This is the beginning of a new Segment of the show. Red-Ish and Raw where my friend Ish and I talk about things and give our opinions. In this one, we tackled diversity and multiculturalism and the benefits they bring to society. While people are free to believe what they want they also need to be able to put their ideas into a real-world scenario and see if it works or not. Racism and Ethnostates have no place in the real world. Plain and simple. I hope everyone enjoys this one, you'll be seeing a lot more of these coming in the future. Please let us know what topics you would like us to talk about in future episodes. Like, share, and subscribe ofcourse! In this Episode of Cultures Around the World with Red, I talk with Ishtiaq. Ish is originally from Bangladesh as well as living for a bit in Saudi Arabia, currently living in America going for his PhD in Neuroscience. We mainly talk about Bangladesh and their culture while also hitting on some from Saudi Arabia. We can thank Bangladesh for a ton of things we take for granted from Radio Sciences, various fabrics as Bangladesh is home to a large textile industry. Cant talk about another country without bringing up their foods. Bangladeshi cuisine as one might expect is heavily reliant on spices, rice, and vegetables. Biryani is the favored dish of Ish. They have a unique cheese dessert as well called Rasmali which I hope to try at some point. We also touch on Saudi Arabia as well as Ish being an immigrant and his love of America while still holding his roots to his heart. It was a great talk with Ish and I can't wait to visit him and try some homemade Biryani. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/jamie-goodman/message

I had the absolute pleasure to sit and talk with Daryl Davis on what he has done over the years in helping those with negative and racist views see that the world is much better than they thought and to abandoned those ideas for more open and caring ideas that actually benefit humanity. We talked about his upbringing and how his childhood growing up around the world let him see how alike we all are no matter where we are from. How the George Floyd situation has lead to so many more eyes seeing the injustices minority face and how it needs to end. Aditiya Singh is in my opinion a truly unique human. His view of the world is simple yet intricate. His mind is strange and chaotic but his words are true and special. The art he creates is one of a kind and his approach is as well. From a wealthy prominent family in India, he has carved his own path in life thanks to his family and friends that saw the talent he had and wouldn't let him give up. Reds Ramblings brings you Barbera Schouten of the 100% yourself with Barbera Podcast. Shes born and raised in the Netherlands and boy does the Netherlands have a lot going on. We barely hit on a lot of the things I found out but we had a great time regardless. We touched on the history of carrots and how they became orange as we know them today. We talk about local traditions like biscuits and mice for new parents. How the city of Amsterdam is built upon millions of poles, and so much more! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/jamie-goodman/message

Cultures around the world heads over to Cornwall in the UK this time to sit with 2 brothers Casey and Hughey to discuss the history and traditions of Cornwall, Home of King Arthur. Before I knew of these two I knew absolutely nothing about Cornwall until I looked into it and found I knew so much about Cornwall simply cause we all grew up reading and watching stories about King Arthur. We also talked about Cornish Pastys and how they grew up in an extremely haunted house as kids. Casey and Hughey also make short films while Casey has a budding music career. It was a great time talking with them both and you can definitely look forward to me having them on again at some time! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/jamie-goodman/message
