Every week we talk through or about an awful awful movie. We have still not watched Weekend At Bernies. Sorry. Send us questions and request! @moviesplatcast moviesplatpodcast@gmail.com
So it's come to this then has it? The 3D Resident Evil movie in all its outdated glory, and this came out 2010 for godsake. We continue our crawl through the Resident Evil films by watching the one that's so boring and stupid that we start talking about nearly anything else half way through...enjoy I guess. WTF February is coming soon! Send us your suggestions @Moviesplatcast and use the #WTFFebruary or don't. I'm not certain how Twitter works.
Thank God 2016 is over! Let's watch...Assassin's Creed. Oh God noooo. We talk in depth about the latest video game travesty of a film. Spoilers abound so don't say we didn't warn you. Follow us on Twitter @moviesplatcast Leave us a review or a rating and we'll love you forever.
Pair of Jacks! We did not do this on purpose. This is from at least October, so apologies for any inaccuracies or things that are not topical in anyway. Actually we should probably apologies for that every week. Tom Cruise is Jack Reacher and it's funny...you know cos he's tiny and old. Nah we're just kidding Tom you're always welcome on the show.
The title says it all. Wait no it doesn't. This week we feel the Christmas Spirit as we discuss the surely cult classic B-Movie mess that is Jack Frost. He's a mutant Snowman who kills people. What's not to love? Want to tell us what we should discuss next? Let us know! We're that sad we might actually do it.
A return to our usually scheduled programming, and our usually scheduled actor. Nic Cage is back in front of our beautiful eyes for the 2008 Sci-Fi mystery about predicting disasters. Fun for all the family. Leave us a review if you like us and let us know what you think of us on Twitter, Facebook and through our email at moveisplatpodcast@gmail.com
We're back and it's an ALL NEW (not really) format. We discuss the prequel to the hit Netflix series House of Cards. Where Kevin Spacey learns how to be a cat...by being a cat...he gets put in a cat. We talk about Nine Lives on this episode, this is not a commentary. Sorry. Leave us a review here and we'd really love you. Tell us what to watch next moviesplatpodcast@gmail.com And follow us for update news and stuff @MovieSplatcast
Yes, this exists. This is a film that happened. Words cannot do Terminator Woman justice...which is good because any words I might use might get me kicked in the face. Buy it anywhere you can and join us on a journey that will change your life forever. Follow us @MovieSplatCast for all the latest.
Oh my goodness, oh my damn another podcast have we gone mental? Quite possibly but not as much as Wesley Snipes presumably, that's right we're watching an early 2000s film about the future! And the sports ball events in it. I don't quite understand the rules but Dean Cain does apparently. Follow us @MovieSplatCast and tell us what we should watch next!
Yeah...the same as before. Recorded in July, very sorry, hope you enjoy. Follow us @MovieSplatCast and tell us how late we are, or recommendations or what you'd like to see from us in the future.
We're back! Have an episode recorded in July. We're very sorry. We watched both Purge films in anticipation for the new one that came out in August. We're sorry again. Follow us @MovieSplatCast And subscribe for sort-of up to date podcast loveliness.
Oh my word it's been so long since our last venture into podcastery...podcastitued....podcasts! And well you can see why, Blind Batfleck and bald Colin Farrell equals sad people. Listen to us cringe through a large deal of Daredevil and talk about the Marvel Universe in it's entirety. Horray. Follow us on Facebook & Twitter for up to the minute intrusion on our whereabouts and activities @MovieSplatcast. And email us (moviesplatpodcast@gmail.com) with all of your suggestions for future podcasts and videos. Maybe one or two that people have actually heard of would be a nice change and we'll watch all of your suggestions. In order. Over a day or two. We seriously have no lives. Test us.
Long time, no talk about awful movies hey? Ah well here's a brand new commentary track! We're sorry in advance. Ever wonder what Scream would be like if it was terrible? Well look no further because we found it and watched it and had no idea what the hell was happening...in Ripper! Starring Kelly Brook (for 5 minutes) and our best friend Jurgen Procknow (With a perm)

There is no description I can give for The Shepherd that would sound sane, so let's put it this way, Rowdy Roddy Piper carries a 6 foot cross in the first 5 minutes. Interested? What's wrong with you?! (Still RIP Rowdy, you were awesome) We are joined by our Rowdiest fan Laura for the weirdest collection of scenes put together and called a film. Recycle you sh**!!! That's the opposite of the moral of this movie, which is the third in a series of Cyborg movies that we never knew existed. Also Malcolm McDowell for 20 seconds....but he does have talons for hands....so thats...something. Hey look at that we can watch a normal film everyone has heard of! Shame it's World War Z though, but you can have everything. Listen with or without watching the cgi zombie ridden snoozefest if you like we talk generally about Max Brooks, CGI walls, and poor poor Matthew Fox and have a grand old time. Come join us!. Ghostquake! The lesser known ScyFy film no one wanted to see! This one has Danny Trejo and Charisma Carpenter as stars, guess how long they're in it!!! We talk though how terrible the effects are and generally try to understand what on earth is going on at all. Be sure to check our YouTube page for the highlights to this glorious glorious film. Well we continue our awful look at the Great Sci-Fi DVD box (only 2 more to go) and found a familiar name. Fortunately this didn't have early 00s Ben Affleck and Michael Bay directing so we got off lightly. Unfortunately it does have Rutger Hauer with a moustache. And images we cannot unsee. Come scar yourselves for life. Head to YouTube to watch this episodes "Highlights" which is available now! And you can see why we went insane, because I'm fairly sure we have the only copy of this movie in existence. Follow us on Twitter for up to the minute intrusion on our whereabouts and activities @MovieSplatcast And email us (moviesplatpodcast@gmail.com) with all of your suggestions for future podcasts and videos. Maybe one or two that people have actually heard of would be a nice change.
Ok so full disclosure. We started to watch a film called 'Ghost Machine' it was very very boring so we gave up and instead started discussing a small indie movie called 'The Hateful Eight' by some guy called Tarantino... you've probably never heard of him. We start off spoiler free but get into it around the half hour mark. We also dicuss The Revenant, Star Wars and films we want/need to see, including The Lobster. AND THAT'S NOT ALL, We also react to a specific scene of the Re-Animator (You know which one) as well as certain scenes of the Human Centipede 3 (They made a third?!) and that one Uwe Boll inspired sequence from Doom. It's just as cringeworthy. Show your hate towards us via Twitter (@moviesplatcast) or via email (moviesplatpodcast@gmail.com) and tell us where to get off, and how we can improve our miserable lives.
We're doing the Resident Evil films in reverse chronological order starting with the third one. It makes no sense to us either, however here's Resident Evil: Apocalypse, the second one. You know the one with Nemesis in it. It's not great, but probably the best of the series. We laugh at it and everything is fun and cool. Listen to it and be lovely. We also have highlights on YouTube for you lazy people or those of you who can't stand us for more than 20 minutes, I don't blame you to be honest but please check that one out. Follow us un Twitter @moviesplatcast for more rants and raves about film and things. And email us at moviesplatpodcast@gmail.com and give us further instructions. We're waiting on your command.
Happy 2016 everyone! We hope you all had a gudden! We decided to treat ourselves over the Christmas period by watching a good movie for a change. Here it is Keanu Reeves in John Wick! If you don't have the movie go buy it or stream it online because it's awesome! And then listen to our lovely lovely podcast over the top of it from people who are in awe at what is a good movie. Follow us for up to the...not minute but regular Twitter updates @MovieSplatcast and watch our YouTube highlight show where we take the best bit from all our things and cram them into a video. Peace yo.
He's the toughest cop alive...He's the only cop alive!!! Join Neil, Will and Joe as they try to understand the previous sentence and also wrap their head around an apocalypse that Ron Marchini definitely didn't cause, and that Adam West cannot save. Want to watch the best bits of this podcast? Head to YouTube to enjoy our very much inverted comma'd MovieSplat "Highlights" as well as other fun things we've done in the past. Follow us on Twitter for upto the minute intrusion on our whereabouts and activities @MovieSplatcast And email us (moviesplatpodcast@gmail.com) with all of your suggestions for future podcasts, we are waiting for your bat-mail (I mentioned Adam West, I had to put a misplaced, strained Batman reference in somewhere. Holy Forced Cultural Reference Batman!)
Attempting to find a fun, new movie that doesn't suck is difficult. So here's a 1990's Sci-Fi film we found starring Billy Dee Williams as an old tired man...in space. This is on a DVD with 3 other 'Great Sci-Fi Movies' (quoting the DVD box) and we intend to call this box a damn dirty liar for all the world to hear. Feel free to join us. Twitter = https://twitter.com/moviesplatcast YouTube = https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCldcksXse_PFIRwHX_7xzCg Email = moviesplatcast@gmail.com Come up and see us sometime.
We had to. Nicolas Cage stars in the latest film about a man far too old to plausibly play a character, run around and do actiony things when he's supposed to be in a horror film. We talk through Pay The Ghost and all of it's glory. It's definitely worth a viewing. Check out our YouTube page for highlights from Pay The Ghost and other commentaries and follow us on Twitter @moviesplatcast
So instead of bringing you brand new content, we're bringing....more content! This time we review the career of M Night Shymalalaymannayman and more importantly his first big flop, Lady in the Water, starring Paul Giammati (he tried damn it!!!) Hopefully we'll have a YouTube highlight reel of this podcast for those who have thrown the DVD out or just don't want to sit through Lady in the Water, we don't blame you. Follow us on Twitter @moviesplatcast Email us at moviesplatpodcast@gmail.com and tell us what in god's name a narf was. Please and thank you.
Remember us? We've been busy trying to make fun things happen...and quite possibly failing at that. How until then we watch another failure, Season of the Witch. Starring Ron Perlman...oh and Nicolas Frickin' Cage obviously. We get bored around halfway through and talk about general film stuff to entertain ourselves so there is definitely reason to listen! Please enjoy and tweet at us @Moviesplatcast and email us if you want, you know you do: moviesplatpodcast@gmail.com
Uwe Boll has still not answered our...I mean Will's call to fight him. So in order to coax him out of his directing shell we talk through his Game of Thrones/Lord of the Rings parody (we hope) In The Name of the King, it's got Jason Statham in it...and actual actors as well! It's a great bad movie and even better with our commentary! Subscribe at your leisure, and follow us at @moviesplatcast for more awesomeness!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE! We kind of failed in our 31 films but we got close! So to wrap it all off here's our grossed out commentary of HP Lovecraft's From Beyond starring Jeffrey Combs (who else). This is our 26th entry in our #ScarySplat Month. So we didn't do too bad...really....okay yeah we failed. Follow us @MovieSplatcast for more failures or email us at moviesplatpodcast@gmail.com to give us suggestions to stop or on movies whichever comes to mind.
SPOILER WARNING - We spoil everything around the 12 minute mark of this review. If you enjoyed this let us know at moviesplatpodcast@gmail.com Tweet at us @moviesplatcast And subscribe to us for constant movie fun!
Happy middle of October! We hope you've been having the scariest of scary months and we'd like to continue out contribution to the cause. With our 16th installment of #ScarySplat...a weird half hour short film produced by Roger Corman...yay. It's got Corey Feldman, Tony Todd and a hell of a lot of shlock and it is truly unmissable. And it almost shares our name! We like to this if our podcast where a film it'd be this. But then again we are thinking realistically. Follow us @moviesplatcast on Twitter Subscribe to us on iTunes Email us at moviesplatpodcast@gmail.com and keep on truckin'
Our second #ScarySplat commentary comes courtesy of mocking Uwe Boll's incredibly awful House of the Dead. It's fun, honest. If you prefer though listen to our other podcasts, leave a review and subscribe if you like us! Or if you don't! We're not fussy!
