One word. OZZY! I've interviewed him on several occasions and this by far is my favorite. The 10th anniversary of my beloved OZZFEST! He was on fire. I think I scared even The Prince Of Darkness at the beginning of the interview. Thank you OZZY for always being kick ass. METALLICA! The second greatest rock band EVER! Whose number one, ummmmm Led Zeppelin. FACT!!!!!! As with Cornell, I was supposed to interview Lars. And to my delight, Papa Het walked in the room. We started a little rough, but once he realized I was a fan, the whole thing changed. What was supposed to be 10 ,imuts turned into about twenty. He even did ID's for the entire air staff, and he loved doing the open's for Metallica Alphabetica!!!!!!! Thats where we played every single Metallica song in alphabetical order. He thought WCCC was the greatest radio station he had ever heard of. And he was right..........

Thats right. Maynard Jesus Keenan. He has been referred to as that and will remain to be referred to as that until one of us dies. I think he is going to out live me. One of my favorite interviews with him. I've interviewed him with, A Perfect Circle, Pucifer, and wine stuff, but when he talks about TOOL he gets on a trip. 10,000 Days was the subject. And some think he's a little bit of a prick, but I will tell you he is one of my favorites to interview. Really no one more honest and even loving. Sometimes.......

Here I am thinking I am going to interview Tom Morello (Or as I referred to him as Tommy and I was brought to task by is lead singer.), Audioslave was playing at WCCC's anniversary show, and in walks Chris Cornell. Every female within a ten foot radius melted. And a few of the guys did as well. Damn he was a good looking dude! Smart and funny too! I was nervous because I had to think of questions of him on the fly, but I think it worked out. I had heard he was difficult to interview, but he was not that day, and he remains one of my favorites. Talent above all. He is missed. Rest In Peace MR. Cornell.........

I have to tell you that I loooooooooove #8! He is great!!!!!!! From the very first time we met at Ozzfest 99 I will never forget how vicious Slipknot was onstage and then how cool they were off!!!!!! And nothing has changed. Corey is an example of how all rockstars should be. He never forgot where he came from and the people that truly supported him and his endeavors. From day 1!!!!!!!!! This is one of the last interviews I did with him, backstage in Hartford and the entire video can be seen at the iRock Radio Youtube page. Of all the artists I have interviewed he remains one of my favorites. I miss chatting with him........Yes Corey I said #legend, and I meant it.........

If you love rock and roll, then, you probably love the hottest band in the world.....KISS!!!!!! KISS Army Member since 1977!!!!!! That's right and I am proud of it!!!!! So I had a great conversation with Mr. Paul Stanley prior to one of the shows at the what was The Meadows Music Theater in Hartford CT. Again I apologize for the audio (A million dollar station and our phone lines sucked sometimes!) Hahahahaha! So my sheer excitement of talking to The Starchild was off the charts. I mean come. Even though as a child I would always dress like Gene. I have the tongue for it. Mr. Stanley forgave me.............

You never turn down an interview. It makes you better at your craft. I like to think outside the box. I'll interview anybody! Of course I specialize in musicians, but I have also interviewed people you probably never would of thought I would. If this guy were still alive I have to believe he and I would have a podcast together. He and his wife were doing a benefit for a 9-11 charity, and he wanted to get the word out. So when I was asked if I would chat with Bohdi? My answer was "F*** Yeah!!!!!!!". We aired this just as you are going to hear it. (Sorry about the quality.) He and I chatted for about 15 minutes. We chatted about some stuff that didn't air. But we got his message out. But what amazed me is he called me back, not only to thank me but to get my info so we could stay in touch. He was one hardcore dude!!!!!!! And he was a really nice guy. He truly is missed...........Enjoy!

Many moons ago as Wayne Manor was in its infancy, a young radio host interviewed and "Metal God". I had interviewed a few musicians prior to this but this was my first sit down with any sort of rock and roll, LEGEND!!!!!!! The interview you are about to listen to is my very first interview as we were getting ready to debut Wayne Manor. The whole thing runs about 21 minutes, but I asked some of the same questions, and a lot of chatter went on. So I got to the meat and potatoes of it for you. Chapter Two, Part One…… Jules Muck began writing graffiti as a teen in Europe and England in the 90s. Back in NYC she worked under Lady Pink for many years. Muck was christened into graffiti by some great early legends. She has been published in numerous books and graffiti publications. Muck has had work in numerous collaborative projects and she was one of the first females to paint at 106th and Park Hall of fame in NYC. She has painted murals for tv shows and movies including Under the Dome, Mr. Mercedes and IT. She travels and paints often in New York, New Orleans, Texas and anywhere else she can. The landscape of Venice beach remains the most mucked place in the world as her Venice home and studio is her favorite place to be. “Muckrock” is the handle she chose as an ode to graffiti's hip hop roots but it has come to represent her obsession with all things music, she has painted over 5 memorials murals for Motorhead's Lemmy including one at the Rainbow room and a 40 ft Mt.Lemmy at Dave Grohl's recording studio in LA. Muck's real passion is to paint on things she's not supposed to paint on but those opportunities are rapidly decreasing as she is ever invited to paint on more and more walls and things, she enjoys painting humping bunnies on RVs and dressing up any manner of vehicle. She has also is founding Muck Recovery. It is a non profit recovery house that holds meetings, promotes sober living and mental health awareness! And she has a Wikipedia page!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Chapter One, Part One: Robert Vargas He is a contemporary artist known for his mixed-media portraits, murals and live events. He was born and raised in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Boyle Heights. His best-known works include "Long Live The King" featuring the late Edward Van Halen, in Hollywood. A City of L.A. commissioned mural "Can't Stop" of legendary Suicidal Tendencies frontman, Mike Muir, and Vargas was a key figure in helping Los Angeles lift its street art ban while creating another one of his his masterpieces, a four-story mural on Spring Street in the heart of downtown L.A. where our conversation took place during one of his live events…... A son of Los Angeles, a artist, a lover of music and soon to be record holder, in the Summer of 2017 he began work on his biggest project yet: a fourteen-story mural in L.A. that will rank as the largest mural in the world by a single artist. Well here we are. The end of the road so to speak. The end of a long road both physically and musically. The countdown I started on December 26th, 2017. But more so a collection of music I started almost a decade ago…… The irony of this post and this podcast is I have spent the past few days in Venice Beach, I haven't been there since 2019. I rolled in and had a chance to catch up with some friends. They saw my Connecticut license plate and said “You have arrived”. It has been a very emotional week for me. So as I begin to look for a place to live, I have pondered wether or not this podcast will continue. I also realized my radio career has come to a conclusion…… I am a Californian. Hello to you all from the golden state of California!!!!!! Home at last!!!!!!! I will let you in on a little secret. The last few weeks in the state of Connecticut produced the next few IWMWSWAF you are about to enjoy. I promised myself that I would share some thought's and of course music of my beautiful California. Some of you may not agree with statement, but when you've been planning this as long as I have, shit, you just need to fucking go through with it……. I have collected thousands of songs about California for over a decade (Since my very first visit!!!!!!). And began to think that maybe I would share some of them with you. I never think I have enough to fill the time and entertain, then as the days pass ideas wake me up in the middle of the night and I yell EUREKA!!!!! Music is fucking awesome isn't it? This is special and very sentimental to me. As I listen to this I think a few things. I'm old. I am one lucky motherfucker. I have had a blessed life and career. I'm old. Happy St Patrick's Day everybody. This is a St. Paddy's Day like we have never seen before. First hoping all of you are healthy and safe. And hoping that all of you are enjoying the Irish traditions safely and with your family and close friends. I decided to put up a very special episode. All of the music within this podcast, is all music with an Irish flare. Most of these bands are from Ireland, and some from other parts of the world. And one that is featured prominently, is from, Boston Mass. Ok, not a fan of the area but a huge fan of the band. And to me they are a St. Patrick's Day Tradition. Wayne Manor was a radio show that I did for close to a decade, that I was very proud of. And our listeners loved it and still talk about to this day to me.
