Howdy Folks Another Monday, another Podcast. This one has a wee bit of follow on from the Contrast and Apocalypse stuff I talked about last week, I have talked about paint before but I wanted to talk a little about the ones I use, also what's going on with Apocalypse since I last sent out a podcast. I talk a little (or a lot depending on who you are) about Hamanshiron and what has been gettin uploaded to social media recently and what we are trying to do with the Lore so anyone who picks up the rules can identify with characters and NPCs, how we are trying to include everyone but at the same time not stereotype and typecast. Then finally I talk a little about Kickstarter and board games including a little about Altar Quest, a board game currently in it's last days of it's Kickstarter Of course I plug the Glasgow Games Gathering because it's this Saturday the 29th of June, hope to see you local folks there. Happy Hobby

We continue to be bothered by technical issues this episode, however all the gremlins in the world will not keep us from disclosing the torrid tales of horror that you will get to experience in this podcast. Not only are we joined by the co-designer of Altar Quest and the warhammer Quest Card Game, Brady Sadler, to talk about Dungeon Crawls, but we are also talking about bits of Dan's body that you probably were hoping would never be discussed. Join the Sporadically Board Facebook group here Follow Sporadically Board on twitter @sporadicboard Follow Mike over on twitter at @michaeldilisio Follow Dan over on twitter at @dghughes28 Massive thanks to the ever fantastic Gary King for the graphics for the show Also huge thanks to Singing Sadie for the show's music
If you heard our last episode with the Top Ten Fantasy Games, you’ll know that the Sadlers will soon hit Kickstarter again with Alter Quest. This is a huge, new fantasy adventure game, combined with the same Modular Deck System as Street Masters and Brook City. The Sadlers elaborate on influences like Hero Quest and Descent, then talk about how their game tries to capture the magic of old school, wondrous adventure with new school mechanisms. And, oh yeah, furniture! Mike also provides insights as a playtester.
Adam and Brady Sadler return to talk to Tristan and Leki about Altar Quest, their latest game using the modular deck system. We also learn about Adam and Brady's past as rock stars and what they do when they aren't designing board games. To learn more about Altar Quest head to the Blacklist Games website. You'll also be able to find the Kickstarter campaign there once it launches on May 28th. https://www.blacklistgamesllc.com/altarquest Thanks again to our listeners for tuning in each week. Please, please, please head over to iTunes and leave us a lovely rating and review...or even a mediocre one :) itunes.apple.com/nz/podcast/board…d1227891466?mt=2 Want to share your thoughts with us? We welcome back Adam and Brady Sadler to talk about another big, honking project of theirs from Blacklist Games, Altar Quest! However, instead of a straight-up preview, Jason figured it would be fun to invite the guys on to share their main influences for crafting their newest fantasy Kickstarter project. So, along with Mike Dilisio from Solomode Games, we put together a list of Top Ten Fantasy Tabletop Games. We all made our personal Top Tens, then smushed them together to make an uber list. Spoiler alert: Adam and Brady have a LOT to say about two games that seem like no brainers for a list like this - Mage Knight and Gloomhaven. Come check out what they have to say about these and a host of other fantasy games. Also, we will have a full preview of Altar Quest coming out for you next week.
#026 In this episode we do a game preview of the upcoming ALTAR QUEST kickstarter campaign, Adam and Brady Sadler Game designers of the game give us all the exclusive details about this promising game of epic proportions!
In this week's episode Mike and Steve interview Adam and Brady Sadler from Blacklist Games on their upcoming game Altar Quest, the third installment of their Modular Deck System games that is target to launch late May 2019 on Kickstarter.
