wants to know “why is the glass only half full”, I ponder what we might extract from this pandemic. Because the crisis was still unfolding, because so little about its length was known, I was struggling to answer that question outright. Yet, my previous episode, which asked the question, what is the role of government, led my answer and my conclusions. (This episode was recorded a few weeks before the Iowa Caucuses, it doesn’t contain any refer to them but the content is still very apt). In all the conversations I have heard over Limited Government, Overbearing Government, Libertarianism, NeoConservatism, NeoLiberalism and a variant of other topics, seldom – if ever – have I heard any of the commentators answer the question posed in the title. I have come to believe answering this single question will unleash a force heretofore missing from our political dialogue, the force to rework and realign political ideologies. Such a realignment has happened twice before in this countries history, first in the Post-Reconstruction years and second in the Great Depression. Some argument could be made for the Progressive Era, since much of the corruption prevalent during the Post-Reconstruction years was unraveled during this time period; I decided to reject this argument though, deciding to see that era’s unraveling as becoming hypersonic and burning with social consciousness during the FDR response to the Great Depression. While this thinking colored my commentary, it did not make it into this podcast episode (I thought you might want to know about it anyway). Enjoy! When Greta Thunberg set sail for America she might have had an idea that her presence in the land of liberty and freedom (hem), would create a fierce backlash from those industrial interests who see her as a threat to their prerogatives, Little did she know, the backlash she would encourage was so devastating harsh, it would not only echo from every corner of Conservative media, but would impactfully dismiss and smear every young person who her presence inspired. They became unwilling dupes in a financially profitable Democratic game, spearheaded by non-scientists, who saw environmentalism as simply a way to make government bigger and corporations bow down to. . . .tyranny (I think). The arguments were laughable, but ultimately inciteful within NeoConservative circles. In this episode I share with you a number of thoughts I had concerning this reaction, including how ancient mythologies instruct my vision as to whom these business people are and why they act the way they do.
