Greetings everyone! We are continuing our series on practical truth for the Christian walk. Often times, so many people become Christians, but don't really think about what happens after that. So, in this series, we want to explain theologically and practically what happens after we become Christians. On this podcast, we are diving into how we have sustaining faith or faith that lasts. I'm sure we have all heard story after story of those who have "lost" their faith or salvation. We have also all heard many Christians who have just grown stagnant and away from the Lord. But you know even as born again believers, we need to be constantly reminded of how to have strong faith. We need Christians today that last! We need Christians today that understand fully the doctrine of eternal security! We need Christians who are willing to walk in step with the Spirit and not the flesh! Tune into this podcast to get some theological and practical wisdom for having truly sustaining faith! #podcast #bible #christian #christiansalvation #sanctification
In this podcast, join us as we begin discussing the Christian Life! On this episode, we dive into how to put your faith into action! We are firm believers that the Bible teaches that salvation is only the beginning of the Christian life. After we get saved, we begin this process of sanctification, where we become more like Christ, live more in step with the Spirit, and become more holy. The problem for many of us is not just what to do, but how to maintain a lifelong committment to God. We both believe in the doctrine of eternal security, which is that no one can lose their salvation. But, we also both know and understand that this doesn't make the Christian life easy. It still takes dedication and a serious relationship with the Lord. On this podcast specifically, we get into what this Christian life is like for the long term. Our hope is through this series, you will be encouraged, motivated and ready to live for Christ better and better each day! We hope that you are encouraged to live a godly life and share that godly life and truth with others, believers and nonbelievers alike! God bless!
Greetings everyone! On this episode I (Jonathan) interview my daughter for a couple of minutes! If you are listening to the audio version, I would highly encourage you to watch the video! Emerald asked me if she could record a podcast with me and here we are! I hope you enjoy this and get a kick out of it! "Start a youth out on his way; even when he grows old he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6 CSB
Well everyone, 2024 has officially come to an end. Grace bond Ministries has now been active for 3 and a half years! Over this past year, we changed to publishing just one podcast a month due to time constraints and Christian and I, but over thise past year, we have had many conversations about difficult and controversial topics. We also tackled a few lighter topics that were meant to encourage you more than anything. We also, over this last year, thanks to viewers and supporters like you, have grown and are continuing to grow the podcast! What started off with me (Jonathan) just recording some videos on a few of my thoughts, has turned into a stable, growing podcast! I am glad to be a part of it, and we hope and pray that we have been able to get some conversations started, taught some valuable information, and encourage you into deeper study and dedication to the Lord! In this podcast, specifically, Christian and I briefly review every podcast and topic we've discussed over the last year! We hope that by doing this if you have missed a podcast, maybe our brief review will help you find something you are interested in and will be beneficial to your spiritual growth! Or, maybe you will find something interesting that you would like to hear our thoughts on! We also share a short devotional at the end of the podcast encouraging you as you begin your 2025 year! Thank you so much for tuning in, and we hope you are blessed and encouraged by what we do here! God bless!

Merry Christmas from Christian and Jonathan of Grace Bond Ministries! On this month's episode, GBM takes a deep dive into the birth of Jesus, which will be celebrated across the world on December 25! After opening up with a reading of the account of His birth in Luke 2, we discuss a few aspects. The first is the different messianic prophecies of Jesus found in the Old Testament. We want you to think like these 1st century Jews who had been expecting the Messiah for a long time. What were they expected? And, did Mary know? ;) Second, we pick out a couple of key points found in the birth accounts. This, we believe, will encourage all of us to slow down and dive into the important details of the accounts of Jesus's birth! Thirdly, we discuss why the birth of Jesus means so much, even 2000 years after the Messiah was born! This was a great podcast, and will most definitely get us set for Christmas day, when we all celebrate the birth of our savior and messiah! Thanks for tuning in! Please be sure to like, share, and subscribe to help grow the ministry! Want to know more about us or watch/listen on a different platform? Check out our website: gracebondministries.weebly.com! Greetings everyone! We are on the LAST political podcast before the 2024 election. On this podcast, we decided to group two unrelated topics together: Immigration and Religious Freedom. We begin the podcast talking about the biblical understanding of immigration. Where should a Christian stand in relation to this topic when it comes to US politics? Should we have open or closed borders? How should we treat the immigrants that are already in our country? Find out at the beginning of this podcast what our personal thoughts are about this, and, most importantly, what the Bible says about it! Then in the second half of this podcast, we tackled the topic of religious freedom. The issue we have in the political realm during this election is that we make a logical case for religious freedom that protects not only religious freedom for all people, but also freedom of speech. As we get into this issue, we discuss practical ways in which the candidates may or may not support true religious freedom or freedom of speech. We also discuss briefly about the various governments that existed during biblical times and how God's people responded. And yes, this does conclude our politics series! Be sure to check out our other episodes at our website, gracebondministries.weebly.com. Also be sure to subscribe, follow, share and leave reviews for the podcast to help it grow! Don't forget to vote! God bless!
Greetings everyone! Christian and I (Jonathan) have recorded another podcast addressing political concerns that Christians should consider. In this podcast, we specifically talk about the major issue of sexuality. We spent some time explaining through scripture what the Christian worldview is regarding the LGBTQ+ lifestyles. We believe the scriptures clearly outline what God thinks about this, along with how God teaches us to respond to it. We also explain why, from a Christian perspective, it is important to consider this issue when voting in the November election. Although not much about this is mentioned much by politicians anymore, we believe that if it is important to God, then it is important to us, as followers of Chirst, as well. Therefore, we should consider this issue when we vote! Want to learn more about Grace Bond Ministries? Check out our website, gracebondministries.weebly.com. Hello everyone! Christian and I (Jonathan) are continuing our politics series. On the last episode, "Politics: Where Do We Begin?", we spent some time laying the foundations for political discussions and thoughts. So, I would recommed listening to that podcast first, before listening to this one. On this podcast, we are discussing the topic of abortion. This has obviously become a very heated topic, and it has been for a long time. There are typically two sides of the argument. There is the pro-life side, which defends the idea that abortion is wrong, since it is the ending of a life. People who belive this view, typically see life beginning at conception. Then the argument goes, that if the life begins at conception that an abortion at any stage of the pregnancy would be considered murder of a person. The other major view has typically be called pro-choice. Pro-choice people believe that since an abortion has to do with the body of a mother, then the mother of the fetus should be the sole decider whehter or not to contine the pregnancy. Typically, most pro-choice defenders believe that a baby does not become a person until it is viable outside of the mother's womb. Now, there are obviously some specifics that differ, but these are the main viewpoints. In this podcast, Christian and I talk about the arguments from both sides, give some specific examples, explain the development of the fetus in the woman's body, and give our thoughts on both pro-choice and pro-life. Christians specifically need to know which side of this debate they should stand on. Is it better for a Christian to be pro-choice or to be pro-life. Can you even be a Christian and be dogmatic about one or the other? We also get into some of the new laws that are being voted on in November. No matter which side of the debate you stand on, we believe you will find this podcast beneficial as you hear the arguments from both sides, and as you learn more about the science and philosophy that adds to this discussion. Now, we also know you may have a lot you want to share with us after hearing our thoughts. We just kindly ask that you listen the entirety of the podcast, and then send us an email or a message for further discussion. Greetings! Christian and I (Jonathan) decided a few weeks ago amid the coming election and all that is going on that we wanted to do a series on politics. So, over the next few months, we will be discussing specific politcal topics from a biblical and Christian perspective. In this podcast, we begin the series by discussing the basics of Christianity and its relationship with politics. We've noticed that a lot of Christians get angry and commit sins in the name of their political parties. Christians post ungodly, sinful social media posts, Christians condemn other Christians because of their political beliefs, some Christians just completely try to steer clear of it all together, Christians get frustrated when their pastors don't talk about politics enough, some Christians just don't really know where to even start with politics. Tune in as Christian and I begin this discussion, and give you some Christian, biblical advice on how to handle yourself in the political environment we all live in! Let us know your thoughts by leaving a comment or emailing us at gracebondministries@gmail.com. Want more content or to read our blogs? Check out our website at gracebondministries.weebly.com.
Does the perfect Christian exist? Often times, we judge other Christians and say they aren't good Christians, or that person isn't really saved. We also will come across many people who call Christians and Christian leaders hypocrites because they fall short or struggle with sin. Other times, we say that certain Christians are great Christian people. Or we will say that person doesn't do anything wrong. It all begs the question: does the perfect Christian exist? Can Christians be good Christians, dedicated to the Lord if they still have struggles with sins? How good of a Christian does someone have to be to be a pastor, church leader, teacher, evangelist, etc. Well in this podcast, I (Jonathan) dive into a passage in Romans 7, where Paul talks about his struggle with sin. I believe in that passage, that Paul gives us characteristics of what a truly perfect Christian is like. Tune into this sermon as I share what scripture teaches about this issue! Greetings everyone! In this podcast, Christian and I had the opportunity to interview a mentor that is dear to our hearts, Steve Edwards. He serves as the women's basketball head coach and the campus pastor at Brewton Parker College in Mt. Vernon, GA. BPC is where Christian and I both got our B.A. degrees in Christian Studies. During our years at BPC, coach Edwards was one of our closest mentors. He has been in ministry for many years, and has a lot of God stories to share, along with advice for ministers. Throughout this podcast, Steve shares his story and discusses his life as a minister. Throughout the conversation, we spent a lot of time just discussing ministry from all of our perspectives and sharing some important advice from experience and scripture about "Ministry Lifers" as Steve called it! It was a great discussion and we are excited to share it with all of you! Hello everyone! On this podcast, I (Jonathan Jenkins) am sharing a sermon I preached to my church. This sermon is a summary of a month's worth of teaching True Love Waits to the youth at my church. There is a lot that is covered and many questions that are answered regarding this issue. I start out by talking about what TRUE love is, what kind of relationships do we have, etc. Then I get into the topic of sex and how God through His word deals with that issue. Finally, I summarize with a response for the Gospel. This is a much needed message today to clear up many misunderstandings and abuses found within the sexual culture that we live in. This is one of those topics where we need to stand firm on the Word of God as Christians! What is sin and what does God allow? Well, we need to find the principles in the Bible that make this very clear! Find out what the Bible says about all of this in this week's episode of Grace Bond Ministries! If you feel convicted of sin or need someone to talk to about this, please email me at gracebondministries@gmail.com. As always, please like, subscribe and share! God bless! You can find the entire playlist on different topics, where we focus on what the scriptures say about a specific topic. On this podcast, we are focusing in on what the Bible says about tattoos. Is it wrong for a Christian to get a tattoo? If not, what type of tattoo can a Christian get? What if a Christian already has a tattoo? What do other religions and people believe about tattoos? What Bible verses support the various views? We will tackle these questions and more during this podcast! Well, we are sure you all have seen the He Gets Us commerical that played during the super bowl in 2024, and another commercial appeared during the super bowl in 2023. The commercials have also appeared on other shows and events on TV as well. The He Gets Us campaign has caused quite the controversey from all sides of our highly divided culture. Liberals, conservatives, Christian, non-Christian, etc. have all began throwing their opinions around about this campaign. Some say it has a bad agenda, others say it is not fair to the Gospel. Well, Christian and I spent some time reasearching the campaign, watching and listening to some other thoughts and opinions on this topic, and recorded this episode of the podcast. We take a deep dive into the criticism that the campaign is receiving, read some interesting things directly off of their website, share some interesting quotes, etc. We felt like we have fairly and generously laid out what is really going on and if any of the criticisms are actually accurate. We also have a theological discussion on evangelism and pre-evangelism. We covered quite a bit in this episode, but we wanted to make sure we gave a fair review of the issues at hand. During the Christmas season, we often here the slogan from Christians: "Remember the reason for the season." Now, this is a good slogan, based on the fact that Christmas day is a day of celebration for Christ's birth. But, did you know there is a possibility that Jesus may not have been born on December 25? Not that it is a huge deal about which day we celebrate the birth of our savior, but it is interesting to research it! Christian and I (Jonathan) have spent some time researching the most accurate birth date of Jesus and shared it in this podcast! We tried our best to give a fair presentation of the data, and to help you begin studying deeper into this topic if you desire! While this is not a major theological issue, it was quite interesting to research, and we think you will be interested to hear this one too! God bless you and merry Christmas! Want more? This passage of scripture talks about some interesting relationships that we have, and how we can honor Christ in obedience in those relationships. These include the marriage, parent and child, and employee employer relationships. How can we follow God in these 3 major relationships? Listen to this short devotional on it!
This topic seems to come up every year during the Holiday season, especially around Halloween. Christians are divided over whether or not the Bible mandates that all Christians should stay away from secular holidays, or at least the Holiday activities that do not seem to promote God. In this November epsiode, Christian and Jonathan spend some time in God's Word looking at Biblical principles to help us answer this question! Instead of focusing on one specific Holiday, they give general principles to help lead you in making a faithful God honoring decision in whether or not YOU should participate in Holiday festivities. Share your thoughts with Grace Bond Ministries by emailing us at gracebondministries@gmail.com. Greetings! In this episode, we are sharing a sermon that Jonathan preached at Hernando Christian Academy for their chapel service. It was an apologetic message on the reliability of the Gospels and the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Happy Sunday everyone! If you haven't listened yet, please go check out the podcast update video. We have announced a new podcast releasing strategy to help grow the podcast! Today's podcast is the sole podcast for October 2023. Perhaps you have seen some of the shorts from this episode, or maybe you haven't. So, let me explain a little bit about this conversation we had. Christian and I are both youth pastors that use the Old and New Testaments for everything we do in church and life. Now, the New Testament is easily acceptable, since it is the New Covenant which Jesus, himself, instituted for Christians. The questions come in with the Old Testament. What do we do with it? Does it all apply to our lives? Is it just a history book for the Jews? Does the Old Covenant still apply to Christains today? Well, Christian and I answer all of these questions and more as we hopefully help you get excited about the Old Testament! God had a purpose for it and still does, and we want to share that with you! Let us know your thoughts on this topic! God bless! #bible #christianity #oldtestament #newtestament #God #theology #covenant
Greetings everyone! Christian and I are changing up the way we are releasing podcasts. Perhaps you are looking to purchase a good Bible, but with all of the various options, you're not sure which type of Bible you need? Well, in this podcast, they go deep into this topic, answering all of these questions and explaining the various types of Bible translations and their philosophical backing! This is a deep topic, but it is definitely a very interesting one! So tune in and let us know what you're favorite Bible translation is and why! God bless! Christian walks us through Hebrews 12:1-3 by explaining how God calls us to a race. Many times, Christians get saved and then they stay there. Maybe Christians become stagnant. One the keys to this is becoming more than a believer. We, as Christians need to be disciples of Jesus, not just saved by Jesus, but disciples! In this podcast, I (Jonathan) discuss in a sermon a few ways that we can all become more than believers. We can become committed and passionate followers of Jesus Christ. This sermon is very practical and will surely help you become a stronger Christian! I disucss a little bit about the call of discipleship and what a disciple is, and then I discuss some practical ways in which we can become more than believers. I hope God uses this to speak to you! Hello everyone! We had the opportunity to hear what God has done in the life of Mrs. Jo Ann Lapp from her childhood all the way to today! Mrs. Jo Ann grew up in a religious culture, but not neccesarily a Christian culture. She knew a little bit about God and the Bible growing up, but she was lacking a relationship with Him. As a teenager, she began to see Christ in others in a powerful way! It was quite an interesting story, and we are exctied to share it with you! Greetings! When it comes to mental health in the Christian church today, there are a lot of varying opinions. Some hyper charismatics claim every disease and mental illness is some sort of demonization, while some others don't even believe demons are an active part of this world. Could mental health be the result of a fallen human nature? Are there times where someone has a mental health issue like depression and it is caused by demonic possession or some sort of demonic activity? If you follow us on social media, you know we said that we wanted to begin to look into some of the charismatic focuses. Here is one of our first starts! We joined together as guests on @freeandredemmed7935 to discuss demonic activity and how it relates or maybe doesn't relate to mental health. If you have any questions, comments or concerns, or are interested in being a guest on the show, please email us at gracebondministries@gmail.com! Thanks and God bless!
Hello brothers and sisters in Christ! For this podcast, we are releasing a sermon Jonathan preached at his church (First Baptist Church of Floral City, Fl). The sermon was entitled "Remain or Regain" and is an expository sermon going through the passage of John 15:1-8. Within this passage, we are called to remain in Jesus Christ as He remains in us! It is a powerful and important passage for all of us to understand! Let me know what you think in the comments! Please share! God bless! #sermon #youthpastor #bible #gospelofjohn #gospel #podcast
HUGE PODCAST! In this podcast, I had the opportunity of interviewing Dr. Michael Brown! Dr. Brown is the host and founder of AskDrBrown Ministries and president of Fire School of ministry. He holds a PhD in Near Eastern Languages, and he is known all across the world as a defender of the faith and most known for his work answering the Jewish objections to the Christian faith. He was written many, many books, covering a plethora of topics. Dr. Brown was also the man that inspired me to start Grace Bond Ministries! In this interview, I asked Dr. Brown to briefly share his testimony of how we went from "LSD to PhD" (As he describes it)! This question is a huge topic in our world today. Some people believe that nobody anywhere should ever drink even a drip of alcohol. Others believe there is nothing wrong with drinking alcohol, as long as it is done in moderation. Still, others believe that there is absolutely nothing wrong with drinking alcohol or even getting drunk, just as long as you do so safely. So, which of these is true according to God's Holy Word? Does God care about the alcohol we drink or do not drink? Find out in this podcast! gracebondministries.weebly.com #podcast #bible #alcohol #christianity #youtube #alcoholism
Jonathan and Christian are back! We have both wrestled with personally and have been asked by many others about the problem of evil. In short, the problem of evil goes like this: If God is omnisicient (knows everything), omnipotent (all powerful), omnipresent (is everywhere), and is all loving, then why does He allow evil? Why did He allow my family member to die? Why is allowing rape, murder, war, etc. Why does all of this take place if God could stop it? That is the argument that Christian and I have been addressing in personal conversations for years now, so we want to share what we believe to be a confident answer for the hope that we have in Jesus Christ! We believe that anyone, Christian or not, will highly benefit from listening to our conversation! #god #bible #christianity #philosophy #reasoning #apologetics #youtube
A lot of people that struggle with prayer really struggle with the issue of "unanswered" prayer. This is when someone prays for something and does not feel like God answers their request. For many people, this becomes such a major issue, that they begin to doubt God. We discuss this very topic in this podcast with the host of @TheRemnantRadio , Joshua Lewis. Are you struggling with prayer? Do you wonder what God is doing sometimes when He doesn't seem to answer your prayer? This podcast will answer those questions and more as we dive into God's Word for a clear understanding of prayer and an explanation of why God may not fulfill our requests. Be sure to share to help others who may be struggling with this issue as well! God bless! #bible #christianity #prayer #youtube #podcast #discussion
Well everyone this is a SUPER exciting episode, because we are joined by a popular Christian podcaster: Joshua Lewis from @TheRemnantRadio ! One of the most talked about actions of Christians far and wide is prayer. There are many different understandings and uses of prayer in today's church, but which understanding is correct? Is everyone praying according to what the Bible says about prayer? What does the Bible say about prayer? In this podcast, we have a discussion with Josh about what some of the verses and passages about prayer actually mean and how we can clearly apply them to our lives. We also offer some guidance to those who may have misunderstood what Biblical prayer really is! This was a deep theological conversation, and we hope you also will see the Bible's clear teaching on prayer! #church #christianity #prayer #truth #theology #bible #youtube #podcast

Hello everyone! On this week's podcast, I (Jonathan Jenkins) am sharing a sermon I preached to the church. Find out what the Bibe says about all of this in this week's episode of Grace Bond Ministries! If you feel convicted of sin or need someone to talk to about this, please email me at gracebondministries@gmail.com. As always, please like, subscribe and share! God bless!
The big new Christian movie is out called: Jesus Revolution. It is the story of a historical Christian movement that included the late Chuck Smith and Lonnie Frisbee and also pastor Greg Laurie of Harvest Church. What do people think of the movie? What do the critics think of the movie? What are my (Jonathan) thoughts on the movie? At the end of the podcast, I take some time to talk about how to be a part of what Jesus is doing today across our world! He is the same Jesus that was here on this earth 2000 years ago and he is still changing lives through the Gospel of grace, and you can be a part of it! Find out how in this podcast! P.S. I don't spoil the movie enough to ruin it for you, so feel free to watch or listen to this podcast even before you go see the movie! God bless!
What is discipleship? If you asked multiple Christians and pastors what discipleship is and an even tougher question: how do we implement it in our churches, you would receive multiple responses. There is a lot of confusion and guessing that surrounds the idea of Christians discipling other Christians. There is also an issue of a lack of discipleship in the lives of many Christians and churches. On this podcast, we invited one of our friends, Ray Sullivan on to discuss this podcast. Ray Sullivan currently serves as a discipleship catalyst for the Georgia Baptist Mission Board. He felt the burden to study this topic in depth, and to help implement discipleship in churches. He explains what discipleship is, some important aspects of the discipleship process, encourages pastors and Christians in this area and clears up a lot of confusion surrounding disciplesip! It was a great conversation, and I know you will be blessed by it!
One thing that I have been told over and over and over again by people (parents, friends, neighbors, etc.) is that Christianity or, more broadly speaking, religion is not for them. I've invited parents of teens at my church to my church before, and that is the response that I have gotten. I bet all of us Christians have noticed that people are turned off today to any type of organized religion. We may have even heard Christians use the phrase: "I don't have a religion, I have a relationship." There is a battle getting people interested in Christianity and realizing that they need a savior and Jesus Christ is the ONLY savior. So, how do we go about responding to our friends and neighbors that claim that religion is not for them? How do we respond to people that believe Christianity is nothing more than a hobby that gives people some meaning to life? Find out in this podcast!
Greetings everyone! In this podcast, Christian and I spend time discussing Baptism and what the Bible has to say about it. Any Christian knows that Baptism is very important, but did you know that there are a lot of debatable topics that have to do with baptism. Christian and I discuss some of these things like is Baptism neccesary for salvation (Baptisimal Regeneration), but we also spend a good chunk of time just looking at what the scriptures say that Baptism is. This is such an important topic for any Christian out there, and this podcast will help you know and understand Baptism better! If you have any other additional questions, comments or concerns, reach out to us! God bless!
Writing a sermon is a difficult task, especially when you are just beginning to preach or someone asks you to speak. In this podcast, Christian and I discuss how we right sermons. Now, we both think there is a major difference in writing and preaching a sermon to youth as to adults or even younger children. We specifically want to help youth leaders and pastors write sermons with youth as the audience. So, we talk about the whole process from start to finish on how to write a sermon to youth! If there are other aspects you would like us to discuss or go into more detail on, then please email us at gracebondministries@gmail.com! God bless!

Hello everyone! This is a podcast that I have been wanting to do for awhile! Christian and I had the privilege of talking to an up and coming Christian rapper (JayRozay)! I've got to be honest, the conversation did not go the way I planned, but it went even better than planned! Jordan Rousay is a Christian rap artist who performs in various places as a ministry. I have to tell you, his music is powerful, well-produced and evangelistic! And, in this podcast, Jordan shares with us the story of how God changed his life and how God paved the path for him to create Christian rap music! This is an interview that you do not want to miss! Greetings brothers and sisters in Christ! You will not want to miss this podcast! Christian and I (Jonathan) have a discussion with Lydia about a very hot topic in the theological world: complementarianism versus egalitarianism. To find out more about what these two terms mean, you'll want to tune in, but in short, this discussion is about the roles of men and women in the church and in the home. Is the role of pastor only meant for men, or are women also allowed to be pastors? What about in a home? Do the roles of men and women complement one another, or are both genders equally designed to play any role in the home and church? Most importantly, what does the Bible teach about this issue? Well, in this podcast, we got really deep and biblical in this discussion with our good friend Lydia, who brought some brilliant insights to this discussion! This podcast is a replay, but now, both parts of the podcast have been grouped together into this one podcast! Make sure you tune in and email us your thoughts at gracebondministries@gmail.com ! Thanks and God bless!
We discuss what the Bible tells us about righteous anger and how can we apply the principles in our own lives. This video is to answer the question: can we be angry and not sin?
