POPULARITY

ENTERTAINING SHORT FILMS is a new category on the RPA Network, which features indie short films for your enjoyment! We applaud these creators! Completed in 2011, Worlds Apart tells the story of a young Central California family caught in an unimaginable situation caused by climate change. Told through the eyes of a child's teddy bear, Worlds Apart is part cautionary fairytale and part science fiction thriller. The film has garnered fifteen Best Animation awards from festivals around the globe. Many amazingly talented students worked for two years to complete this film. This version of Worlds Apart features an excellent film score by Chad Seiter. Having worked on films such as The Incredibles and Ratatouille, Chad was the perfect person to undertake the score and orchestration for Worlds Apart. For the final recording Chad assembled some of the most talented musicians in Hollywood, this included artists from the LA Philharmonic. This is the third film written, produced, and directed by Michael Zachary Huber.
This week Josh interviews the composer Chad Seiter. Chad has famously worked on the Zelda Symphony of the Goddess and Pokemon Symphonic Evolutions tours! Composer Chad Seiter has quickly become a premiere voice in the realm of film, TV and video game composing. Chad takes some time to discuss his path to becoming a composer from his early beginnings, to becoming Michael Giacchino's assistant and to now helming blockbuster games such as ReCore. Chad's path and background makes him unique in that he's one of the few young composers out there who is fully at home working with the orchestra. We talk about everything he's learned from Michael Giacchino, the state of video game scores over the past few years, and how he tried to incorporate orchestra as much as possible into the sound of ReCore. Chad provides such amazing insight and detail, and it was such a blast having him as a guest! Interview Produced & Presented By:Kaya Savas Special Thanks:Chad SeiterGreg O'Connor-ReadTop Dollar PR
Chad Seiter has composed and produced original music for several major Hollywood franchises such as Star Trek, Fringe, and Lost. He is also Composer, Music Director and Associate Executive Producer for Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions and The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses touring concert series performing symphonic arrangements of classic Nintendo scores with hundreds of the world's leading orchestras. Chad Seiter is one of those composers lucky enough to create music that encompasses his passions for movies, TV and video games. Chad started his career as an assistant to Academy Award-winning composer Michael Giacchino, and has produced music for some top video game titles, such as the 2013 ‘Star Trek' video game based on J.J. Abrams' reboot film, and 2016's ‘ReCore' from Microsoft studios. A die-hard retro gamer himself, Chad's symphonic arrangements of themes from classic NIntendo games has been a huge success, and a great way to attract new audiences who have never been to a live symphony concert before.
