Amazon Book Club   Antonio might have been over-killed off the planet, but his sweet Gena is still alive, and ready to turnover a new, drug-free leaf in the heart of Detroit. No matter how hard she tries to escape the spirit of drugs in her life, it's attached to her reality, and everyone seems to evoke motives around Gena's being. Idolized by many, Gena is truly the person to be especially since she is the only woman who carries a legacy of Antonio Montero. If she thought she was in deep with Antonio Montero, then she had better beware of her charming new husband Shawn Bomoski. Shawn has more scandals then a Newsweek tabloid and Gena's past has become her present. If only Gena knew how problematic her husband really is and her alleged best friend Paula. Gena is truly a ride or die wife, best friend, and a mother, but exactly how deep is her love for Shawn? Will Gena escape another rocky marriage, or will Gena just ride the waves with her kingpin Shawn and raise Antonio Montero's son?

Spoiler Alert: Sex And The City, And Just Like That For our final episode of season 4 and 2021 we are joined by two comedians and television aficionados Paris Campbell and Ashley Ray to discuss all things ‘And Just Like That.' We talk about what we loved and hated about the original Sex and The City, the psychology behind why we 'hate watch' things, and HOW did we ever idolize Carrie Bradshaw? We unpack the difficulty of originally having to fit into a Carrie, Miranda, Samantha, or Charlotte, what the writers got wrong in this new series, and break down the new character 'Che'  as well as whether or not the writers are just trying to have token diversity in the new series. Finally we discuss the writer's missed opportunities, and what we would like to see in the c*mming episodes.   Follow Paris @pariscampbell and Ashley @theashleyray Follow us at @HowCumPodcast and @RemyKassimir  Get Tickets for How C*m Live: Robyn's 21st Birthday Show in NYC: IN PERSON or LIVESTREAM (December 27th, Caveat)   Sign up for our newsletter howcumpodcast.com  and for access to extras and FULL unedited episodes with VIDEO for only $5 at patreon.com/howcum Check out our website for live forums & merch! On Tuesday, February 16th, Charles Howard, University Chaplain and Vice President for Social Equity and Community at the University of Pennsylvania, spoke with Lawrence Ware, co-editor of "Ballad of an American," the first-ever graphic biography of Paul Robeson, about Robeson's relevance for today. Paul Robeson was the pre-eminent Black, left-wing figure of U.S. popular culture during the 1930s-40s. Concert singer, film actor, public personality, his "Ballad for Americans" was heard by millions of radio listeners. Idolized across large parts of Europe, his records heard widely in Africa, the Middle East and Asia, Robeson was struck down by McCarthyism. His legend and his lessons remain. The event was co-sponsored by the Afrosocialists and Socialists of Color Caucus (AFROSOC) of DSA, the DSA Fund, and the International Committee of DSA, along with the Religion and Socialism Working Group of DSA. This is special and very sentimental to me. As I listen to this I think a few things. I'm old. I am one lucky motherfucker. I have had a blessed life and career. I'm old. I can't believe some of the amazing things I have accomplished in radio. I'm old. I have met and had a chance to interview almost all the artists I have Idolized, ever since I was a kid. I'm old. And not only chatting with some of my idols, but newer bands I have really loved and helped forge their careers. I'm old. And as a human that loves music, every word and note will be cherished for the rest of my days……. This is Inside Wayne Manor with Stephen Wayne and Friends, From Inside The Wayne Manor Vaults. Long title I know. In this episode we focus on three artists's. In my opinion three of the biggest rock bands of our generation. Of course we start with TOOL. And some of my disturbing conversation with Maynard James Keenan. METALLICA. Period. James Hetfield (Papa Het) and I play a little game. Don't worry he enjoyed it and we talk other things as well. And last but not least, Number 8, and why do we call him great, jus because he is. And anytime you have a chance to talk to Corey Taylor from SLIPKNOT, he makes that conversation fucking great!!!!!!! We talk a bit, play some music and it was just a lot of fun for me to put together. Make no mistake about it, none of this, and I mean none of this could have happened without my broadcasting brother Mike Karolyi. For without him, there would be no images, no audio, none of this. Thank you my brother!!!!!! A visit with Buckethead as well, a tender loving moment from a maggot from the hive, and a blistering High Five From The Hive, and the announcer of IWM chimes in as well. Love that Studio Guy!!!!!! I hope you will enjoy listening to this as much as I did putting it together and stumbling my way down memory lane. Thank you to The Rock 106.9 WCCC (Always with me…..) and iRock Radio for allowing me to have a platform to do all of this.
