There are two legends in Georgia about a pig man. The more interesting of the two involves five hunters who were killed in 1829. The description given by the survivors suggests that a skunk ape killed them. But they described something with a pig's snout. A local legend in Versailles, Indiana tells the story of a wolf man who lived in a cave and hung out with wolves. The story may be true or it may not. When I was a kid, my dad told me a crazy story about something that happened to him when he was just a boy back in Arkansas. Being a kid, I took his word for law. It wasn't until I got older that I realized he saw something that most people don't believe in. In researching the topic, I learned that he wasn't the only one.

I spent Thanksgiving in Colorado with my younger son. With time running out before I left, I had to put together a story off the cuff. So, I decided to tell some of my own frightening tales from my youth. The end of this podcast may not make sense, but please remember, it was first posted to YT.

While researching to do a story on the Chatawa Monster in Pike County, Mississippi, I discovered a strange little oddity. I couldn't let it go. Before I knew it, I was doing the video on this as much as I was on the Chatawa Monster. I hope you don't mind.

After an interview on Paranormal Odyssey's Mannimal Research UnsCryptid, I delved a little deeper into the possibilities surrounding the attack on Thomas Nuttall and his men in 1819. In the process, I learned a lot more about the cryptids in Arkansas and came across some pretty frightening dogman encounters.

This is a collaboration of stories with Leon from the YouTube channel Do It Noels Way. He's a dogman researcher in the United Kingdom who actually goes out to the sites where people have seen dogmen and collects video and other evidence to share with his subscribers. We continue our exploration of the New Orleans Axe Man, what he did, what drove him, and how it affected the entire region, the entire country, and even the world.

New Orleans was just one of many places during the early part of the 20th Century that was plagued with axe murders. In this case, it seems to have been racially motivated. Here's part one of that story.

Here's a bonus episode for Halloween. Something to send a chill down your spine and make your blood run cold. Or drain it from your body... Are vampires real? Well, I suppose, from a medical perspective, they're quite real.

This story is taken from an essay that is rumored to have been written by Benjamin Frankin, though never proven. It's a lesson in reason over emotion and gossip.

Moss Mountain sits across the Arkansas River from an island that is today called beaverdam island. Back in 1819, when the first Europeans were exploring the area, something attacked them, tearing them apart. Was it a band of bigfoot? There have been several recent reports of dogman in that area. Perhaps that's what those met that fateful night, October 31, 1819.

Something roams the banks of Carr Creek. It's rarely been seen, but footprints indicate something large and bipedal. The old timers call it a "booger." The few who have seen it say it was a a hyena. Does that make it a dogman?

Here's a slightly different take on the Sarah WInchester story. Were her actions based on guilt? Or was it an effort to reach religious enlightenment? You decide.

Here's a Halloween story to share around the campfire. Ever wonder why we call it a Jack o'lantern? This is the legend I love best.

I have been writing a book. I've reached a stage where I am going through and cleaning up various chapters, fleshing out a few characters and re-writing a few scenarios. I wanted to give you all a taste of what I've been writing, and I think Chapter One is about as clean as I'm going to get it, so here's a sample to whet your appetite. I hope you like it.

Bigfoot has been a part of our lexicon since the 1960s. Of course, the first nations people have spoken of creatures like bigfoot since long before Europeans ever crossed their shores. They have a variety of names for them. Once in a while, a legend sneaks through without being reverted to the bigfoot standard. Is Judaculla just a Cherokee legend? Or is it a Cherokee bigfoot? You decide.

Do cattle mutilations creep you out like they do me? Have you ever thought about exactly what those animals go through? What about the animals that have survived. Thank goodness they only do this to animals, right?

If you ever wondered where I get my rather peculiar view of life, listen to this podcast. I talk quite a bit about my father's youth. It's pretty revealing about where my mindset comes from. No worries, my father wasn't a serial killer or anything like that. He was just an interesting man who came from an interesting family, and who had a rather unusual after school job beginning at age 12. I think you'll also be interested in the story of Washington Irving Bishop, and the unhappy outcome of his fight with catalepsy.

Before you discount this story, please know that it is NOT a collection of fan mail. Even if I got fan mail, and I don't, I wouldn't waste your time reading letters to me about how great I am.While these letters do come, primarily from listeners, they're not what you think. These are conversations I've had with people from all over the world telling about their own strange experiences. Sadly, I think most people jumped to the conclusion that this was going to be me bolstering my ego, and the passed on it. However, judging by the statistics I get from YouTube, those who have listened, listened all the way to the end. That's a rarity, by the way, for any YouTuber. And judging by both the comments and my email inbox, they loved it. So much so that I plan to do a part 2. I may even do a part 3. Ghost Mountain is one of those places I came across while researching something else entirely. Someday I'm going to do an entire series on Pennsylvania alone. It has to be the most paranormal, UFO, alien, and cryptid saturated state in the union. Here's just a sample.

Today's story is a deeply personal one. It's my own story. A lot of people have asked me to talk about my bigfoot encounters – such as they were. And I recently saw something at the Land Between the Lakes in Kentucky that I am still not ready to accept or put a name on. It seemed like the right time, so here it is.

I have a friend in England who keeps me abreast of a lot of the strange and creepy things happening there. In case I haven't mentioned it before, and I highly doubt that, since I'm always telling people, I'm an Anglophile. I'm obsessed with everything British from the people and the music to the history and the geography. Furthermore, I love werewolf stories. I am deeply fascinated by dogman and werewolves and anything bipedal and hairy – you see some of the men I've dated. Combine werewolf with England, and I'm in sold. I had a little fun with this one, throwing in a little Universal Horror movie trivia, and reminiscing about my deep love of those old movies. I don't think I went too far off track. I hope you like it.

When Pino Turolla turned out to be such a great success, Cameron Buckner agreed to do another collaboration with me. I can't tell you how exciting that was for me. I truly do love that man. He's been just about the best friend a person can hope for to both me and my husband. And his wife is pretty cool, too. Anyway, I was looking around for something that we could both sink our teeth into, and I realized we do have a common denominator. Cam and I both grew up on the Mississippi River. He grew up a lot farther south than I did, but we both have river water in our veins. So, I knew it had to have something to do with water. I'd been reading a few books on the subject of swamps, and I remember my fascination with them when I visited family in Arkansas as a kid. It seemed like a match made in heaven.I promise the rest of the stories are fabulous, but the first story doesn't have much punch to it, but I want you to know that I had a great uncle who was the best storyteller I ever knew. This was my one chance to share with the world my one big adventure with him. It may bore you. I hope it doesn't. Just know that it's my tribute to him. I miss you, Uncle Nolan.

There are no ghosts, UFOs, aliens, or monsters in this story. Just an incredible twist at the end. Okay, perhaps there is one monster. Maybe even three. I hope you find this tale of a lesser-known member of the Lincoln family as fascinating as I did.

Please accept my most sincere apologies.In March, when Russia invaded the Ukraine, I was horrified by the number of people struggling to flee the area. I'm not a politically motivated person, so don't even try to force your rhetoric on me. I'll ignore it. My one and only concern was the plight of the refugees. My idea was to tell stories about monsters and legends in that part of the world and intersperse those stories with information for anyone interested in helping the refugees by donating to charities. It was a tough decision to make because I knew I'd be seen as someone trying to capitalize on the war, or worse, that I'd draw in comments from people who would try to turn my channel into their political platform. I'd be a liar if I didn't admit to deleting more than a few of those comments. Human beings are human beings, no matter where they're from. If they're in dire straits, I firmly believe it is the responsibility of those who can, to help. That's my final comment on the situation. And here's how I presented it…

A friend of mine was telling me about some pretty strange encounters she'd had as a child. I don't know if these fell into the category of UFO and Aliens, or if they were more along the line of the paranormal. Whatever they were, they were fascinating to me. I started looking into the things children see that we adults don't, and frankly, I found it a bit unsettling. I can only hope it has the same effect on you. Enjoy.

Recently, I uploaded a podcast about a place in Alabama called Jack Cole Road. I promised then that you'd hear more about that road. Well, today's the day. The person who submitted the story idea to me had mentioned that is stepson had his own adventures in that area, and he got him to send me those encounters. I combined them with a few strange events that happened to my own son on a road near our hometown, and another story on Jack Cole Road was born. I hope you'll enjoy it.

Right after I started working for Cameron Buckner, he told me about a book written by a guy named Pino Turolla. My husband found me a used copy of it, and I soon learned that Pino was very much a real-life Indiana Jones. His adventures in South America alone are not only fascinating, but a wealth of information.

Robert the Doll has long been a source of fascination with me. I've probably watched just about every television show and YouTube video about him. Over the years, I couldn't help but notice the sad lack of information. It was like every show was just glossing over the truly scary stuff and hitting just the highlights which, for my money, weren't all that interesting. From the lack of interest in my video, I suspect that a lot of other people out there feel the same.

Edward Leedskalnin was a fascinating man who was full of mysteries. Never is that more evident than in his coral castle located in Florida. No one, to this day, is fully certain of how he managed to build an entire castle out of stone all by himself. Not to mention the accuracy of his telescope - also handmade - or his perfectly balanced door.

Jack Cole Road is a short, dirt road in Blount County, Alabama. It's unimpressive to look at, but it has a history of murder, suicide, cryptids, and disappearances, just to name a few of the strange events that have happened there.
