We rundown the Mike Alessi incident, discuss Logan Best leaving the Moto E program, and more.
We had Austin Squires on to let us know the perspective of a journeyman privateer. He competed for almost ten years on the National circuit.

This week we discussed the one way beating Webb has handed Roczen, but both guys are successful in their own terms. Roczen is the greatest comeback story the sport has ever seen, and Webb is the modern-day Bob Hannah. I tell the story of wanting to beat another media member senseless, but coming to my senses just in time.I apologize for some of the audio, we are looking into some better recording options ASAP!
After being threatened and bullied to points we hadn't imagined, we have weathered the storm and are back and stronger than ever!

(Correction, Hill wore Leatt in 2020 and wanted it in 2021, which was the hold out)Nobody doubts the talent of Justin Hill, but his poor work ethic and entitlement are legendary and not in the right way. In a year when teams are struggling for sponsorship dollars and 2021 is uncertain, it's moronic for Hill and Joey Savatgy to be making unrealistic demands or being difficult. They both may have ended their racing careers with their off-track mistakes.
This episode of Cooksey and The Coach featured GNCC racer, Joshua Guffey. Joshua had some insight highlighting the differences between Motocross and Off-Road racing. Robb and Cooksey had some thoughts on the unfortunate death at Glen Helen last week and Ryan Hughes's aggressive Instagram post. EBC BrakesDCor VisualsEnergy FuelTwo Four SpeedMotoXAddicts
We had future superstar Logan Best on the podcast for a 14-year-old kid, and he is extremely well-spoken and intelligent. I wouldn't say I like the current Amateur system or how it grooms talent, but Robb and the Best family have put Logan in a perfect opportunity for success. We talk about some strategies to avoid wintertime blues, stress from the election, or any other issues. Life can feel daunting, but we need to focus on what we can control. This week we talked about the 2021 Monster Energy Supercross schedule and Malcolm Stewart signing with Star Yamaha. The hurdles the Stewart family has overcome are enormous; let's not forget when James broke into the sport, racism was widespread in the sport. Before Jeremy McGrath, there was a "Showtime" not many remember, Mike "Showtime" Bias! He grew up in West Virginia with the Coombs family, and they were promoting races back in the '80s. Dave Coombs Sr. made great strides to give Motorcycle racing the attention it deserved. Sr. teamed up with the USHRA to bring Arenacross alive; he had motorcycles, quads, and three-wheelers racing inside Madison Square Garden. His star was Mike "Showtime" Bias, so much so that he became the focal point for a VHS video documenting the series. Mike was an inspiration for me as a kid, and I wondered about him, and why his career never went much further after the video, so I reached out, and our conversation was informative and fun! Here is a link: Motorock 2 The Superstars of Motocross EBC BrakesDcor VisualsTwo Four SpeedMotoXAddictsEnergy Fuel

This podcast is an extra special episode of Cooksey and The Coach, Robb joined Cooksey in his Las Vegas studio. Robb and Cooksey live on opposite sides of the country, so having them in a studio is rare, but it made an entertaining show. They talked about Eli Tomac and if he should have let his teammate Adam Cianciarulo win the second moto at Lakewood. They touched on Garrett Marchbanks's new team, and Cooksey was less than pleased with Garrett's agent. They discussed the past weekend at Western Raceway, where Coach Robb held a performance camp and used Cooksey and Johnny Hopper as riding coaches. As always, thanks to the show sponsors!EBC BrakesD'Cor VisualsTwo Four SpeedMotoXAddicts.comComplete Racing SolutionsWestern Raceway
This week Coach Robb is jet setting across the country, so they recorded the podcast at midnight while Robb was at the airport. Robb told us how to train your inner breathing muscles, seriously! Robb has an endless amount of ways to improve human performance. EBC Brakes D'Cor VisualsTwo Four Speed MotoXAddicts
This week Cooksey and Robb take a look back at the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross race from Spring Creek and look forward to WW Ranch this weekend. They both reference Daniel Blair and some ideas he had and Cooksey thinks his idea about having Ferrandis start with privateers is a good idea, who knew they agreed about anything?EBC BrakesD'Cor VisualsTwo Four SpeedMotoXAddicts.com
